We stayed for a week in December for Christmas '25 and it was perfect! The unit was very comfortable and a welcoming retreat after active days during the holiday week. The unit has all the comforts of home and is in a great location to enjoy the area. Thank you for having us as your guests!!

Excellent location and clean space!

My wife and I loved the location. Well stocked and very clean! We both thought the place was spacious enough for both of us - we both were able to work remotely for the week as well! Pet friendly and a nice park/trail to walk the dog in just around the corner. Close to everything! Anne and Andy were very helpful and great hosts.

Great place for a quiet, relaxing getaway

The apartment is very comfortable and well-equipped, ideal for a relaxing weekend for one or two people, and within striking distance of both Freeport and Portland. The market on the corner has great prepared foods and baked goods, and the living room has a view across the harbor. Also a pleasant nature preserve within walking distance.

Perfect!

Came in town for a surprise family birthday party. It was a clean and cozy spot with everything you might need. Didn’t get out much due to travel delays and snow but it was a perfect spot!

We spent 5 nights at the property and were very comfortable. We found all the amenities promised and the location can not be beat. The hostess was available and helpful but respected our privacy at the same time. Great stay in a great spot.

Amazing Vacation/Family Visit

We were welcomed with a clean and beautifully decorated home. It had everything! The store next door was amazing for breakfast and snacks. Short walk down the road to an amazing water view was incredible. We will definitely be returning. The basketball hoop was an extra special treat for our 19 year old.

Nice Place

We loved this place; it was just minutes from downtown Portland and in a very nice quite community. The owner was very responsive, helpful and accommodating to our needs. Would definitely stay here again. You will enjoy staying here.

Beautiful location and property

Anne and Andy were great hosts and their property is in a perfect location to feel a part of the Portland area but removed enough from the city to feel peace and quiet. The daily walk down the hill to the harbor to watch the boats come and go and take in the surrounding island views was a joy. Thanks for making it dog friendly too! Worked out great to be there with my pup.

Great Location; Great Place; Great Host

This property is ideally situated steps away from the Falmouth town dock and close to a fantastic little market serving fresh baked goods and delicious lobster rolls. Anne, our host, is a veteran of the area and all her reccomendations are spot on. The result for the guest is a fully equipped apartment in a beautiful setting. Our only regret is that we didn't have more time to stay.

This place was perfect! Clean, well equipped kitchen, close to the beach (2 min walk) and right next to a quaint neighborhood market. Comfortable couch, great TV (including Netflix). This very charming seaside village was fun for family and very welcoming to our little fur baby!

October ‘23 sightseeing

The property is perfect for two people. The location in Falmouth is perfect as well. It is in a quiet, attractive neighborhood and it is a five minute walk to the bay. The bay is a perfect spot to see the sunrise. It is on the north side of Portland with great access to Freeport, Boothbay, Acadia and Bar Harbor

A perfect fit

Lovely decor, great location and functional as well. We did some great biking in the area and met friends for dinner in Portland. The washer and dryer came in very handy! The owners were helpful.

Great Weekend Getaway!

Beautiful apartment, great location as it is close to Portland, Freeport, Yarmouth and entrance to 95, 295 and Route 1. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful! It was rainy and humid during our stay, another AC unit in the bedroom would have been nice. We would stay here again!

Second Stay at this Location

Ideally situated up the block from Town Landing public access to Water, and yet the block is quiet throughout the day and night. The property is clean, comfortable, and offers washer dryer. A Bike riding friendly neighborhood. You can relax on the water, visit the local beaches (Casco Bay), take a Mail service ferry ride (2/12 hours for under 20 locals recommend), and many other attractions in Falmouth, Yarmouth, and Portland.Many great food options in the area. Additionally, We were notified on day of our departure that we accidentally left a piece of sentimental jewelry behind. So grateful Don’t hesitate to book your stay.

Clean and comfortable upstairs apt in Falmouth, Maine

Apartment was in a quiet upscale neighborhood close to Portland. Nicely furnished and decorated with clean, well-functioning kitchen and bathroom. Nice linens, dishes and cookware provided. Safe streets on which to walk, run or bike, and a lovely wildlife preserve within an easy ten-minute walk.

Maine weekend

Relaxing retreat!

This was our second time staying at this adorable carriage house and it certainly didn’t disappoint (who says you can’t go back?) It was every bit as wonderful as the first time! The place is clean and well equipped with all the comforts of home. The location is perfect with the Town Landing Market at the corner and the beautiful water with its pier and beach at the foot of the hill. Both within walking distance. Definitely a little piece of paradise!!

I'm a realtor and my husband, Andy is an architect and are newly empty- nesters. We have lived and raised our family here for 30 years , although my family has been here for over 200 yrs. They built steel sailing ships in the 1800's in the Bath area.

We just finished building this beautiful new carriage house with apartment above for others to experience Maine too. If you're interested in the local scene, we're happy to recommend great restaurants, events, and fun things to do and see here all year long. We know once you visit you'll want to come back to this special place we call home.

We're active with tennis, skiing, boating, and friends. We hope to host you soon!
