À propos de cet hébergement

Ah !!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that you found the place very clean and that our directions were clear and helpful. While the lack of Wi-Fi and cell service can take a little getting used to, many of our guests tell us that it ends up being one of their favorite parts of the experience. It’s a rare opportunity to truly unplug from emails, social media, notifications, and the constant demands of everyday life. In many ways, it allows us to reconnect with how people used to live—more present, more peaceful, and more connected to Mother Nature and the people around us. Guests have told us that being disconnected helps them slow down, sleep better, enjoy meaningful conversations, read, relax, watch the stars, and simply appreciate the beauty and quiet of nature. It can be a wonderful reminder that we don’t always need to be connected to technology to feel connected—to ourselves, our loved ones, and the natural world around us. Thank you again for staying with us and for appreciating this unique opportunity to unplug and recharge. We would love to welcome you back anytime!

This was my 2nd stay at this lovely cabin. It held onto the rustic charm, even without the 1.5' of snow. The wood stove was more than enough to keep the main room comfortable on the 30 def (f) nights. The electric heaters in the other rooms was more than adequate as well. The kitchen is very well supplied, every time I wondered if they had something, I found it. It's better stocked than my house. It is a lovely location for good money. Wife likes it enough we a looking to book it again this year for our anniversary.

I’m glad you enjoyed the cabin’s rustic charm even without the snow, and that the wood stove and heaters kept everything comfortable during those cooler nights. It’s great to hear the kitchen had everything you needed (and then some!). We try to make it feel like a true home away from home, so that means a lot. We’d absolutely love to host you again for your anniversary—just let me know when you’re thinking, and I’ll make sure everything is ready for a special stay.

If you are looking for or perhaps need serene tranquility - this is the place for you. Truthfully it might be called 'whispering pines' as that is all you will hear for your morning beverage. The unit is well equipped with kitchenware as is the bath. Directions to turn on equipment is clear and well marked. We started a fire in the wood burning stove one evening and it seriously kept the cabin warm for the next couple of days. If I would consider anything missing it would only be the traditional bear skin rug in front of the fireplace! We came back refreshed and 'tech detoxed'!

This cabin provided everything I needed for a week off-grid. It was a clean, quiet, well-stocked space where I could stay warm and solitary. I was quite happy and comfortable, with only the cheerful stuffed bear on the bed for company. We moved from St Louis MO to Phoenix AZ in 2011. We love it in Phoenix. Some times we miss the green and that is why we bought Koko's cabin. Koko is the name of our horse. She is a rescue horse. We made sure she can stay at our Cabin safe. We love to be at our cabin in hot summer days in Phoenix or in cold winter up in Parks AZ. The wood burning fire place makes that cabin so cozy with some hot "koko". :)

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

This property is nicely on a slope and the terrain is exciting. When you look out of the kitchen you can see the Kendrick mountain. You see all the pine trees. It is breath taking to listen to the wind blowing thru the pine trees. At nights, it is pitch dark. You can see the starts so crisp clear. This is pretty much the wonderful way of being in the nature with the luxury of simple cabin. We just go there to relax. Get out of the day to day hectic and stress. I am so happy that the cell reception is very weak to non existence. You are disconnected from the electronic world. You could drive down the road and you will have some reception. Be conservative with water please. We have a 1000 Gallon Cistern. You can use 100 Gallons per day as included in your rent. Usually that is more than enough for 2 people. After that we have to charge you a small fee of 20 cents per Gallon.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

You are out there in the forest, yet within 30 minutes you can be in downtown Flagstaff and 65 mils from GRAND CANYON. First Gas station is 6 miles away. There is a McDonald and Subway 10 minutes away. Breathtaking view of starts are right in front of the cabin! Flagstaff downtown 25-30 minutes away. Williams AZ about 25 minutes.
