La chambre principale a un roi. Chambre d'hĂŽtes VIP a deuxiĂšme roi. La troisiĂšme chambre a deux lits queen.
Le salon donne sur le bayou. La salle de bain principale a une grande baignoire, deux lavabos, une toilette et un bidet. Le deuxiÚme bain a une douche / baignoire, vanité et toilettes.
Cette unité est située jusqu'à deux volées d'escaliers au dernier étage. La gare locale est à un pùté de maisons.

Quiet retreat

This was the perfect quiet bayou retreat to unwind during mardi gras. Beautiful views all around, comfy beds, plenty of space for 6 adults. Owner had great communication and responded very quickly. Would recommend and definitely stay again!

Awesome penthouse! Great view!

The place was really nice!! Loved the layout! The cleaners need to clean a little better like under the beds and night stands, and clean the showers out completely and not leave used bar soap in them. Other than than that we enjoyed our stay! Would have been nice to know about the elevator and code to use it before we got there. Found out like 2 days later there was one and what the code was. Would definitely stay again though! It was really a great house!!

Not perfect, but very nice...

I could nitpick with a few upkeep issues, but i won't. The deck with a view and the tub are what sold us on the property and they didn't disappoint, but we didn't enjoy the sunsets that are portrayed in the pictures. The negative for the location is the proximity to downtown NOLA. We stayed four nights and made five trips to downtown and it is a 30 minute drive each way, ut traffic was only an issue once. Overall very happy and thank you for letting us stay...

Good location to access attractions, but property needs some work

Great location that was about a 30 min drive from many attractions in New Orleans. The property had plenty of room for our family of 8. The exterior of the property needs work and doesn't look very nice, but there is a nice view of the bayou. The interior was fairly clean, but there were lots of little things that could use better upkeep. Also the AC didn't work very well the first few nights, and our last night at the property was not comfortable since the AC stopped cooling. The property owner was responsive to our request for information and did give us some good guidance on places to eat and a beach location in MS, but we did not get a response our last night there when I shared the AC stopped cooling.

Stay on the Bayou

Well to start off the weather was great! The description about the train being 1 mile from the condo is true but, what isn’t shared is the train runs by the condo about 30yds away all hours of the day and yep thru the night and as early as 4am! It shakes the entire condo! The property was dated on the outside and penthouse
TBD your in an apartment above 4 other apartments. If you decide to stay here be sure to bring everything you need. We were given 1 trash bag, marginal amounts of had soap and Zero cleaning supplies or laundry soap. I hope the owner appreciated the new full bottles of hand soap left behind. Our adventure was enjoyed but, this just isn’t the place we thought it would be. PS if I was in a penthouse we wouldn’t have had to climb a ton of stairs when there was a elevator on site but, again no access and the pool was gross! Hence why there isn’t any exterior photos in the listing. To end on a positive note the Palmetto Resturant located adjacent to the condo is a fantastic spot! The food made up for all the unknowns.

A very nice quiet area

This was a great place to stay if you don't mind stairs. We enjoyed it, beds were verycomfortable. A couple things to remember there was no laundry detergent or dryer sheets & there was no nobs or handles on the cupboards which mad it very difficult to open any drawers or cupboards in the kitchen...we thought this was strange. We really liked the counters in the very large bathroom as we were able to set our suitecases opened up on them & that made them very accessible. It was a little bit of a drive to New Orleans, but we didn't mind that at all. Easy to get to.

Beautiful view of the Bayou

The spaciousness of the condo was amazing with lots of light entering the third floor penthouse through its many floor length windows. We enjoyed the colorful, peaceful sunsets reflected in the waters of the bayou as we sat on the balcony in the evenings. The three bedrooms were large with comfortable beds and several walk-in closets. The master bathroom contained not only a large whirlpool bathtub, toilet, but also a bidet - a plus for European travelers. The large, full length windows in the master bathroom overlooked the bayou, which made for a romantic setting for a candlelight bath, but some full length Roman curtains would have been nice for a bit more privacy. The condo is conveniently located about a 30 minute drive to the French Quarter in New Orleans where we visited some wonderful art galleries. The small town of Slidell has some nice restaurants and bars with good food and friendly people. I hope to return and bring my grandchildren next time to stay with me in the condo.

Nice place with good space for our group of seven. Very close to New Orleans and attractions. Drawers need handles, some are very difficult to open as they are too close together even though nice self closing design. Master bath a huge plus. Three daughters loved the huge tub.

Bayou Penthouse

Great location. Great views off of the back balcony. Was there for work, the lack of WIFI was a draw back especially in this day of time. But would stay again.
