We had a wonderful, peaceful stay. The house and property were well maintained and clean. Everything we needed was there, and the Owners were very attentive. The location is perfect, and the view serene and beautiful. We can't wait to come back!

The house location is great! Very quiet and private. My 14 year old son loved fishing off the dock, he caught a mess of catfish, some blue crabs, an eel, and a sunfish. The view from the house across the marsh really can’t be beat. The hosts made everything easy and comfortable. If I am ever back in the area I would definitely stay here again.

Such a wonderful stay! The location was beautiful with the most spectacular sunrises we’ve ever seen. We enjoyed the spotless home with amazing views across the entire back of the home. We crabbed off the pier for fun. Laura was amazing and made sure our stay was perfect!

Such a thoughtful card and cakes provided since we were celebrating our anniversary!

Wonderful location for exploring the North Shore area (Covington, Abita Springs, Slidell). The house was lovely, clean, modern and amazing views of the sunrise over Bayou Lacombe. The host was welcoming and gave excellent information. We really enjoyed our visit.

We just returned from a 3 night stay. We have stayed at many homes and this one out ranked most. The host was very welcoming and the place was extremely accommodating, clean and comfortable. Everything that we needed was there for our use. The location is quaint and quiet. The scenery was beautiful, especially the sunrises and sunsets. We have family that lives close and we look forward to booking again.

It was a wonderful stay. We came in for our son's wedding being held in nearby Mandeville, we arrived pre wedding to be sure to also get a little sight seeing in to the trip. The back deck offered amazing views and wildlife. Comfy beds, clean amenities, everything we needed was at hand. Hosts were a joy to work with.

Everything was very clean and comfortable. Outdoor area was amazing. We spent all day outside fishing and crabbing. With the house being lifted we were able to set up underneath with toys for the babies to stay entertained. Kitchen was great and master shower was very nice. Big windows allow you to see sunrise and bayou from kitchen and living room. Will definitely try to stay here again in the future.

Lacombe’s gem

My family and I had a pleasant stay. Lake area was relaxing. View of the lake was beautiful. Home felt clean and calming! Pictures on site are accurate to the location.

Fantastic get away

Great location! Close to so many attractions but in a very peaceful location! Lived the environment Everything we needed was there Owners were amazing and super helpful Loved seeing alligators from the porch every AMAn absolutely 5 experience

Family get together.

My family gets together several times a year in different cities just to keep in touch. We come from all over the country and Camp David was a perfect location because many family members live near New Orleans. The space provided more than enough room to accommodate everyone that stopped by to visit. Our family highly recommends this beautiful property!

Wonderful Place

The house was perfect for us. Couldn't have asked for a better set up. The house was very clean. Location was perfect for us. We could go enjoy what we wanted, and the retreat away from the hustle of the city.
