Great house to stay at

This property went over and beyond what we were expecting. The house was kid friendly and we enjoyed the stay very much. It is super close to Legoland so after a long day, it’s not too far of a drive.

Perfect setting for a relaxing getaway!

I couldn't have dreamed up a better setting for a family getaway. The game room was so fully stocked that it felt like having our own private arcade, there was plenty of space for everyone to relax alone or together, and the house was so close to the beach, lagoon, and grocery stores that we didn't have to drive all weekend.

Awesome getaway!

We stayed here for Thanksgiving and the weekend following and had a wonderful time! The weather was beautiful and the backyard was great for spending time outside. The house had plenty of room to accommodate 8 adults and the location was great. Great communication with the host and he was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

Great house to fit a large group

We loved our stay at this house. The 4 bedrooms had plenty of our for our group of 9. The kids loved the backyard with a playground, sand pit along with all the fun games in the garage. The only very minimal complaint would be that the kitchen cookware and utensils could use a refresh.

Family Vacation

This house is amazing. Plenty of room for everyone, inside and out. So many things to do, never a boring a moment. It’s fully loaded with toys and games
for down times at the house and beach adventures, for ALL ages. They didn’t miss a beat. Location is perfection! I highly recommend this property, best Vrbo yet!! Thank you!

So many things to do!

Overall we loved the house because there were SO MANY things for the kids to do. They were easily entertained between all of the games in the backyard, garage, and in the house. Our biggest complaint was that the listing said it had 3 Full bathrooms and it did not! Which ended up being pretty inconvenient for our group. Great location, we made the quick drive to Tamarack Beach many times throughout our stay and the kids loved the boogie boards provided at the house, they even had wet suits in multiple sizes. Many unexpected amenities that were appreciated.

Great spot for families

This place was a fun stay with the family. They've got a great set up with lots of lawn games and everything you need to enjoy the beach. The rooms were well set up and beds were comfy. Only downside is the lack of air conditioning, but thats on us for not checking the listing for that.

Large accommodating home

The house was large, lots of toys the kids and adults enjoyed. The home needed TLC, front screen handle broken, couldn't shut. Tile floors dirty, we had to mop and the BBQ had to be majorly scrumbed. We did have a wonderful time and just appears owner needs a new cleaning service.

Lots of fun

My family of 9 had a great time. There was plenty of room with a nice big kitchen and family room and beds for everyone. We loved using the beach accessories as we went to Harbor beach in Oceanside everyday. Hands down the best beach around. The kids also loved the hot tub. We were a little disappointed with the quality of the amenities as the pac man, ping pong, pool table, treadmill and skee ball either didn’t work or were missing parts. In general it was great to all be together with lots of places to gather but the place could use a little more TLC.

Perfect location and all the amenities!

We stayed in the house in mid July for a quarantined vacation, for 4 nights. The house is beautiful and was only a 20 min walk to the beach. Everything was very clean and nicely stocked. This house is perfect for adults only or families. Plenty of space for everyone! The garage has a variety of beach equipment and games to enjoy. The only thing off was the pool table as there's not really enough room to play, and the sticks aren't straight. But if you're not an avid billiards enthusiast you wouldn't notice. The grill was also a bit dirty and needed a good cleaning. The first night we were there I didn't notice while cooking, and the tray in the bottom of the grill caught fire due to a build up of grease. Thankfully we were able to quickly put it out with no issues. We went ahead any gave it a decent cleaning before we used it again. No other issues to note. Just a tip about the nearest beach, Tamarack. Be sure you're a strong swimmer and pay attention. Those waves were gnarly! I was pummeled multiple times and it gave me a good scare.

Great beach getaway-

This house was perfect for our 3 families. Clean, organized and plenty to do. The kids loved the game room (arcade, foosball, Basketball game, minature bowling) There was also a hot tub, fire pit, playground with sand, yard games. The beach was very close by and the lagoon less than half mile and the host provided surfboards, bodyboards, chairs and umbrella. The grocery store was only a block down the street. The location was ideal as it allowed us to goto Knotts Berry Farm and Legoland is only 10 min south of the house. The host was extremely responsive to our questions. Thanks again! We'll definitely be back.

Excellent stay!

I came with a large group and everyone had a great time! This house has a TON of amenities, including an outdoor play area, extensive game room, fire pit, etc. The house is clean, nicely updated, tastefully decorated. Location is close to the beach and downtown Carlsbad. Will definitely return!
