Casa TabacĂłn est construite avec des finitions fines, est entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e. Les chambres ont des ventilateurs de plafond et de la climatisation, la chambre a un ventilateur, il y a aussi un petit balcon oĂč vous pouvez souvent observer le passage de diffĂ©rents animaux sauvages. Nous sommes Ă  3,5 km de l'une des plus belles plages du monde et du parc national Manuel Antonio. Aussi de nombreux endroits avec une grande attraction touristique. Il existe une variĂ©tĂ© de restaurants et de magasins pour acheter ce dont vous avez besoin.

The balcony is perfect! Early morning with coffee we saw 3 kings of monkeys, amazone, agouti.. the pool is perfect after the day out and from there we saw toucans and also scarlett macaw! The owner have several dogs and a cat and they are very friendly with everybody! We love that place and recommend it! Alberto and Milena are great hosts!

Milena and Alberto were very welcoming and accommodating to us! We were able to drop bags off early on check in as well which was really appreciated. The place was clean, comfortable and perfect. The super nice dogs were an added bonus. I’d highly recommend CasaTabacon to anyone staying in Manuel Antonio, you are a 5 minute was to the grocery store, shops, and cafes and a short uber to the beaches.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Tabacon and in Manuel Antonio. This cozy place provided a perfect home base for our travels. We particularly enjoyed the deck, especially when the monkeys came through the trees, and we loved spending time in the pool in the evening. Our hosts were welcoming and helped us arrange a wonderful tour of the national park. The location is within walking distance to many stores and restaurants although there is not a lot of space for walking so care is needed. A car is helpful for the beach and national park. Would definitely come back if we had the chance.

Great place! Next to everything. Groceries, food, the beach. Can walk to all the great restaurants. The apartment was clean and modern. Looked right out to the jungle. Monkeys came to visit!

Recomendable

Casa cómoda y agradable para una larga estancia. Ubicado en una zona tranquila y céntrica para recorrer los diferentes parajes de Manuel Antonio y alrededores. La parcela es compartida con los dueños de la misma, pero da la sensación de estar solos. Son discretos y también amables cuando es necesario comunicarse para recibir información sobre actividades y visitas.

Cute little house close to everything!

The house was clean, the hosts were helpful and accommodating. It was a short walk into town to many restaurants and a grocery store, and a short drive to things like the national park and local beaches. Every morning between 5:30 and 6 we had monkeys in the trees that we sat and watched off the balcony. And the pool was a big plus. We all had a great time!

Awesome Deck

The house was very clean & neat. We loved our time on the deck with nature. Seen more animals from the deck than we did at Manuel Antonio National Park. Morning Coffee will never be the same. Thank You.

A Perfect Place!!!

Our stay at Milena & Alberto property was a perfect escape from the busy area. The hosts had excellent communication and took pride in their beautiful property. The location was near everything but a peaceful retreat. We had a car but walked to all restaurants and stores. The house was CLEAN, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The highlight was sitting on the back deck and watching the monkeys along with a toucan, parakeets, and iguanas. The pool was a refreshing treat after a long day of touring the area. We can't wait to come back!

Relaxing

The property is close to everything and super clean. The hosts are amazing so helpful. They arranged for our travel back to the airport. The balcony offered views of wildlife and the white faced monkeys were a treat and very entertaining. A great spot for a quiet getaway.

Excellent Property

Excellent property, visited by scarlet macaws, toucans, two types of monkeys and howlers near by. The hosts Milena and Alberto very kind and helpful but totally inobtrusive. Nice pool and four of the most friendly dogs. Grocery shops, bus stop and good restaurants with in easy walking distance. Spent excellent day in Manuel Antonio Park with host family plus their son ( Felipe ) a park ranger.

Great Place

The property was perfect. 2 bedrooms with a kitchen was just what we were looking for. The deck was great for watching the monkeys and parrots. The pool was perfect after a hot day of tours.The hosts were very helpful and also booked our excursions and transfers. Their van was clean, had WiFi and seat belts. It was walkable to a grocery store, restaurants and shops. I would stay here again!

Casa Tabacon

The guest house was clean, comfortable, had a well equipped kitchen, and was stylishly decorated for Christmas. We enjoyed the pool and lounge area. The guest house was closer to the host family's main home than I had assumed, but our host family was very respectful. Alberto was very responsive and helpful when the air conditioner stopped working in one of the bedrooms. We were woke daily by monkeys and we enjoyed watching them from our porch. We appreciated being within walking distance of the supermarket, and a short drive to the beach, restaurants, and provincial park. We enjoyed chatting with our host Alberto, and being greeted by his dogs. Leaving for excursions was a bot tricky as we didn't want to let the dogs out when we left. The property is gated, without a sign, or call button but the neighbour kids helped us call for the hosts to let us in upon arrival. Overall, we had a great stay at Casa Tabacon.

The Monkey Express!!

This property is beautiful, so many monkeys too. Super nice hosts. Also some other animals. Very safe. If I come back to CR I would go here again.

Outstanding property and location

I'm way overdue in posting this. But I stayed here with my family in July 2024. Hosts are very easy to work with and were very helpful with our arrangement. Locations i excellent - mid-way between Manuel Antonio and Quepos - after a few minutes walk to the bus stop, you can be at either location in less than 10 minutes. Within a few minutes walk there is a small supermarket and a few small cafe's. And within 15-20 minutes walk there are many other larger restaurants. House was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We LOVED the big window in the master looking out into the jungle. We saw monkeys and other animals up close there at the house. And the pool right there on the property was a HUGE plus. We spent time relaxing in the pool almost every afternoon after our morning activities. I can't wait to return. And I'd highly recommend this property if you're looking to do things around Manuel Antonio.

Absolutely incredible!

Truly made our trip that much better! The place was spotless and clean. We loved having the balcony that literally put you in the trees. Every morning we would hear monkeys and it was a delight! We went during the raining season and when it rained it was magical to sit on the balcony. There was a plunge pool and one day while sitting in the pool a monkey joined me on the other end! Incredible experience you won’t get elsewhere. We saw parrots and toucans we didn’t see at the national park! Walkable to shopping and restaurants. Would recommend driving to the beach. The check in process was a bit confusing so I wish we would have just worked it out prior to us leaving the US. The other thing is that it is a guesthouse with pets. We love pets, but just was a shock to us. Would book again!!!

Clean, modern, and lots of wildlife onsite.

I wish VRBO allowed for longer reviews, because there is so much good stuff about this place! Hosts: Alberto and Milena are there if you need them, but everything we needed was in the house. They have a separate house on the same grounds and in the morning or evening we would run into each other and chat. They have the friendliest and most well-trained dogs we have ever met. They were always so happy to see us when we returned after being out for the day. The interior space: Beds are comfortable and clean. I always check rooms for bedbugs, hair etc., not a single issue at this place. Each room has a fan and AC. It was amazing to be able to cool off on hot days, and sleep in a cool room. The house is very modern. The kitchen has an eating area, stove top to cook if you prefer to not always eat out at restaurants. Clean water. Fridge/freezer worked very well. There is a sofa to lounge on as well, which is quite comfy and brand new. Bathroom was clean and modern. All the tour operators know this place and will pick you up outside the gate for day trips. Alberto even arranged the whole Manuel Antonio Park experience for us. This space is also within 10min walking distance of all the best restaurants and grocery/convenience store. Lots of wildlife at the back deck: Macaws, Monkeys, Agouti, Parakeets, geckos. Pool was great in the evening to cool off. Outdoor shower/hose was great to clean off sand. Big gate for security with room to park inside. Awesome spot!

Great location

Perfect location. This was very walkable to shops and restaurants and just a short distance from the central tourist area by car. Loved waking to the howler monkeys and seeing monkeys in the back. The pool was also great. This was a great home base for exploring.

Trip of a lifetime!!!

We had the most wonderful time during our stay with Alberto and Milena! The house is surrounded by beautiful trees, so there is much wildlife to observe from the balcony. We could hardly pry ourselves away from the house because we were seeing so many animals close-up. We had monkeys come and visit our balcony and peek in our windows daily, a sloth that perched itself 15 feet away from us in a palm tree, and we also saw many birds including a toucan during our stay. The location is perfect, you can walk to many shops, restaurants and markets. Alberto and Milena were so easy to communicate with! They arranged our airport transfer, brought us to the beach, ordered our pizza for us (as our spanish is NOT good), and even drove us to La Fortuna themselves! Don't hesitate to book this property, you will not be disappointed. They made our trip unforgettable, and we would love to stay with them again someday.

Great place!

We really enjoyed our stay. Very nice, clean, and helpful host. The pool was a great place to chill at the end of the day. We arranged a tour of Manuel Antonio Park. Pick up at the house. Others picked up at other locations. We were dropped right at the park with our guide. Our group was about eight people. The guide was great! Highly recommended. The is a grocery store and restaurants a short walk from the house. Great stay!

Excellent Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Tabacon. The place was very clean, super comfortable and was well equipped with everything we needed. The location is great, just off the main road but within walking distance of a supermarket and several restaurants. There is secure off street parking. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and live in a separate house on the property in case there are any issues.

Great local spot

Albertos place is in a cozy interior neighborhood that's close to a market and Manuel Antonio. Great alternate to staying in a gated resort. The guest house is facing a ravine on the back side of the property, with a very nice and clean plunge pool, which we made good use of, and secure parking. We did see a bunch of monkeys on a rainy afternoon, and usually heard them on the roof in the morning. The guest house is clean and new and well equipped, with these minor caveats: bathrooom/shower could use a storage shelf. the lighting is a bit harsh with blue-ishg lightbulbs. Also, the key to the gate wasn't working so we needed to coordinate coming and going on a few occassions. Other than that this is a great spot for a unique and local experience. Its a very relaxing yet authentic Tico place and we felt lucky to have stayed here instead of a generic resort. Thanks Alberto!
