Our family reunion was awesome! After 5 years we celebrated Thanksgiving and made so many memories. The condo and cabin were perfect for everyone aged 2-78. Kitchen was good for big Thanksgiving meal prep. And bunks and games were perfect for kids. Thank you thank you!!!!

Family time

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was clean, well stocked and quiet. The views were beautiful. This house was a perfect fit for the 17 people we had staying there.

The location was amazingly and the lodge/cottage combination fitted our family reunion perfectly. The three main floor bedrooms housed first generation (age 88-94)with easy access to kitchen, living room and back deck. Our host purchased a commercial wheelchair ramp to accommodate a wheelchair and two walkers. Everyone had a bed to sleep in! The four restrooms ensured that there was always one available for the 21 people staying and 5 extras who came for dinner. We made good use of the grill and hot tub. We had a wonderful time together.

Great cabin for a family reunion

The cabin was perfect for our group. The kitchen was well stocked with everything labeled. The bathrooms were all well stocked. The hot tub was very clean. Great communication from manager. Our family had a great time at our reunion!

Our family stayed at this property with ample room to spread out. We loved our stay at this beauty cabin and found its location to Manitou very accessible. Manager was great to work with.

Picture perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay at Walton’s Mountain Lodge. My large family all got together for a reunion and have nothing but great things to say about this property. Everything was as advertised, the host was incredibly responsive to my 1000 questions and the location was perfect for my adventurous family. The kitchen was very well stocked with serve ware, spices, and appliances. The check in and check out process was easy. The host even mailed a priceless blanket made by my late mother that was left behind back to its proper home. Highly recommend this property!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this house and owner! We brought 19 family members to CO from MS for a family vacation and this house was perfect for our family! We ranged in ages from 4-70. The kitchen had everything we could have possibly needed. We ate many meals together in the house, and enjoyed the grill and back patio. Everything was super clean and organized! The beds were so comfortable and the showers were amazing! We enjoyed the game tables in the basement, and had several family corn hole tournaments in the front yard. The owner was so quick to respond to me anytime I had a question about anything! This property was the perfect place for our family vacation, and I hope we can come stay here again in the future!

Gorgeous location

We visited for a work retreat and the Walton Lodge was perfect for us. We enjoyed the scenery, got some work done, and enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen was well equipped. We wish we were staying longer!

Our family has enjoyed Waltons Mountain Lodge and Cottage for many years. The owner and his family live in Arizona. His three daughters “grew up” on the mountain when they were younger, living at the Lodge for 3-4 weeks during the summer and most Christmases. Although we are all grown with families of our own now, we all continue to visit the mountain and stay at the Lodge for a few weeks each summer so our children can experience the same joys we did on the mountain. When you send questions, inquiries and booking messages in the VRBO app, you are communicating with Caitlin who currently lives in Arizona with her husband and two children.

We are passionate about sharing the beauty of our property with others who wish to experience the beautiful Manitou foothills and look to provide quaint comfortable accommodations for any and all looking to explore the Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs area. We spend time sharing our mountain home with our growing families and making updates, both big and small to the property. Our property provides a unique experience to those looking to visit the area due to its location. This gives our guests plenty of privacy while also being located just minutes away from downtown Manitou Springs. Both our Lodge and Cottage provide a feeling of being fairly secluded in the mountains of Manitou Springs allowing for our guests to spend their days down in the city, and when that becomes too much, they have the option to retreat back up the hill to the privacy and quiet of the foothills.
