Good location for beach access, privacy & downtown amenities. Very clean & cute decor. Does list double futon but has a pull out couch bed instead. Stairs lead up to balcony so prepared for that. Will definitely book again!!

What a great space to stay in our first ever trip to Cannon Beach! Having the beach right outside our front door was amazing to look at and get to. We could walk right downtown to all the wonderful shops, coffees and foods.

Great view and location. Kitchen well equipped. Owners very nice and communicate well.Now the not great part: House has a lot of deferred maintenance as it’s quite shabby - chipped paint, worn out cabinets, musty smell, old carpeting. I tried to take a hot bath and there wasn’t enough hot water, though all we’d done is rinse dishes. We were expecting a lot more for this price range.

Perfect sunset viewing with a glass of wine and good friends. Location allowed the car to remain parked and could walk any and everywhere we wanted to go. Bakery for a treat and coffee, shopping for a few travel clothes for another trip, and just socializing the dogs because they are accepted in almost every store. It was a fabulous 3 day stay and the immaculate accommodations made it that much more enjoyable.

We love this place! We used to stay on the south end of town until we found this on VRBO. We stayed a few months ago and loved it so much that we booked it again right away. Our dog loves being right on the beach and my wife loves that she only has to walk around the corner to be at all of the shops. The house is clean and well kept. We will be back again soon!!

The property was not up to our standards. The cabinets were very cheap, the mattress in the guest room was old and sagged in the middle. Our friends were not able to sleep in the bed. We left after one night.

We had a fantastic stay at the Sand Castle! Great location, right in the middle of town and on the beach. The wild bunnies were a big hit with the kids! Arnold and Malia were super attentive and responsive. The house itself is very cute and kept very clean (unlike many other beach houses we have stayed at). This was our first time on the Oregon Coast and can’t wait to be back!

Beautiful spot and very convenient to both shopping in town and the beach. Plenty of room in the common area. Second story balcony provides a great view of the beach!

Cannon beach stay

Our stay was very nice. The VRBO needs a lot of updating. The carpeting, bathroom, bedrooms, and just general appearance of the VRBO is extremely outdated which makes it a less enjoyable stay. When a VRBO is designed and decorated in a warm and appealing manner, oddly enough, it can improve the experience that the renter has.

Malia was raised in Honaunau, Hawaii in a little town south of Kona. We love raising our daughter Pualani on the lovely Oregon Coast. Our business area includes Gearhart, Seaside, Cannon Beach & Arch Cape. We enjoy walking around the beaches year-round, swimming in the creeks during the summer warmer months, or surfing. Some of our favorite hiking spots are Oswald West and Ecola State Park from Crest beach to Indian beach. Everywhere we go we see someone we are connected to. From going to the post office, grocery shopping, having a meal, or just shopping. Which is why we started our business Kukui House Services here. Kukui means “light” in Hawaiian. Kukui “Light” House Services. We help owners with their rental or private home, and our guests so they experience a wonderful stay. Our clients tell us we are friendly, have quality cleans, and are responsive.

Sand Castle is a great family and pet friendly ocean front home in Cannon Beach. We love the laid back and relaxing feel of the home. The view is amazing!! Just steps to the ocean and Ecola Creek via a private walkway through the back yard. Our home is located in walking distance to all the great boutiques, restaurants, art galleries, and breweries in Cannon Beach, Oregon. The famous Haystack Rock is just a lovely stroll on the beach away.
