À PROPOS DE SPLASH BEACH RESORT
Les commodités du Splash Resort sont assez uniques parmi les centres de villégiature de la côte du golfe et il y en a pour tous les goûts. Il y a une piscine réservée aux adultes et un jacuzzi situés juste à côté de l'aire de jeux principale pour les enfants, où l'eau glisse et un énorme seau déversant des centaines de litres d'eau toutes les 45 secondes. Vous trouverez également un centre de remise en forme ultramoderne donnant sur la piscine et la rivière artificielle. Il y a un bar-grill au bord de la piscine avec des tables au bord de la piscine et un menu à prix raisonnable. Un accès Internet haut débit est disponible dans de nombreux espaces communs autour du complexe, notamment un salon Wi-Fi avec des sièges confortables. Great Condo

Kids loved all the pools and things to do. Adults loved that it was on the more quiet side of the beach. Washer dryer was a nice surprise. Be prepared to wait on the elevators. Security presence was welcomed. Pamela at the welcome desk was so nice and helpful.

The location is perfect and having the splash pad and pools for the little kids was great. The condo could use some TLC. There were extra blankets in the closet that were stained and dirty. The condo sleeps 8, but only contained 5 forks. No scissors and very minimal utensils for cooking. All of the remote batteries were dead, and there is a large crack in the kitchen tile. Our door code was not available to us for check in but we got a quick response with the code which was great. Overall, it served its purpose but would not stay in this specific unit in the future.

Spent most of our vacation waiting on elevators...

The condo was decent, there were a few things that should have been addressed but not enough to go into detail. The resort is very strict about guests which is understandable but would have been nice to know before hand . There are only 2 elevators per building and 21 floors so we literally waited a minimum of 15 minutes to a max of 47 minutes for an elevator. Not overly crowded, parking was fine. We made it work and enjoyed our stay.

The baby had a blast

We stayed at splash about 15 years ago with our kids and wanted to take our grand baby this year. We had hoped the elevator situation had been addressed but it’s still the same. They take forever so I recommend you stay on a lower floor so you can take the stairs a lot. Maybe we are a little spoiled but I’ve never stayed in a condo that has a full kitchen that didn’t even supply salt and pepper or soap for the dishwasher for at least one cycle since you’re supposed to load the dishwasher when you leave. They do supply a little bottle of dish liquid for the sink though. I don’t remember our last stay not supplying those things but I could have just forgotten. The beds in 403w are in dire need of new mattresses but we are old and our daughter in law is pregnant so we’re probably easily uncomfortable. You’ll have to drive for 20 minutes or more to eat anywhere other than McGuire’s Pub but it’s very good so we ate there multiple times. Other than these few minor inconveniences we had a great time. The manager is very easy to get an hold of and was a great communicator. Our grand baby loved everything and had a wonderful time, even our 22 year old daughter and her friend enjoyed the little water park and lazy river. They had a lot of fun playing with the baby in the splash pad. If you have kids they will love Splash. It’s a great place to stay despite the few minor inconveniences we had.

Great, on the beach location!

For context, we're a family of 5. Kids are 10, 6, and 2.5. My mom, dad, brother, and sister stayed with us as well. Area: This condo is great if you need other water activities aside from the beach. And for those that have to haul a million and one things, this location in right on the beach, so it's super easy and convenient. It's crowded, but folks are respectful and we had a great time. Elevators take an unnecessary amount of time, so rent low and take the stairs. Lots to do in the area as well. Condo: The condo itself is spacious, so there's room for everyone to relax. The balcony overlooks the beach for a beautiful view. Lots of space on the balcony enough for almost all of us to eat and/or drink coffee. Beds are a little firm, but sheets, pillows, and comforters are clean. Things that should be addressed: There were a ton of black spots on the ceiling that I'm praying wasn't mold that should be taken care of asap. Microwave vent cover kept falling off as did the dryer handle. The top bunk's guard rail is loose and needs to be tightened asap. I had my daughter sleeping up there and was a little nervous. More silverware should be provided (there was 1 spoon and a couple of forks). We ended up just buying our own disposable. Other amenities were great, all as outlined in description. Overall, really great place to stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice vacation in Panama.

Unit was nice, but the complex needs work

Things started off on the wrong foot and never recovered for us. We knew check in at 4pm would be crowded so we planned to arrive at 7pm. We had been in the car for 13 hours so when we arrived to our unit we were EXTREMELY disappointed to walk into a filthy room. We called house keeping and they said we would be in within 30/45 mins....well, that turned into 2 and a half hours later. Mind you, we have small children that do not stay up until 9:45pm. The unit itself was fine, I would suggest adding a pizza cutter and a bigger strainer, the one there holds about 1 cup. ---Be prepared to WAIT for everything....there are only 2 elevators servicing the entire building. --I spent an HOUR at the bar/grill downstairs waiting on nachos--they def need more than 2 people working what they consider the "restaurant". --the beach is so crowded. This unit did not supply the chairs for the week, which was actually a good thing because people put their personal chairs in front of them. We did rent the folding chairs and umbrella downstairs. The guys would set them up at the water....however, while we would be upstairs others would come and put their chairs right in front of ours, so instead of seeing our children playing, we looked at people's behinds the entire day... --the clientele during our week was questionable...we def felt like fish out of water. Because of this, we will stick to our usual 30A vacations. --and worth noting--there is only ONE boardwalk that is also a public Access for PCB and it's only stairs, no ramp...So, when the rain came rolling in, we would have to stand there waiting for people to get their shoes and such to walk in to stand in another LONG line to the elevators. --The floors are not numbered well. There is the G, L, then 1st, 2nd, 3rd...and so on. We thought being on the 4th floor would be fine if we had to use the stairs...well, it's actually 7 flights of stairs..Having 3 littles do that many stairs was too much. ---another reason we decided to stay here was for the water features. Just know if it's raining or there's thunder, they close the pools, they are covered, but do not offer protection from lightening. We will not be returning. Again, not necessarily because of the owners of our particular unit, but because of the Splash complex itself.

Sun and sand

The condo was clean, very nice. Nothing major wrong just main bedroom door to go to the balcony was very hard to open. And all smoke detectors in condo where disconnected. Pool was closed last day we was there due to heater issues. Kids where disappointed but beach made up for it.

We had so much fun at splash. The water park was freezing so we didn't even get in but they had plenty of pools and beach was perfect. The rooms were good, there were a good bit of lights out, the handle was missing on the dryer and almost no silverware. Other thank that it had everything we needed. We had a blast.

Broken items, gritty floor, dirty carpet. Could be super nice.. but needs some TLC bad. View is awesome. Location is great. Elevators are enough to keep me from ever going back to this resort. People waiting for over an hour to go up. I booked 4th floor because of this. Glad I did.

Checking in

Our Check in was awful. It was after 4 and I had text that it would be and no text was sent to me. We get there I a bad hip walk over the whole place and we finally call and they was like oh they have left. Then a text came thru with check in. was also a scam 30 cause I was sent a email about having a Permission form from a place call calypso tower. Which is so nice to lose 30 for nothing . Then hardly no forks. I know it’s limited but not with 5. Other then that it was good.

Great view and amenities were nice.

Arrived in the afternoon around 4 had easy check in. The kids were excited for the splash park. Pros: excellent view, nice water activities. Easy check in And check out. Great communication with property owners. Spacious room in the condo. Plenty of towels and sheets were nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay and would go back. Probably during off season due to the elevator issues noted below. Cons--- YOU WILL WAIT for an elevator sometimes it was 30mins+ just to get an elevator. Took the stairs several times but it was miserable with 2 kids under the age of 3. Unless you rent a umbrella and chairs there is very limited places to sit on the beach. Sit down restaurant eating os not close. You will have to drive through beach traffic to get there, remember it may take a while. We stayed in 403W nice but does need some updating with living room furniture. The sofa is a sleeper sofa but there were no sheet or blankets to put on it so we couldn't use it. Had to have kids sleep with adults due to the lack of bedding. The bathroom door by the bunk beds is difficult to close. It is a pocket door and it was too hard for the 7 yo to close. Don't go to watch TV... it was hit or miss with the TV channels. Some days you get certain channels and then the next day they change and you get totally different channels. But we managed to find something to watch with the kids. Thank you We will be back.
