unresponsive to telephone texting . they did answer my calls. the fellow sent out, Dan, was extremely polite and partially fixed television problems. televisions did not work properly. ceiling fans and window blinds/sills were filthy. trash can unwieldy. kitchen cutlery very dull. small futon in living room bolts falling out.... blah, blah, it is an older unit and shows its use. however, it did have wonderful hot water, a simple to use washer/dryer and ample room for the kids.

Excellent & relaxing

We love this beautiful beachfront home. We have stayed here a couple of times. It is nicely decorated, good bedroom/ bathroom spaces and wonderful kitchen. Many sitting areas, front porch, screened room as well as 2 sets of sliding glass doors making the living room an excellent sitting area with oceanfront views as well. Thanks Sharon for hosting us! We love your house!!

Nice Family Getaway

Our family was pleased with our stay.It was by far the least crowded beach that we have ever stayed at-very private! The house had all we needed and the short walk to the beach was a huge plus. I would definitely recommend to anyone that wants a quiet,private beach vacation.

Out of the way beach experience

Quirky Crab was ideal for us. Pet friendly, remote as in away from the usual beach scene. Short walk from rear deck to the beach, very private. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great stay at the Quirky Crab

We enjoyed our week on the beach. The house was very comfortable, clean and had a great view of the beach. The dog lived the fenced yard. We enjoyed several great dinners in the area as well as Apalachicola. Beach was beautiful. Hope to return in the future, Thank you

Relaxing week at the beach

We had an awesome, relaxing week at the Quirky Crab. The house was clean and up-to-date. The fenced in yard was great for our dog. Very few people on the beach even for a holiday weekend. Beautiful view! Would definitely stay again!

Relaxing days at the beach đŸïž

We love the Quirky Crab beach house and so did our pups,,, the house has everything needed for a fun beach getaway! We loved the sun deck, screened porch and the closeness to beach is priceless!! Love alligator point beach

This was our second summer to stay at the beach. My family loved the house and the location. I’m 81 and it was easy to take the steps. Will hopefully will return next summer.

Breath of fresh air!

House was very nice and clean. Plenty of space for our purposes. Very quiet and low key location. The deck and the view was amazing!!! Will be back!

Great Stay at Alligator Point

Everything was great about our stay at the Quirky Crab. This is a Quiet area of Florida with a beautiful beach and very cozy beach house. The owner is wonderful. Our Black Lab Bella loved her walks on the beach and the Ring Neck Ducks that winter in Alligator point. Thank you for sharing your beach house! We will be back.

Quiet!!

If you want quiet and no people around, this is the place for you!! Alligator Point is secluded from "town"! The only business is the Tiki bar open from Thursday-Sunday, and everyone goes there!! The property is nice, clean, and as advertised. Nothing fancy. Fenced in yard was great for the dogs! Beach is nice and great for walking and collecting shells! Thanks for a nice stay!!!

The perfect getaway

We had an absolutely phenomenal time. We pretty much had the entire beach to ourselves. We saw nurse sharks, pods of dolphins hunting on the beach and lots and lots of crabs. The house was clean and spacious and equipped with pretty much anything you need. Our host was very responsive and accommodating. We ate at the Tiki Hut, Angelo’s and Trident and they were all good with Trident being our favorite. We are already planning to come back later this year. Thanks for letting us stay and being able to make lifetime memories.

Where do you find 1 acre on the beach? One acre on the FAMOUS beaches of Alligator Point. We are not only known for our sugar white sand beaches, but also known for Blue Crab, Redfish, Tarpon, Trout, King and Spanish Mackerel and Famous Florida Pink Shrimp!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Come see for yourself! Privacy! Minimal tourist traffic! This area is known for Porpoises and Birds. Due to the unique cove-like area between 2 sandy points on Alligator Point, the Gulf out front is full of baitfish and shrimp which attracts plenty of Pelicans, Gulls and other birds along with multiple daily visits by the porpoises! Some days, its like having a front row seat at the Porpoise show at Sea World!
