Notre chalet, "Miller’s High Life", est situĂ© sur un terrain d'un hectare au bord de l'ocĂ©an avec environ un demi-acre clĂŽturĂ© pour que vos compagnons canins puissent marcher et courir librement. Cette zone de la pointe est appelĂ©e Mud Cove, oĂč la marĂ©e basse fournit une immense barre de sable pour les bombardements et la marĂ©e haute permet une pĂȘche exceptionnelle. Le chalet contient une grande salle qui comprend la cuisine, le salon et la salle Ă  manger avec trois portes coulissantes en verre offrant une vue panoramique sur l'ocĂ©an. Étape par les portes Ă  un porche d'Ă©cran pour profiter des levers et des couchers de soleil de votre balançoire. Le porche d'Ă©cran et la chambre Ă  coucher principale s'ouvrent sur la plate-forme pour prendre un bain de soleil avec un escalier de retour Ă  la douche extĂ©rieure d'eau chaude incluse. Hamac, table de pique-nique, balançoire et barbecue Ă  gaz sont sous la maison pour la cuisine et le divertissement en plein air. Planchers de bois raclĂ©s partout avec tapis de laine de Karastan dans la grande chambre des maĂźtres. Un 42 "Ă©cran plat T. est dans la chambre des maĂźtres et un Ă©cran plat de 46" T. V. est dans la grande salle. La moitiĂ© de bain attachĂ© Ă  la chambre principale avec salle de bain complĂšte dans le hall. La chambre "Minnie" a des lits jumeaux, un coffre, un bureau en osier et une chaise. MaĂźtre a un lit king, des tables de nuit, un petit coffre et une chaise. Deck a des bancs en teck, deux chaises Adirondack et deux chaises en bois. Pour le dĂźner, les adultes peuvent s'asseoir Ă  l'Ăźlot de la cuisine sur les chaises du directeur avec les enfants Ă  cĂŽtĂ© d'eux Ă  la table Ă  manger. Meubles de salon comprend un grand canapĂ©, futon queen, futon chaise avec repose-pieds, deux tables basses parfaites pour jouer aux cartes, un L. L. Lit de chien de denim de haricot, huche de porcelaine et deux chaises en osier pour s'asseoir si vous ĂȘtes mouillĂ© de nager. The cottage is perfectly clean and furnished with many cozy touches as well as beautiful art. Wendy is one of the most friendly and welcoming hosts of any place where we've visited. What we enjoy the most about the house is the location in a quiet, non-crowded area away from traffic, with only the birds and sea life surrounding us. The view of sunrise and sunset from the screened porch is beyond compare!

We loved everything about the property. Our favorite part was being able to sit out on the screened in porch, Looking out to the ocean. Sitting on the beach in front of the home is great. No one else was around but one other couple. The house is well stocked especially the kitchen. We used the gas grill every night. We went to My-way seafood in Panacea and purchased local fish, shrimp and spiney lobster. So good! Highly recommend them for fresh seafood. The house is well taken care of and very clean. Wendy is a wonderful, thoughtful host. Loved all the goodies she left for us. She communicated with us on everything we needed to know about the home very clearly. Easy check-in and out.Highly recommend Wendy’s place. We will be back.Thanks again! Adele & John

The Forgotten Coast

A cute and cozy cottage right on the beach. Perfect location. Fishing off the beach was great. Caught Spotted Trout, Whiting, Ladyfish and Sail Catfish. The cottage was spotless and nicely furnished and decorated. Definitely want to go back for another visit and hopefully stay for a couple of weeks. One week was just not enough.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful and peaceful oceanfront cottage! The views from the deck, screened porch, and inside the cottage were beautiful, as well as the sounds of the surf. We saw dolphins, pelicans, ospreys, ducks, and other shore birds. The place is so well appointed - we didn't want to leave. We planned to cook in since the kitchen has everything you would need, but we ended up eating out in Panacea instead since the food was so good. The bike path is also so convenient and fun. Communication was excellent. We can't wait to return!

Quiet perfection!

We have stayed with Wendy at her beautiful cottage four times now. That should tell you everything you need to know. We are dog lovers and Wendy has the perfect set up. Large fenced in yard dog bed and even dog friendly quilts. It is rural so you have to be ready to truly relax.

Peaceful Paradise

The cottage was perfect for our first "empty nester" vacation after sending the kids off to college. Ms Wendy provided thoughtful welcome gifts (eggs, muffins, jam, wine!) that were very much appreciated as well as the dog bed and beautiful quilts to keep warm in the colder months. I'm already looking forward to our next visit.

Loved it!

This home with its incredible view was one of the most comfortable, cozy cottages we have ever stayed at. Extremely well stocked with anything you might need. The screened deck with rockers and a swing was a great place to watch both sunrises and sunsets. A beautiful, natural location to unwind! Wendy was a great host - appreciated all the extras!

My husband and I bought this Cottage in 1996 as a weekend getaway. As native Floridians, we grew up spending many weekends and summers at the beach. Neither of us had a family home at the beach, so when we were afforded the opportunity to own a piece of Alligator Point, we were thrilled. My husband passed in 2020 from complications from COVID19, so now I manage the Cottage with the help of my daughter. The weight of the world lifts as you cross the Ochlockonee Bay Bridge headed to the Point. I am sure you will experience the same feeling; I welcome you to enjoy Florida's Forgotten Coast.
