Barbara was wonderful to us. We came from Michigan for the week and the weather did not comply but she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we could want or need. And because of her we were able to make the absolute best of our week. We like to travel all over Florida and to different areas, this was our first time in Bradenton but will not be our last and we will definitely be staying here again.

Served our needs just fine

Room is nice and clean with fun decorating. It's basically like renting a hotel room but with a better location. To be clear, you are renting an enclosed lenai at the rear of the host's home. It was fine for us but, if you need more privacy, it might not work for you. It's in a quiet residential neighborhood and close to the the beaches

Wouldn't change a thing!

I had a wonderful stay at Barbara’s private suite. It was immaculate, peaceful (pretty gardens!) and hosted by a lovely woman who cares that her guests are comfortable and at ease.It was serene and private. I loved having my morning coffee watching the butterflies in the garden and sitting by the pool.The location was perfect. A close drive to Anna Maria Island to watch the sunset as well as a short drive to golf courses.A 10 out of 10 and will be staying here again:)

Another wonderful visit to Barbara's place

This is our second stay at this beautiful property. Barbara is the perfect host, there if you need her and always thinking about your needs. The property is so close to AMI and is located in a lovely estate. We can't wait to return.

Private, clean guest room

Barbara is warm and welcoming. She delights in taking care of her guests, yet is not imposing. She offers a sweet, guest room with a very well-maintained private pool. The neighborhood is quiet yet the property is close to a grocery store, restaurants, post office, and the ocean. We felt safe. We enjoyed making lemonade from lemons from her trees!

Christmas Family Gathering

We were there to share Christmas with our 3 daughters and their families who were staying in a near by rental. We certainly enjoyed our time and the Host went out of her way to make our stay pleasant. Our only regret is that we did not get to say good-bye to her when we checked out.

Gem of a place

We spent 5 very comfortable nights here. Barbara is an excellent host and provided above and beyond what we expected to find in a rental in terms of everyday essentials. The studio itself is perfect for a couple with a very comfortable bed and reclining armchairs to watch TV. It was spotlessly clean. Table and chairs are available both inside and outside the studio and the pool area is an area of tranquility with a super clean pool surrounded by nature. The surrounding area is really peaceful and within a 10-20 minute walk you can be on the causeway or in a small marina watching manatees and Ospreys. Barbara is an excellent host and has created a beautiful space beside her house and takes pride in providing the very best experience for her guests. She is helpful and generous and we look forward to returning to explore more of the local area. The studio is in a great location approximately 5 min drive to supermarkets, restaurants, Anna Maria and local wildlife reserves.

Wonderful first experience in Florida

This was my husband and I's first time going to Florida together. We were not familiar with the area we would be staying in, but went based on recommendations of how great Anna Maria Island and the Bradenton area are. The location was incredible, with close access to the island and all other amenities we could think of. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. Our host was so kind to us throughout the trip, and provided great suggestions on local spots to hit. The suite was very private, clean, and quiet and had the incredible private pool. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again!

Lovely and relaxing

This is an awesome stay! Barbara sees that you are comfortable and can always be reached. Property backs up to a wooded area, hearing all different birds, seeing butterflies while listening to the waterfall in the private pool area. We will definitely stay again.

It was great! But..

We had a great stay! The place looked just as it was advertised and the pool was perfect. Everything was very clean and well kept. Barbara was easy to communicate with and did her best to accommodate our crazy flight schedule. She also let us borrow her beach umbrellas and chairs! However, we were a little surprised to find the suit is a remodeled sunroom that is attached to the house, they have curtains covering the sliding doors ( and windows) that attached the suit to their kitchen. I believe that should be listed in the description. We knew the listing said no visitors, but we assumed that meant overnight. We were bummed when they wouldn't allow my sister to have dinner with us and watch a movie.
