Home before our moving day!

This property was perfect for our family as we transitioned homes. Plenty of space for everyone as well as a FULLY stocked VRBO with all of the amenities you need to truly feel at home. Interaction with the property manager was timely and efficient as well!

Asheville Base Camp

We loved the property and the interactions with the host. Everything one could need was provided. We were 10 to 15 minutes away from all the attractions in Asheville and were on the same interstate exit as the Sierra Nevada Brewery and Restaurant. What a beautiful place.

Wonderful Townhome

Thanksgiving

Our family stayed here for Thanksgiving. There were 15 of us and it was just wonderful! Plenty of beds and bathrooms plus a fabulous garage game room. We have rented multiple properties in the past and this property was by far the best! It was very clean and better stocked than my own home. The owners were so kind and fantastic to work with. I highly recommend this property!

WOWed by this Home!

2nd time staying at this home. Every detail is thought of and the house well stocked and maintained. So many little details taken care of from coffee creamer to game packed garage. Such a wonderful home you don’t want to leave. The owners/ host were very interested in make our stay superb.

Best Short Term Rental

When I say that this was the BEST short term rental I have ever experienced, I am not exaggerating. The owners were extremely accommodating with easy communication. We had a large group for a soccer tournament in the area and we were provided with extra cots to give everyone a place to sleep comfortably. The residence was well stocked and felt like home. Our entire group had a great time!

The hostess was available and helpful during the booking process for questions. She was very friendly and accommodating! The townhouse was beautiful and fully stocked with necessities and snacks. She also gave us a heads up on a bear siting near the area. My family enjoyed their stay and look forward to booking again!

Overall our stay was amazing! This townhouse was everything we wanted and Sheila and her husband did a phenomenal job making sure we had everything. She even stocked our fridge with water, yogurt, muffins, and a little gift basket. Also, this place was extremely clean and organized, if that’s what you like. If anyone is looking for a place to book for a bachelorette/bachelor party, a family reunion, or a visit to Asheville, you NEED TO GET THIS PLACE!

Prayer Group Biltmore Trip

Our stay was more perfect than we could have ever imagined. Sheila and her husband were amazing hosts We had 12 ladies in the house and not once did we feel crowded, even with all 12 gathered in the living room for Bible study. The house was spottles and the beds were exceptionably comfortable, which is a huge plus when vacationing. Sheila's forethought in addressing any and every need for guests is unmatched. All that was left for us to do was relax and enjoy!

Family Birthday weekend

We visited Asheville to celebrate two family birthdays. We absolutely loved the house and also greatly appreciated the friendly, accommodating, communicative interaction with our hosts. I have had the pleasure of renting many homes through VRBO and the amenities of this home was very well done and organized. The layout of the home was fantastic for a large family and the location was very convenient. I can assure you that we will rent from this property again the next time we visit Asheville!

Great home, thoughtful host!

The property is incredibly well suited for groups. Sheila has created a perfect home to host family, friends or (in our case) multiple families. She has everything you could ever need in the kitchen, large living spaces to congregate, lots of toys, plenty of beds, and clean bathrooms! The listing was perfectly accurate, and the floor plan allowed us to map out room arrangements before arriving (a huge help with kids!). Sheila was also extremely communicative and accommodating -- even allowing us to check in early and check out late! She is simply lovely, and we had the best time at her property.

Absolutely wonderful!

We rented the house to celebrate an 80th birthday. Sheila was amazing to communicate with, she responded right away and was extremely helpful! The house is stocked better then my own, and I thought I was good. Bedrooms are set up perfectly, beds are comfortable and enough room that no one is on top of each other. I highly recommend to stay here!

Ideal Place for a Small Group

I work at a university in North Carolina and brought a group of five students to the Asheville area for a student learning experience. It was an ideal location and was convenient to every place we went in Asheville. Each person a had their own bedrooms, and it provided an ideal space for rest and reflection as a group. The hosts were superb at communication and checked in a few times to ensure we had all we needed. Our students also loved the game room and some of the snacks in the place! It was a great experience!

We loved our stay at the Eagle in Asheville. The property was perfect for our girl's trip to the Biltmore and fit the 7 seven of us perfectly. Everyone was very impressed with the accommodations. They also provided everything you could possibly need and were extremely organized. The game room was a great plus as well. The host Sheila was great! She was very helpful and accommodating to all our needs - communication was perfect! We would definitely book The Eagle again!

Graduation celebration

The Eagle was perfect for our gathering! 11 of us stayed here--we had plenty of room to gather with comfort. Everyone had their own space to retreat to. The beverage and condiments drawers--wow! We were so impressed by the detail of thoughtfulness provided by the host--beds were comfy, kitchen had everything we could need, the rec area in the garage was really well planned. We will return again and again!

Sheila and Brennen are the best, host! Property is very well maintained and nicely located. whenever we needed any help, they responded quickly. Sheila communicated all along with me on information. I spent a fabulous 3 nights with my friends at this property. Property has plenty games equipment for guests of different agae group. A big kudos to the host!

Attention to every detail!

This property was pristinely clean! Plenty of towels and blankets, pillows, many extras in the bathroom, and a fully stocked kitchen with everything you could need, and then some! The game room was really fun! We were in town for a wedding and had plenty of space for our large group. Beds were comfortable too! There’s nothing I could say negative about this unit. It’s highly recommended, and I would rent it again as well as rent any unit from this owner!

We have called Asheville home since 2005. We love it here because even though we are surrounded by 4+ acres of trees, creek, ( and bunnies, foxes, deer and every once in a while a bear) we are 2 minutes from shopping and restaurants and super centrally located. We've always loved hosting guests and meeting new friends. Brennen is a landscape painter and Sheila loves to read, sit in the hammock and pursue creating the world's most perfect lawn. We look forward to having you here!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Centrally located, yet private, Asheville Retreats is nestled on 5+ acres in south Asheville. This 3300+ open floorplan townhome is located at the end of our private road. Our 4 townhomes (2 AirBnBs, 1 longterm rental and 1 owner occupied unit) are the only ones located on our private drive. The 4+ acres are peaceful and full of wildlife.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The Asheville area has many beautiful vacation rental options, however, many are corporate run. We live in one of the other townhomes on-site and are able to provide exceptional service and attention to detail that a corporation cannot. Ever go to a vacation rental and feel like you need to bring your own kitchen knives? We stock this home as though our good friends were coming to stay. We have to a "leave the whole box" philosophy. Rather than providing two trash bags, we leave the whole box. It's the little things that make all the difference: kitchen basics like soaps, cooking oils, spices, fruits and snacks. Laundry basics like detergent, fabric softener, stain spray, and ironing spray. Travel basics: sewing kits, first aid kits, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrushes, floss, razors, feminine products, makeup remover wipes, advil, pepto, benedryl, lip balm and more. We stocked this house with the things we would want when we go on vacation. We've found that, without exception, our guests have returned the courtesy; using what they need and leaving what they don't. Kinda restores your faith in humanity, right? :)
