Une location bien-aimée chez Outer Banks, Sandcastle est idéalement située à Southern Shores, à quelques minutes en voiture des restaurants et des boutiques Duck et Kitty Hawk. Le décor de plage funky donne à cette maison une sensation unique.
À l'Ă©tage principal, il y a le salon / cuisine avec une tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plat, 4 chambres (1 Queen, 1 Double et 2 avec Twins) et 2 salles de bain (baignoire et douche). Au niveau infĂ©rieur, il y a une taniĂšre avec un futon double, une tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plat, une salle de bain complĂšte avec une douche sĂ©parĂ©e (pas de baignoire) et une buanderie. EntrĂ©e sĂ©parĂ©e en bas. Pas d'escalier intĂ©rieur.

The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed, in the kitchen, which I appreciate. We especially appreciated so many showers. I liked the outdoor option best! The walk to the beach was quick, but we always carry a lot of stuff with us, so our last time, we shuttled our things over/back. We really enjoyed this exact spot on the beach, because it was more sparcely peopled than in either direction. Maybe we just got lucky. ;) overall, a great stay! Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay! It was perfect for our family of 4. We were easily able to walk to the beach. We enjoyed eating out on the screened in porch. The home was clean! And communication was wonderful!

We already booked next summer at this gem! The location couldn’t be better. You can walk into Duck in under 20 minutes, the beach is a super short walk down the street, and the house has everything we needed for a great time.

Can't say enough good things about this property!!!

This was our 6 year staying here. My family absolutely loves this place. A very short walk to the beach, always clean, and the best is you have a traffic light to get out onto the main road. Such a short drive to Duck for the famous Duck Donuts. Will be staying here again.

Nice spot for a family vacation

This place was a great location for us. The beqch is a short walk and the beach wasnt crowded! I like that there is a stop light off the main road, it helps with the traffic from Duck. Duck is a very short drive and Currituck lighthouse and 4x4 driving is just 25 to 30 minutes north. The house layout is great for our separate families with different bathrooms and bedrooms on each end of the house. Thank you for having us!

Enjoyed everything inside and outside of the house. The home was very cozy. We loved the central location of the great room, kitchen and outdoor enclosed porch. Having two bedrooms on both sides of the great room separated families. Having a Jack n Jill bathroom on both sides of the house was wonderful. This set up allowed them to use the bathroom products they liked. There never was a wait for showering. The other two bedrooms on the opposite side was popular to the six year old bed time and grandparents. The kitchen was fully stocked with enough dishes, bowls, silverware and any necessary cooking tool or pot and pan. The outdoor shower was handy. Everyone used it after returning from the beach. It was nice having warm water. We put a bottle of body wash out there to clean off with and clean bath towels to dry off with and head upstairs wrapped in a towel to get dressed. No sand to deal with and time saved in the bathroom. Beach chairs, toys and games were plenty. We had our own beach umbrellas that we brought and same with beach towels. There are several umbrellas available but we could not find the poles that match. The washer and dry was a handy and must feature. No one went home with dirty laundry. The games available to play were enjoyed by the ages of the kids. The 48 piece dog puzzle became a challenge. Everyone did it by themselves.They were timed and after all 8 of us did it without watching the other our winner 7mts

Overall quiet and comfortable. Some items were missing but most were provided within a day or two. Close to beach. Side roads were hard to see after dark. Grocery stores and restaurants were fairly close.

Great location

Great location not costing an arm and leg!! Nice quiet neighborhood away from, but still close to the hustle and bustle of the commercial tourist area. Easy walk to the beach.

Great Week

We had a great week at the Sandcastle. We enjoyed how close we were to the beach which really helped with having small children. The beach was not crowded which was also nice. The house had everything we needed. Very close to the town of Duck. We saw deer in the yard daily. We will come back when we get the opportunity.

Vacation at Sandcastle

The house is very comfortable and well set up for families. Location is great with an easy walk to the beach. I would recommend a new propane grill. Owners are very responsive when contacted. Overall a great week at the beach.

Good times

We all liked this place and will be staying here next time we come back. Liked the layout of the house. Nice short walk to the beach. We have stayed down in nags head and kill devil and this location seemed less busy and noisy.

Restful and relaxing at OBX

Quiet location away from the crowds and noise. friendly community. Deer walk through the back yard. House feels like a home, as owner used to live there and kept many of those decorations there. Plenty of room, well stocked kitchen, clean. Screened side porch for eating outside without bugs. Restful, relaxed stay. Perfect.
