Une superbe cabane en rondins vient d’être mise à jour (le 4/1/19 achevée) et elle est incroyable - nouveau porche avec moustiquaire offrant une vue imprenable sur le lac Norman, bain à remous ajouté, 400 m² d’espace familial ajouté - nouveaux planchers de bois franc à niveau inférieur et ouvert avec beaucoup de fluidité!

Location de vacances à long terme revenant avec un nouveau propriétaire et gestion en 2018. Emplacement, emplacement, emplacement, cette magnifique cabane en rondins est idéalement située sur le lac Norman, à 15 minutes de Mooresville, Davidson et Cornelius.

Amenez votre famille et vos amis dans cette cabane en rondins de 6 salles de bain nichée sur environ 1 litre et demi, idéalement situé. Grande cour arrière, foyer et quai couvert, parfaits pour les réceptions en plein air.

The backyard was AMAZING! We played ultimate frisbee, corn hole, and soccer! The dock was great and swimming off the dock was perfect! Very quiet location, no boat traffic and easy to get to main channel of lake. Property was very well stocked! Lots of fans if you need them to sleep, but AC kept house cool. Hot tub was great, lots of indoor games provided. Would definitely recommend staying here and we will be back for sure!

Property was great, water was still deep enough to bring our pontoon and a ski Nautique and keep at the dock. Great little cove and easy access out to lake. House was great and we filled it with our group. Had plenty of cooking utensils and love the double oven as we are a cooking family. There was a bad storm after couple days of being there and lightning took out hot tub and well pump...host was very responsive and handled promptly along with compensation for our troubles even though you can't control an act of God! Overall is was just what we wanted, peace and quiet lake setting with great outdoor space for big family.

Hands-down, a fantastic rental!!! The host is friendly, communicates promptly, and answered every single question we had!! Even went and measured the water at the dock for us during the drought before we arrived!! The house is fully stocked. The pier was very accessible for both boats that we brought to be parked. The cove to the house was very nice. We were able to swim at the end of the dock. We all enjoyed the kayaks and playing games! I have nothing negative to say at all about this house, stay or vacation! Would 1000% rent again! Great/Amazing host!!!

The screened in porch off the family room was everyone’s goto area for cards and games around the table with the view of the lake. At night the sounds of the tree frogs and crickets made it such a peaceful place. The cove leads out to a wider cove where we tubed without all the boat traffic on the main channel. Stutts marina was just a short boat ride from there for gas. It is also super close to many grocery stores which we got delivered a few times to avoid leaving and many restaurants too! If we decide to do another Lake Norman family vacation next year, this will be the place we stay again.

There was plenty of room for all 13 of us to spread out, plenty of plates/silverware/glasses, and the ping pong table was a hit. It wasn't far to a few restaurants and grocery was just a few minutes away. The host was quick to answer any questions. We enjoyed our stay!

We rented the property to be in North Carolina for our daughter's wedding, along with guests who were staying with us. When we arrived, the home exterior seemed "tired" and the front porch and railing, as well as the back porch and riling were in great need of sweeping and spider web cleaning- which I did clean myself. And on the back deck was a dirty ashtray- and none of us are smokers. The grill was covered, but was in really bad need of cleaning before use- which one of our guests spent an hour cleaning. The kitchen was obviously updated, but the were two bulbs out in the ceiling light over the island, and could not be replaced, and one of the two bulbs over the kitchen sink was about out, so we changed both and cleaned the very dirty glass pendants. So, the kitchen was a little darker than if the lighting was in good repair. The oven underneath the counter was so gross we put a sticky note on the door saying "do not use". The oven in the island was better, but still in bad need of cleaning. The two dining areas provided ample seating. The ceiling light over the dark staircase to the upper floor was out. The worst was the daily, scary, lights flickering along with a buzzing sound. Then afer day two of our stay, the lights would flicker, buzz, then go out. Last day there-fixed!The chairs in the small pavillion on the dock were well speckled with bird doo, so we covered them with the bech towles so we coukd sit out there- they would do well with seat covers.

Thank you for your feedback, Elizabeth. I have to admit, I feel that this review is rather unfair. We did have an ongoing electrical issue during your stay, and while I completely understand that to be frustrating, this review fails to mention how tirelessly we works to remedy that. We had electricians, the power company, and property management out to the house multiple times, in an attempt to fix it, which we finally did. You complain that it was on your last day at the house, but this was not as if we ignored the issue until your last day. If we could have figured out the issue sooner, we would have fixed it sooner. We did the absolute best we could, but it wasn’t an obvious fix and took some troubleshooting to finally correct. I also personally made a trip to the house to change two light bulbs you mentioned when I said I would, and you told me guests were napping in that area, that it wasn’t a big deal at all, and that you would be happy to have someone change them. Both outdoor areas you mentioned were swept, cleared of spider webs, and scrubbed of bird poop prior to your visit, but they are outdoors, and given that it is fall, we cannot prevent leaves from continuing to fall or spiders rebuilding their webs, nor can we keep birds away after our cleaners leave. No one ever mentioned the ovens not being cleaned satisfactorily, and had they done so, I would have sent someone to remedy that, as I did for the electrical issues. We make it a point to be very responsive for any issues we are made aware of. I spent some time at the house and met many members of your group while we were there fixing the electrical issue. There were ample opportunities to mention other issues, but no one did. We absolutely take responsibility for correcting cleaning issues if they arise, but I do not think it is fair to portray the house as generally unclean…it wasn’t. In a private email you sent after posting this review, you made a point of complimenting my quick response and efforts to help, but chose to only mention the negative in this public review. Perhaps you do not realize that VRBO is simply a marketing platform that has nothing to do with this house or my small business. I can understand feeling frustrated by our electrical issues, but from our encounters with you and your family, and from the happy times I saw them having together, I am surprised by your lack of grace and negativity shown in this review, clearly meant to hurt someone. Based on the email I received from you apart from this review, I’m going to hope that it was not your intention to hurt me or my small business personally, but I need for you to know that that is exactly who you hurt with reviews like this one, so I can only hope you feel better.

Christmas reunion at the lake!

Amazing property! My family and I had a wonderful time at this amazing house. Lakeside fires, plenty of space and games all around. Kitchen was big enough to cook for all and room to relax when done. Property management was attentive and responsive. A Christmas tree was even set up!!! We will be back.

New Years Annual Getaway

We are 4 families who are friends/family and spend every New Year/holiday season together. Usually, we are in NY or FL, but this year we decided to meet in the middle. We happened to fall upon this house when we were searching and it fit all of our needs. However, once we arrived, it exceeded our expectations. The house is stunning and we enjoyed every moment spent there. So happy we got to stay here!!!

Large family vacation

Great location for quick access to shopping and renaissance fair. It had all the most importance features for us…pool table, hot tub, large functional kitchen, and fire pit with WOOD…. Driveway/parking not an issue with our 5 vehicles. I would recommend sound machines for sleeping… especially if you are in the downstairs bedroom.

My family enjoyed our week at this property. It accommodated our large group more than adequately. There is a nice assortment of deck areas with lovely views of the dock and the beautiful lake. The large lawn insured privacy and a place for outdoor activities. All in-house amenities were well provided for. In addition, the Property Manager was exceptional in that she responded quickly to the concerns we had throughout the week and was quite pleasant to deal with. The reason for the 4 stars was the presence of pests in various rooms of the house over the course of the week and dust on the shades in a few bedrooms which was something we would not have expected.Overall, a pleasant vacation.

Thank you so much for your feedback. I always appreciate suggestions, as we are always looking for ways to improve upon our guests’ experience. As we discussed, being in a lakeside environment, we are subject to pests that call it home. Our quarterly pest control treatments ensure that pests do not survive once they enter the home, so finding the occasional dead bug indicates that it is working. I understand they are unsightly though, and we do apologize for that. I will of course pass along all issues to my cleaners, as they are quite conscientious and are quick to remediate anything missed. I assure you it was not intentional. Queen's Cove Treasure

We loved everything about staying at this property. We had young children, tweenagers, teenagers, young adults, and adults and this property met the needs of everyone. It was beautiful, close to everything, had an amazing kitchen, we loved the zero entry into the lake, the gazebo with a fan by the water, the beds were comfortable, the air conditioning was the best we've ever had, and much more. The management company was easy to work with and addressed the issues we had promptly. We've stayed at Lake Norman summer after summer and we finally found a property we will return to!

It was overall good. A circuit in the house tripped and wouldn’t come back which was a little frustrating and disappointing. They had corn hole but one bag is torn so only 3 bags for that color. Otherwise everything was great and as listed.
