16 minutes from Beaches

If your looking for a place to stay at home away from home this is the place. Beaches are so close! The customer service was excellent. Our requests were responded to immediately .The place was so clean and so comfortable, fenced back yard with a nice patio and lighted seating area. Just perfect for the price.

The home was perfect. I would have preferred a roof over the patio instead of tarps, we could not enjoy it for the rain, but it was great the first night. l loved the kitchen and the dining room. Keep up the good work !

Exactly what we needed

This place worked well for our visit. We are family, but liked two rooms with two toilets (one shower is fine). There were small things to check on with the host and they were responsive; the host and multiple partners/assistants. The neighborhood is residential and quiet, but near the main drag and a close drive to the beach.

Restful Place!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Pedro and his team answered all questions quickly and even came by to make sure that we got checked in and had no problems. I couldn't have asked for a nicer host! The property is old, but renovated very recently. so it has a cleam modern "feel" to it.

Home base for a few days.

The home was very welcoming and adequate for our needs but could use some updates. The only real concern was the master bed, which caused us to roll to the middle. The neighborhood was very quiet and pleasant.

Excellent stay at Mermaid Cove

We were in Palm Bay to visit our son and family and see the grandkids in a Rogers and Hammerstein production of Cinderella. Our stay was wonderful. The house was perfect, had everything we needed. The furnishing were fine and bed was comfortable. We slept very well. It's a very quaint house in a quiet neighborhood which was perfect for us. We paln on staying here again we we come to visit, Only thing I struggled with was the low mirrors in the bathroom when shaving, LOL. I am 6'3" so had bend to see my face. Not a major issue but was kinda funny. Highly reccomend this house and the management!

I think its time to replace the mattress in the master bedroom was very worn out in the middle

The house was nice but the bathroom floors should be cleaner and the master bedroom mattress should be replaced it has like a sink hole in the middle of the mattress.

Enjoyable relaxing weekend in Melbourne.

Our trip to Melbourne was a very pleasant one. The highlight was the excitement of watching the rocket launch from the beach which was just minutes away. It was amazing!!! The stay at your home was very inviting. The kitchen was well equipped, thank you. The overall decor was nice. The bed was very comfortable. The instructions every step of way was clear. Clean place. Stove top burners was a bit awkward to cook on, but doable. Good restaurant selections nearby. Night stroll to nearby downtown was very pleasant. We will be back. After all, we need to come back for another ping pong match. Fun addition to the stay!

Mixed experience, likely will not choose to stay here again.

Very spartan in terms of utensils, dishes, kitchen must haves, etc. Very few dishes, drinking glasses, etc. Bed in master was horrible to sleep on. Huge back aches every night and morning. Many necessities not present after arrival such as kitchen towels, grill charcoal & utensils, Kleenex, and more. Most all pots and pans were old, cheap quality, and heavily stained in unsightly ways. The outdoor charcoal grill was horribly filthy, so much so that it was repulsive and unusable. A huge dissapointment. Had TV service start up issues that wasted hours of vacation time due to get ready service not having cleared past guests logins into the YouTubeTV service. I could go on, but will end by saying that considering the high nightly rate charged, it was far from a fair value.

Great Stay at The Mermaid Cove

We enjoyed our month long stay. We had the access code to get in. We did not have any problems, so we were not in touch with the owners. I gave a three as we never heard from them. It was nice having a big kitchen to cook there and not have to eat out. Adequate pots and pans, cooking utensils and pretty set of dishes and glasses. There was a toaster oven, but would have loved a regular toaster. Many Spices in cabinet and coffee pot and coffee provided, although we are not coffee drinkers. Tea bags were also in the cabinet. The bigger bedroom was nice with the extra 1/2 bath. The bed was not as comfortable. It had a foam topping and we felt like we slid towards the middle. It might just need some deep pocket sheets. The other bed was comfortable. Nice comforter and pillows. If you are staying long, bring extra towels. There were beach towels provided, but we did not find the beach chairs that were shown in the closet. Comfortable furniture in the living room. Book said use coasters. We did not find any there, but bought a set to use. Nice TV's. Nice bonus room , lots of storage, with ping pong table. Very Nice Neighborhood. The only problem we had was a neighbor behind played loud music alot. But this was not the fault of owner. We enjoyed ourselves and felt safe there.
