Cette cabane en rondins de luxe fait partie d'une ferme de 25 acres nichée à flanc de montagne privé dans les Smoky Mountains de la Géorgie du Nord, dans le comté de Rabun. Vous serez à quelques minutes du lac Burton, du lac Rabun et du lac Seed et à seulement 2 miles du parcours de golf Kingwood. Vous serez à seulement 7 miles du rafting et du kayak en eau vive de classe mondiale sur la riviÚre Chatooga et vous serez entouré de milliers d'acres de terres du US Forest Service. Vous trouverez l'artisanat et l'art des Appalaches à 5 km du centre-ville de Clayton. Profitez de la vue sur la Caroline du Nord, la Caroline du Sud, le Tennessee et les Great Smoky Mountains ou le large ruisseau et les ponts couverts dans la vallée ci-dessous. We stayed here with a group of teenagers for our daughter’s birthday celebration. The property was beautiful, the farm animals were fun to watch. We enjoyed the privacy so the kids could talk on the porches, and we loved the fact that the loft was full of beds, so nobody had to feel left out. The kitchen was stocked with a variety of tools and some spices. Plenty to do nearby, quick access to grocery stores and great hiking/swimming. We would stay again!

Such a lovely escape! Amazing views, so peaceful and away from it all while being conveniently close to dining and shopping. No shortage of great trails within 15-20 mins. Our 5YO was obsessed with the hammock, so much that we installed one this week :)We will be back!

Beautiful location with a wonderful deck and view. Owner was pleasant and easy to work with.Because of location and time of year, there were loads of cobwebs all around the house and some inside.Inside of house was mostly clean but grill was not usable due to mold.We very much enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Stay at this Beautiful Property !We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home with amazing mountain views and hope to come back again. It was so peaceful, private and in a nice location plus watching the farm animals close by from the porch was super — especially for our 5 year old grandson. The owners are quite thoughtful with nice touches like labels for light switches, making coffee available along with a kitchen full of dishes pots and anything needed to cook at home, paper towels and hair dryers, rocking chairs, blankets, all making this a wonderful home. One of a kind and we already miss it!

We had a lovely weekend getaway. Check-in was super easy (all keypad entries.) The view was spectacular. Staying on a working farm was interesting - so fun to watch the cows, goats, pigs, chickens, and dogs!.

Breathtaking views over the farm

Our family rented this beautiful cabin for our son’s 6th Birthday. He wanted to stay in a cabin on a farm! This checked every box for the adults and kids. We had fun exploring and seeing all the cows, pigs, chickens and goats! Todd and his wife showed us around the farm and were amazing. We bought farm fresh eggs from them and went to their yummy boiled peanut stand! Overall a wonderful experience!

Birthday Celebration

For the second time, friends gathered for a milestone birthday at Mountain Creek Lodge. We love this location with plenty of single beds, a large dining table, and a big balcony overlooking the mountains and farm below. We are outdoor lovers and spent time out on the balcony and enjoying nearby hiking. We will be back.

Wonderful Stay

We had a great stay at this property. The view is amazing and we loved the farm setting. It’s a great setup to sleep a good number of people and has a great common area for family meals and being together. We brought our two dogs who also loved their stay. I would recommend to anyone looking for a casual cabin getaway.

Lovely Mountain Homestead

This place was great. A nice scenic drive up to the front door with a great view out over the mountains. When we arrived the sun was just beginning to set and it was gorgeous. We brought a group of friends up for a total of 7 people. The place could comfortably hold double. The house itself has plenty of room, multiple places to relax and enjoy yourself. My wife loved the animals and taking a short walk around the property, I myself enjoyed a deep soak in the very big very deep jetted tub. Honestly the pictures don’t do the place justice with how great it is especially for a medium to large group!

Annual Family Vacation

This property was just as advertised. It is excellent for family vacations. Convenient to Clayton and all it has to offer as well. The property has a large open area that is great if you have children.I would recommend it to anyone needing space for their vacation.

Great Mountain Stay!

My family stayed in this cabin over Thanksgiving break and it had everything we could hope for. Plenty of room, a large, fully stocked kitchen, and farm animals to pet and play with!

My family developed the nearby Mountain Creek Estates subdivision and saved a wonderful 10-acre lot for ourselves. It borders a rushing creek and has fabulous views. All thoughts of building on our lot went out the window when we discovered this property which was being sold by Coca Cola heiress Frances Woodruff - known locally as 'Mrs. Tut.' As a part-time realtor, I see a lot of properties, but the views from the porch of this cabin and the tranquility of the farm cannot be beat!

This property high up on Tut's Mountain was formerly the petting zoo of Coca Cola heiress Frances Woodruff. Remnants of the bear den, eagles' lair and other artifacts still can be seen. Neighbors graze their cows, goats, pigs and chickens in our pastures. The Town of Clayton has the feel of stepping into a Norman Rockwell painting to a quieter, gentler time when people had time to chat & share recipes in shops. We are within 4 miles of a variety of restaurants, shops, grocery stores, Home Depot and a Walmart Super Center.
