We had a great time! Perfect spot. Great location for restaurants and the night life. It has its own shared parking garage that comes with a fee of 15/day but worth it rather than trying to find a parking spot on the street. Francisco the property manager met us and went over everything. Everything was great! Would highly recommend this place.

Nice place to be, closed to S. Catarina Road. Just the doublebed is to small for 2 adults. The other sleeping couches are uncomfortable.

The bed are standard dimensions like published. And you didn’t asked to prepare a second bed or the sofa bed!!! You do you know they are uncomfortable???

Fantastic place to stay.

Francisco is very communicative and check in was simple. He had all the documentation ready and the apartment was in excellent condition. He had a list of sites to see and was able to coordinate tours and even breakfast. The unit itself is within walking distance of almost everything I wanted to see. I'd stay here again were I going back to Porto in the near future.

Best place to stay in Porto

Francisco is a fantastic host with a very sweet, spacious and immaculate apartment within walking distance to everything you could ask for- food, shopping, restaurants; cafes and more. We loved our stay and found the apartment was perfect in every way. Francisco picked us up from the airport and drove us directly to the apartment. We also took a tour of the city with him which we highly recommend. Porto is a fantastic city and we saw more on this tour in one day than we could in five days, worth every penny. Thank you Francisco..

This apartment is not a 9 score one. We stayed with our young kids, 5 and 2 years old for 3 days. The apartment is old and needs refurbishment. If you are 4 pax, the ones sleeping in the living room will suffer from a lot of noise from the street as the windows do not isolate well. Also the elevator makes a very loud noise. The house is not fully equipped (no washing machine and dishwasher). No heating system in the living room (but thank god the weather was nice this Easter). A new broom would make no harm also. Pillows were horrible to sleep and to use the terrace it would be nice to have more comfortable furniture. On the positive note, Francisco was always available, the house was clean and the location was great. But, for Porto standards and seeing how the quality of accommodation has increased, this apartment needs a lot of improvement.

This comment is unfair, especially coming from a colleague of profession. Nowhere does it say there's a washing machine or dishwasher, I don't understand why you mention it!!! The apartment is on the fourth floor, luckily we have an elevator in the building, which is a plus, all elevators are a bit noisy. The windows are new, double-glazed, soundproof, but some noise always gets through. The pillows are new. There are two brooms in the apartment, one large and one small!!! You just need to look a little around. The apartment has new air conditioning and heating in the living room, how is it possible to say it doesn't!!!! I don't understand this comment. You forgot to mention that you broke the bed, right at check-in the children were jumping on the bed.

Clean, comfortable and conenient.

Helpful hosts gave helpful information for restaurants, events and sites complete with a map marked appropriately. Apartment is big and appears same as. pictures. Too bad it was too cool to use the terrace. Convenient location near dowtown core and metro. Would recommend. On 4th floor with an elevator. Which was handy because, like everything in Porto, it is located up a hill.

Driving in Porto is crazy, leave it to the pros and Uber Drivers. We were able to leave the rental parked safely for 3 days and enjoy the town Francisco was much better than me with the communications. I did pick up a Portugal eSIM which was cheap but my home SIM was shut down in the process. I should have met up with him on WhatsAp and it would have made things smoother on my end. The property is an easy walk right down to the water. You can meander easily down and then just hop a Uber back up on a hot summer day for €5 enjoying the port and sangria during the day.

The best location in Porto

After spending hours upon hours searching for the perfect suite for our 20 days stay Were very glad we pick francisco suite. Booking online was simple, checking in went as planned. Francisco arrange a secure parking spot for our car Right next door for the entire time ( Parking for a Fee ) One little misunderstanding the listing shows a tumble dryer we assumed a washer was there But no laundry facilities so we did have to walk a few blocks to do our laundry. The Terrace is amazing sun starts to hit it around 10:00am and stay until sunset over the neighbouring building. A previous review mentioned lounge chairs unfortunately there is only a bistro table and two chairs. Proper lounge chairs would be a marketable improvement . We would absolutely recommend this suite to our friends and future guests. you will love the location.

Not for the stereotype tourist

The location is ideally close to all areas of Porto worth visiting, and being on the top floor gives a beautiful, panoramic view of the town. The typical tourist who goes to restaurants for every meal and enjoys the night life will find this apartment excellent. However, for us, it turned out that it was not the best place to stay for several reasons: 1. Kitchen utensils are few and insufficient to cook with. We don't ever eat out, and enjoy cooking our own meals, and the following items were not provided: a cutting board, a can opener, a working cheese/fruit vegetable peeler, a colander, at least one sharp knife to cut meat, tall glasses for cocktails, larger pots and frying pans. Also, the kitchen sink drain tends to leak water on the floor at the bottom of the drain pipe. 2. The bed in the main room is too short for anyone above average height, as myself, and pillows are too small. 3. The elevator produces loud noises every time it starts and stops; at night it is very bothersome for people who want to sleep at night, instead of being out on the town for activities. Also, neighbor dogs bark at various times of day and night. Mr. Urbano has been extremely helpful in offering a ride to and from the airport, and for providing many useful tips to make our stay as pleasant as possible. All in all, this apartment is well suited for most everyone, but not perfect for a mature couple who enjoys a home away from home.

Petit bémol pour la climatisation qui faisait du tout ou rien et seulement dans une pièce, les draps tâches (même si lavés et repassés) , mais surtout le bruit de l'ascenseur (à 6h30 le matin ça réveille) et de la circulation (route très passante même la nuit) bien que l'immeuble soit calme.Toutefois Appartement bien situé (attention ça grimpe) fonctionnel. Arrivée et départ sans problème. Petit tableau d'affichage avec bonnes adresses.

Excellente semaine dans cet appartement.

L'appartement est idéalement situe en plein centre de Porto, à 200 mètres de la rue la plus commerçante et du métro qui permet de rejoindre les autres quartiers ,la gare , même la plage et l'aéroport. Nous avons apprécié cet appartement spacieux et fonctionnel et nous avons adoré la grande terrasse pour se reposer prendre l'apéritif et manger. Il ne manque rien pour passer un très agréable séjour. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et parlent français. Il est vrai que l'on entend les voitures la nuit et les mouettes au petit matin mais est'il possible d'éviter le moindre bruit en plein centre d'une grande ville? Merci pour magnifique séjour.

Appartement très bien situé

Nous remercions Francisco et son épouse pour le sympathique accueil qu'ils nous ont réservé et leurs bons conseils sur les restaurants de poissons et tout particulièrement le Mar Na Brasa que nous recommandons particulièrement. L'appartement est très bien situé à 2 pas de la rue piétonne Santa Catarina . L'appartement par lui même est très confortable, spacieux et très lumineux avec sa belle terrasse, les seuls reproches seraient le bruit de l'ascenseur qui touche l'appartement, le bruit de la rue très passante et bruyante dû à une mauvaise insonorisation de la partie vitrée au dessus du lit. Il serait bon d'effectuer un double vitrage pour cette partie ainsi que l'occulter car dès le lever du jour nous êtes réveillés. ( Donc prévoir boules Quies et bandeau pour bien dormir) Concernant cette belle terrasse il manque effectivement des transats ainsi qu'une vraie table pour un séjour parfait. Daniel

BEL APPARTEMENT BIEN SITUE

Nous avons apprécié l'accueil de Fransisco et de son épouse qui nous ont bien informés sur Porto et ce qu'il y a à voir, pour un court séjour. L'appartement est spacieux, avec une grande terrasse, propre et bien situé pour visiter et apprécier à pieds la ville qu'on a beaucoup aimée. Le seul bémol, c'est le froid glacial de l'appartement que le chauffage très peu efficace ne parvient pas à réchauffer (notre séjour a eu lieu début janvier).

Seulement dire pour tous les personnes que peut lire votre commentaire, qu'il y a quatre appareils de chauffage dans l'appartement, nous constatons que vous avez placé les dispositifs au moins et vous avait la porte du terrasse ouverte! J'ai même pensé que vous avaient eu la chaleur pendant votre séjour! Si nous avions contacté, nous aurions pu aider à améliorer votre confort.

Emplacement idéal

Très bel accueil de Francesco et sa conjointe. Ils donnent beaucoup d'informations pertinentes afin d'agrémenter le séjour. L'appartement est spacieux et très propre. Étant donné qu'il dispose d'une très grande terrasse, il serait agréable de pouvoir jouir d'un mobilier approprié, ce qui n'est pas le cas présentement (sinon cet appartement mérite pratiquement un 5 étoiles). L'emplacement est parfait, près de toutes les commodités nécessaires.
