Cette maison mitoyenne dispose de 2 chambres chacune avec salle de bain individuelle. L'une est une chambre principale avec un lit king-size et un coin salon, un grand écran plat dans une télévision murale. Cette chambre dispose d'une salle de bains principale avec une grande baignoire et une douche à vapeur. L'autre chambre a un lit queen size avec une salle de bain de taille moyenne une baignoire / douche combinée. Cette chambre dispose d'un écran plat dans une télévision murale. Les deux chambres ont un câble cox et Wifi. Il y a un petit espace commun avec un micro-ondes / hall qui jouxte les deux chambres. Il y a un pavillon avec des chaises qui donnent sur le bayou. Great hosts and lovely accomodations

The rooms were great, the hosts were friendly and accomodating, the breakfast was amazing, and the location on the bayou was beautiful and relaxing. I definitely hope to return one day!!

Crawfish Festival

The property was great and Bryan/Robbie were excellent hosts. The home cooked breakfast and fresh coffee in the morning was awesome. The location was walkable to the Crawfish Festival which was prefer our weekend.

Wonderful get away

It truly is a beautiful property on the bayou and we wished we could have stayed longer. The hosts were amazing. Beds were comfortable. We have family in the area so we will definitely stay again.

Beautiful Bayou Getawy

Very Charming cabin, decorated just like I would expect a Cajun cabin to look like. With beautiful Cajun artwork & decor thru out the whole cabin. Our hosts were amazing! Early in the morning overlooking the bayou the wildlife & the scenery was breathtaking. Will definitely book again!

Great Stay

This place had a spectacular view of Bayou Teche. The accommodations were excellent for the four of us seniors. The breakfasts were outstanding. Robbie and Duggie were the best hosts anyone could ask for. They were both very helpful by giving suggestions for places to visit. They were extremely hospitable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

A Beauty on the Bayou

This is an amazing property with patios overlooking the Bayou Teche. We spent many mornings, & evenings, watching the river flow by, birds flitting through the trees, turtles sunning themselves, and some gorgeous sunsets.

Perfect Bayou Getaway

Wonderful property overlooking the bayou! As someone else mentioned, the pictures don't do this property justice. Absolutely beautiful with every little detail thought of. Comfy beds, a great pool to cool off in, sitting areas to enjoy the outdoors, delicious homemade breakfasts, and super charming and helpful hosts. Our favorite stay so far in the South!

Lovely Spot in Cajun Country

The listing does not do this spot justice! The homeowners (who live in the attached home) cook a lovely breakfast for you and the outdoor area is really great. There is an option to add the upstairs/3rd bedroom which is great for larger groups. Very convenient to all that the quaint downtown Breaux Bridge area offers and not far from all the action in Lafayette.

Best Hosts Ever

As others have said, pictures just don’t do it justice. Lovely grounds, pool and spaces to relax. Comfy and relaxing rooms. Clean and nicely appointed bathrooms. Bryan and Robbie are friendly and generous hosts. Do not miss breakfast on the veranda! Bryan’s out of sight country eggs or crawfish omelets and Robbie’s homemade scones are to die for.

Upon a arrival, the owner(?) was waiting in the driveway and came up to my car window. He then insisted on giving us a tour of the property and pool. During the tour, he revealed that he and his wife would also be staying there during our stay. He even asked us to commit to a time for breakfast the next morning. We were looking for a private getaway. If the listing had been forthcoming, we would have passed

The listing is very clear about the type of rooms they are. The rooms are like a duplex. We always ask about breakfast to make sure whether or not we need to make it and if there are any allergies. We also give the guest a tour so they now where to go to get breakfast and where the pool is and other facilities.

We were surprised by many aspects of our stay. This rental is perfect if you are hoping for a bed and breakfast experience on the bayou. Pros: delicious breakfast, beautiful property, friendly hosts, kayaks and a canoe available for paddling, nice pool with pretty views. Cons: We did not understand that we were staying in the same home as the hosts. We thought we were in a separate home on the property. We had ongoing interactions with the hosts throughout our stay, almost every time we left the rental. They were very friendly and attentive and seemed very nice, but we're used to a little more privacy when booking homes. There is a partition between the areas and a separate door for guests to get into their area. I also didn't understand from the listing that for 6 people the extra cost automatically added was for a breakfast, not for the 3rd room indicated on the pictures. Just passing on this information to help others avoid my confusion!Overall it was a good experience, and we did truly appreciate their hospitality.

First as guest you were renting a room not a house. It is very clear in the description. Not sure anyone rents an entire house with a build in pool and comes over to serve you breakfast for $200 a night. Please let me know because I would love to be serviced like that. The pictures clearly state what the rooms look like and there is no where that it state you are renting an “entire house with a private pool”.

What a great experience!

Robbie and Bryan were incredible hosts. They were really hospitable, made us feel right at home. They made us a great breakfast every day -- fresh baked scones, quiche, crawfish omelete (wow!). They gave us lots of privacy. They take huge pride of ownership in their property and keep it up really well. The pool was really nice, being right on the Bayou was incredible -- really beautiful spot. Amenities in the unit were all well stocked. No kitchen or living room in the unit we stayed in, the side unit, but there was fridge, microwave, coffee maker, filtered cold water. The master bedroom is really large so acted as a living room for us. We were there in July, it was very hot, air conditioning worked great. Just a great place, probably one of the best VRBO experiences we have had. Great hosts, highly recommend! Thanks Robbie and Bryan!

Quick Trip

My husband and daughter stayed for a few days while on a hunting trip. They enjoyed the stay, breakfast and conversation. The only thing that I missed in reservation was that this cute little place was connected directly to the owners home. Thanks you taking care of my family while they were away from me and for being so accommodating.

Owner Falsely Accused Us of Property Damage and withheld Deposit

Upon checking out of the property we received a notice that most of our damage deposit had been withheld. She accused us of having moved a sofa to watch TV and scratching the floor. We never moved any furniture in the property. When we tried to contact the property owner she refused to listen to us and rudely stated that we needed to not call her and call VRBO. When we called VRBO, they said we needed to call the property owner to try to resolve the issue. We are now on day 5 of trying to get this resolved. Besides retaining most of our damage deposit, we continue to get bills stating that we owe additional money even though our bill was prepaid in full.

We have lived on this property for approximately 15 years and the beauty of the Bayou with the running live oaks are breathtaking.

Sitting on the cover patio observing all the wildlife on this bayou is absolutely the vacation you won't forget. Being close to town has made it easy to shop and sight see. We have visited Avery Island and Lake Martin when the beautiful egrets have been nesting in the trees.

Delicious breakfast (opinionable) and patio area to sit and enjoy the bayou and wildlife. Canoe and kayak to stroll down the bayou.
