We live on 10 acres. We have pastures of horses and chickens. It is a peaceful and serene area that is very close to the city of Lafayette. We are 3 miles from I-10 and 8 miles to I-49. There are lots of great restaurants and areas to visit.

My second time staying here. The hostesses treat me like family. They are so welcoming. Such a peaceful environment - including beautiful country views with horses. There were even 3 fouls that were just born. Such a blessing to watch the baby horses interacting with their moms. Bonus: The Best Stop Kitchen/grocery store is just down the street and sells amazing boudin biscuits!

We had such a wonderful experience staying at the Coop! Waking up to the horses, cats, and Princess the donkey was truly special. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more memorable!! We will absolutely be coming back to stay here on our next visit!

Perfect stay for new years. Our family lives nearby and this spot offered a perfect place to relax. The cottage is perfectly clean. The space is comfortable enough for us and our teenage daughter. Kitchenette is well stocked for prepping a small meal. Owners are very kind and live on site. Beautiful farm setting with friendly animals.

We had a wonderful stay at "The Coop"! We had a very short stay as we chose to stay here on the way back to Texas from an LSU football game, but the hosts were super understanding when we came in late and left the light on the porch turned on for us. We woke up to the horses outside our window which was a fun treat! Everything was clean and we will absolutely stay here again if we ever find ourselves in LA.

Nice home to stay at

Excellent host and clean home. We arrived late at night and the host was kind to leave the porch lights on and stayed up to ensure that we could properly access the home. They went above and beyond here. Thank you!

What a lovely little Coop, a great stop on our trip, a cool farm atmosphere with horses chickens cats and dogs, surely a wonderful place to spend a few days.
