Emplacement incroyable. À quelques pas de votre porte, les 11 kilomètres de plage de sable vous attendent. L'appartement en bord de mer a une salle de bain complète, une petite mais bien équipée cuisine, 2 chambres avec lits queen et un canapé-lit dans le salon. Il y a une terrasse extérieure pour profiter de votre café du matin, du coucher du soleil et des feux d'artifice. Le meilleur sandwich de la ville est de l'autre côté de la rue. Nice location, walking distance to the beach!Great communication with the host and the corner market/store was an awesome experience to meet the owners and hear their story! Went there for coffee every morning! Tammy Lynns' is the name of the store, I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to meet down to earth, wholesome people!

We loved the beach access and our dog was happy since we had porch and were a little set back from the street. The unit had everything we needed and was comfortable. The hosts were available but not invasive.

Cute clean small apartment. Living room and 1 of 2 bedrooms had window ac units so we were able to stay cool as weather was high 80s over 90 1 day out of our 7 day stay. Close to the beach.

Just a bump when I couldn’t find the place at 2am after driving 12 hours. I recommend bringing a flashlight to see the numbers and keys. I loved every other part of my stay. Excellent communication about any questions, and a beautiful spot.

2 days without hot water. Ad deceiving about being on beach 2 handicapped people and was looking forward to staying on beach. No communication from owner prior to vacation with questions I had. Never again.

Beach is steps away

Rain, Rain Rain! But the apartment was nicer than I expected and a/c’s in the windows which helped with the humidity. It’s a cute place and an easy walk to the beach the landlord is a nice guy and keeps you informed through email. I would recommend a deep cleaning of furniture floors and bath. There’s a great porch/patio but everything was wet so we ever got to use it. I had one sunny day but we tried to keep busy.

It’s fine, but there are a million other better places

The place is adequate, but the walls are thin and you can hear everything from the upstairs neighbors. The eating utensils are cheap and bent, the mattresses are cheap and uncomfortable. There are 3 units, but parking is tight and apparently the owner told the biggest unit that they could have 2 spots of the three. We didn’t have hot water for 24 hours and the property manager was really hard to get ahold of. I text about 2 other issues and got no response. This place is just fine, but there are units with kitchenettes and accept dogs throughout the 7 mile beach. Just google.

We're sorry to read SarahJean's review. We checked the silverware as well as the mattresses. We did find one bent spoon and removed it, though it did not belong to the set. The mattresses are new this season. No one else has every complained about noise or thin walls, so we're not quite sure about that point. In any case, we think our place is a really nice beach apartment and guests usually have a great stay.

RUN DOWN PLACE

NICE LOCATION BUT RUN DOWN APARTMENT. COULD NOT USE THE PORCH AT ALL, SAND RAINS DOWNS THRU UPSTAIRS DECK ONTO CHAIRS AND GAS GRILL ALL DAY LONG, SO YOU CANT DO ANYTHING OUT THERE AND ITS THE ONLY PLACE FOR YOU TO SIT AT THE PROPERTY. NO COIN LAUDRY AT PROPERTY, ITS DOWN THE ROAD. THERE ARE NO CURTAINS ON THE WINDOWS JUST CRAPPY BLINDS AND THE KITCHEN SINK WINDOW HAS NOTHING COVERING IT AND ITS IN DIRECT VIEW OF THE ONLY COUCH TO SIT ON AT NIGHT TO WATCH THE ONLY TV IN THE KITCHEN. THE FLOORS ARE ALL SEVERLY WARPED AND THE BATHTUB FLOOR WAS MUSHY AS WELL, LIKE ROTTING UNDERNEATH THE TUB. THE POTS AND PANS WERE ALL PEELING TEFLON AND THE MICROWAVE HAS RUSTY HOLES INSIDE ON THE TOP AND BACK OF THE OVEN SO COULDNT COOK UNTIL 6 DAYS INTO MY STAY WHEN MANAGMENT REPLACED POT AND PANS WITH VERY CHEAP ONE S AT THAT. SO DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PLACE AND HOW MUCH I PAID FOR IT. EVERYTHING IS EITHER BROKEN OR ALMOST BROKEN. THE LIGHT IN THE BEDROOM IS ABOUT READY TO COME OFF WALL, TOILET SEAT SLIDES AROUND CUZ ITS BROKEN, OR DOES'NT FIT THE TOILET, THE RADIATOR IN BATH HAS EXPOSED WIRES..I COULD GO ON AND ON,NO WORKING PORCH LIGHT, CHAIR CUSHIONS WHERE RUSTY, MOLDY AND HAD BURN HOLES ON THEM, MANAGEMENT REPLACED THEM WITH CHEAP MUCH SMALLER CUSHIONS THAT DIDNT FIT THE RUSTY CHAIRS. THE PLACE HAS A NASTY SMELL ABOUT IT THAT WONT GO AWAY, THE ONLY ENTRY DOOR IN THE KITCHEN SWINGS SHUT ON YOU ANS THERE IS NO SCREEN DOOR TO GET A CROSS BREEZE, AIR CONDITIONERS ARE OLD AND DIRTY TOO

We’re quite shocked by this review which was also unexpected because the guest stayed the entire week rather than leaving because of the issues. It’s also unexpected because until now we had a top host standing which now the platform will remove. Just generally, for our guest and all, if there is an appliance that needs to be swapped out or a lightbulb that needs replacing, just let us know. We’d like push back on the characterization of the apartment which regularly returning guests really like. In any case we’d like to move on from this review but also recognize that we didn’t manage to rectify the problems quickly enough or to her satisfaction. Apologies!

It was great!

The apt was just what we needed for our short vacation. We have dogs and it was close to the beach and close enough to run our dogs early in the morning. The walk to town was just right to go to dinner and/or whatever we needed. We will be back!

Tub had hair in the drain - Grease in Stove wells - Floors had not been swept - Toilet Ran Constantly - Mirrors were dirty - AC's filters need to be cleaned , all blinds dusty and slats broken - Blood on one side of bed blanket underside - pink bacteria serratia marcescens in the utensil and the dish rack - one couch and 3 dinning chairs does not fit 5 people, size of the place was misrepresented !

Thank you for the feedback. We have professional cleaners who spend about 1 hour cleaning the place which is then subsequently checked. We were there ourselves prior to your arrival and cannot confirm these (quite clinical) details but what we have done is checked all the mattresses (which are actually in good condition). In the meantime we also replaced items such as the dish rack. There are in fact 5 dining chairs, though one is in one of the bedrooms. Having five people in the apartment is doable but indeed perhaps for a younger group.

Perfectly Close to the Beach

Best part of the stay is that you walk to the end of the road and there is the beach. It was perfect for a last minute quick getaway with my daughters before they went back to college. The two bedrooms were sufficient for us but the sleep sofa is not the most comfortable. The place is conveniently located and walking distance to town. Although we ate most of our meals out, the kitchen and stove are very small but well equipped. We had a lovely vacation. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Week at the beach

Close proximity to both the beach and pier. Great that they allow pets. Only negative is, you have a chance of having inconsiderate renters above you (or below) that don't mind leaving their barking dog alone for you to listen to.

Intimate, Clean and Comfortable

Great location, and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. Deck is perfect for dinner and evenings to socialize. Only suggestion is unit needs a full sink in kitchen for those wishing to cook in. Other than that, Fantastic time and loved the place. Thanks Richard and Sabine.
