Hi Louise, we were happy to host all of you here at Sunset Ridge. Just want to clarify a few things that you are mistaken about in your review. There is cell phone service in many particular areas inside and outside the home, as well as other places on the 50 acre property, including the woods, that you can call and text, as I explained upon check in. There is also high speed fiber optic internet where you have the option to do other methods of calling. The information about the access to the buildings on the property is listed on the first page in the description, along with the information about signing the lease agreement, which shows up immediately upon a request to book, and at the actual time of booking, as a document, so you would have seen it twice. You received another copy of the waiver 2 days prior to your check in, because you failed to sign the wavier that was required to be signed immediately upon booking, which was back in March. Here is a copy of the information provided when reading about the property “”Guest can access the entire private 50 acres and all of the bordering Daniel Boone National Forest, with the exception of: Chapel, chapel area & lawn, barn, 2 open sheds, metal building, & attached garage. *You must sign the rental agreement provided under Policies”” Generally when booking someone’s home, they do not give you access to buildings on their property. Your disappointment on these subjects, are of your own making, considering our policies, guidelines and information provided are very plain and simple, available upon viewing the property on VRBO, and extremely thorough and detailed. Hopefully when you are booking another property, you will read everything that is presented to you, so that you will not have to review a great property in a negative manner, considering your disappointment is due to your failure to comprehend the information so clearly provided to you.

The closest city, which is Morehead, is 30 minutes from our property, the road is just temporarily closed due to a mountain slide, you must have had to take the detour. Ideal for a weekend with family or friends (surely perfect for a wedding). The children loved the swimming pool with the slide and the parents enjoyed walking in the surrounding countryside. Ideal for running. Be aware that the 1st city is 45 minutes away, you should plan all your races in advance. We'll go back!
