Splash Resort's amenities are quite unique among Gulf Coast resorts and there is something here for everyone. There is a heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi located right next to the main kids play area where the water slides and enormous bucket that dumps hundreds of gallons of water every 45 seconds are located. Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

The room was clean and had all the items necessary and more for a great stay. The view was beautiful in all directions. The pool area was a hit. Would highly recommend and will stay again. Thank you!

Great place, clean, awesome amenities

Check in was fast/easy. Parking was always available on the main floor. Loved the pools, beach access and the extra amenities from Explorie (free arcade, golf, etc...). 10/10 recommend staying here. Room was clean, owner texted me right back when i had a comment to share. Very pleased with our stay and would love to come back again sometime. Cheers,

Practically perfect in every way

The condo is decorated beautifully peaceful. Having 2 balconied bedrooms eliminated the need for the usual rock paper scissors game for the “good bedroom”! The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well appointed and the views went on forever!

Pros Cons

Condo itself was good. Clean, roomy, equipped kitchen with starter packs ( toiletries, dishwashing liquid etc
). Plenty of room. Great patio/deck in 17th floor. Property Not senior citizen friendly. LONG walk from garage to room. Need more elevators. I heard multiple guests mention a 40 min line for elevator at check out time. Good for families but crowded for couples or retirees. Depends on your needs whether this is good fit. Good deal for the price. Right in the water.

Beautiful condo, plenty of room for everyone, loved the walk-in showers. Very large balcony with great views of ocean.

Covid Beach Getaway

Beautiful condo and very well decorated. Needs a deep clean though, found paper wrappers from candy behind chair and under bed. Cleaners need to do a better job overall! Also the only place to put your food for the week is the pantry but the pantry was full of pots/pans, appliances and dishes that could be kept in the kitchen cabinets. We had to move some into the cabinets and some on a bunk bed we weren't using just to have space for our food. It was a huge pain!! Also we were on the 17th floor and there are only 2 elevators for a tower with 21 floors, which means you are waiting for a while to go up and down especially in the evening when everyone is going up. Other than these couple of things we enjoyed the condo and the beach.

We had a wonderful stay at splash resort. Only suggestion is for our condo to include beach chair/umbrella rental like lots of the other units do. Overall stay was very nice and comfortable! Our 2 year Old loves the splash pad the most! Thanks for a wonderful adventure.

Always rented at Splash with no issues. I booked through Panhandle who changed my room 24 hours before my arrival. The new room was the worst I’ve ever rented from Splash. The lights didn’t work properly, some of the furniture was awful and unsafe for kids, no WiFi connection, no blankets, rusted shower caddy. This was not worth $900 for 2 bedrooms. VERY DISPLEASED CUSTOMER....:
