Proposée pour la première fois, cette unité de luxe est située dans la partie centrale de Half Moon Bay d’Akumal, à quelques pas de nombreux commerces, dont des restaurants raffinés, un spa et l’aquarium naturel de la lagune de Yalku. Beautiful property... we enjoyed the location on Half Moon Bay. Pleasant area and a few restaurants in walking distance such as La Lunita and La Buena Vida. Two snorkeling options one a few minutes northa and one a few minutes south of our condo. Highly recommend

Friends getaway

The condo was absolutely wonderful, with excellent amenities, view, and great communication with the concierge. They helped with our transport from the airport and also arranging massages and other things. We loved Akumal - very relaxed and a couple great restaurants. We loved the option to cook at condo as well. Loved our stay and hope to go back!

Awesome setting

Great location right on the beach. Loved the cleanliness of the unit. Fully stocked. Mattresses were super comfortable and the A/C worked like a charm. Will return again.

Akumal trip

Comfortable and very nice. Wish the hot water would have lasted longer than a few short minutes for one person. Had to get the safe key from the property manager to make the safe work but easy to do and worked just fine with key. Overall experience was great!

Lovely Spot in Half Moon Bay

Spectacular Condo

The condo was just as pictured, but with new outdoor chaises and table and chairs. Upon arriving the condo was comfortably cool and every thing was ready for us and perfect. The concierge rented us a golf cart, and cleaning was done everyday. We had to cut our trip short by 3 days due to falling at a theme park and fracturing my r. arm. We will definitely come back to this unit.

Beautiful Condo and location.

The condo was beautiful. It was right on the beach. The view from our large terrace was exquisite- you could watch the sea all day, the stars at night and the sunrise in the morning. Large two bedroom unit. Each bedroom had its own private bathroom. Large kitchen with all the basic necessities. Comfortable living room. Air conditioners worked great. Lots of hot water. Steps to the ocean and the pool. Great location. 5 min walk to a very nice beach restaurant. 20 min walk into the small town of Akumal with stores and several restaurants. Overall a great stay!!

Incredible 16 day stay

The condo was well appointed and tastfully decorated. It is gorgeous and had a wonderul layout for sharing the condo with guests. The beds were extremely comfortable as was the living room furniture. The views from here can't be beat. I enjoyed spending time in the pool each afternoon and I really loved that it was mostly shaded by gorgeous palm tress. I spent my mornings on the balcony drinking coffee and watching the amazing sunrise :)The staff at Akumal Direct were so kind and helpful too. Will definitely rent this exact condo again!

The unit was as described, well thought out and well outfitted including the kitchen equipment (no dishwasher). The views were great and we could snorkel right outside our door. It was a very peaceful quiet location. The elevator was frequently out of service and the WiFi was spotty. There are a few good restaurants within walking distance. The shoreline is rocky so you need water shoes or booties to walk or swim and you can’t take long walks on the beach as there are areas where it is impassable. For example you cant walk down to Akumal Bay along the beach you have to walk on a paved road behind the buildings. It is a nice paved road but we prefer to walk along the beach. And there is no washer in the unit as one review states. My only request would be for a paddle board or kayak to use, many of the other condos provided them but not Nitke. We would stay here again.

Reviewer Comments: The pro’s—very clean, a/c and fans work great, nicely decorated, kitchen reasonably well appointed, big jug of water provided, and beds very comfortable. Beautiful beach view—loved it! Daily maid service.People extremely nice. Pool very clean.Very quiet (except for some construction), but a little too quiet for us especially given it was low season. A couple of restaurants were closed. Con’s—the doors to the deck were extremely difficult to open...some maintenance or replacement needed. The elevator never worked—should not advertise one if it doesn’t work. Carrying luggage and groceries to the 3rd floor was difficult for 2 small women. Amenities in bath limited to a bar of soap and a bottle of shampoo. I also typically expect at least salt and pepper, spices, cooking oil, coffee, etc to be provided....nothing. It would also be nice to have access to the washer/dryer since towels don’t dry out in the humidity. There was 1 restaurant and a convenience store quite close—others were about a mile away. Not a problem for us, but sometimes limiting without a car.

Good option in Akumal

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the Nikte condos are an excellent property. The location in the center of Halfmoon Bay is ideal. The overall condition of Unit 5 was excellent. The decore and layout are very good. The maid service was excellent and the grounds where kept clean and tidy. The one issue we did have was the air conditioner in the second bedroom did not work, maitenece looked at it right away, but was unable to fix it. We stayed for two weeks and the unit was never fixed. It was fimne for us, we didnt use the room, but I would have liked to use the room as an office. the other thing you need to no when staying on Halfmoon bay is nthe sargassum is bad in the summer paticularly in the center of the bay. As currently constructed the barrier is not keeping seaweed out of the bay. We knew this would be an issue, but the location has a good pool, easy access to Yal Ku Cenote, Akumal Bay Beach. The restaurants in Akumal are excellent, with 4 options less than 5 min walk from Nikte. Another bonus of the location is a little grocery store across the street, that has all the staples you may need.I would stay at Nikte 5 again, but I would be more insistamt on getting the air conditioner working. The overall quality was excellent.

Just Go! Beautiful, amazing ocean views, convenient location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were considering the Andaz Myokoba, but weren't really in the mood for the whole "resort" far from an actual town vibe. We'd never been to Akumal and weren't sure if it was nice or how big it was. Here's scoop: Akumal is a one road town, which we loved. The road itself is a pretty sort of "modern cobblestone" look with lots of pretty flowers and trees along it (some unkept areas too). The whole road is only 1.5 miles - we got (crummy but fun) bikes for $7/day and LOVED it. If you stay in the Half Moon Bay section (where this condo is, just north of the main Akumal bay) some of the beach is rocky. The beach at this condo was not rocky, it was sandy, BUT the bottom of the actual ocean was rocky, so not the easiest to go swim (you can, but you will have to walk on some rocks). There is a little market directly across the street that sells tequila, snacks etc...which is very convenient. You are an easy walk to La Buena Vida bar/restaurant and La Lunita (which can be less windy and has better margaritas in my opinion). Most days, we hopped on our bikes and went into Akumal Bay to Lol Ha for amazing oceanfront breakfast. You can bring your towels and walk down the beach if you want to swim in a less rocky spot. There is also Turtle Bay Bakery and Taverna in Akumal bay (not waterfront, but charming and yummy). One day, we road our bikes to the other end of Half Moon Bay (so less than a mile) and went swimming in the Cenote/Lagoon there, which was fun. The condo itself was awesome. Super clean, had everything you need, very nice helpful staff maid service everyday. Huge patio with big sliding doors from living room and master bedroom. The waves were SO LOUD in the best way...incredible. And shades of turquoise that were amazing. You can literally just lay in bed and feel like you're on the beach. Comfy bed and pillows (which I am picky about). DEEP relaxation was the theme. Zero nightlife (unless you count drinks at Lol Ha, Taverna or Buena Vida).
