Upscale beachfront ground level condo with AC, WiFi, swimming pool!

Nikte Ha 1 is a beautiful ground floor residential suite in Akumal’s most recent luxury beachfront condominium. This newly constructed 2 bedroom condo includes all the modern amenities and comforts of home. The elegant living room leads to a furnished beachfront patio overlooking the oceanfront swimming pool. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, granite countertops, an island table with bar style seating for 3 and a large round dining table. Be sure to ask us about the option to rent as a 3 bedroom!

The master bedroom has a king size bed and sliding glass doors leading to the beachfront deck. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds that can be pushed together to accommodate couples, and a small garden atrium. This has a third bedroom option which is a lock off studio with kitchenette and independent entrance allowing this unit to be used as a 3, 2 or 1 bedroom vacation rental.

Only a short stroll on the beach to some of the best beachfront restaurants nearby or walk down Akumal road to Yal-ku Lagoon, Akumal Bay, and downtown Akumal for more dining options, stores, dive shops and fun for everyone.

We very much enjoyed the closeness to the beach, although we were disappointed that the waves were rougher than we expected, perhaps just a weather issue, which made getting in over the rocks somewhat difficult. Having the host agency right across the street was very helpful for getting local info, renting a golf cart etc. the condo itself is very attractive and comfortable, and the patio furniture very comfortable - we spent hours a day out there.

Amazing Stay!!!!

My wife told me not to write a review because she doesn’t want the word to get out about how awesome this place is , but I want to be a good fellow traveler and share our experience! We absolutely loved this unit and its location. It’s close to many excellent restaurants, a dive shop, and convenience stores. The beach right in front of the unit was fantastic, and the pool was perfect for little kids as well.

Beautiful Home

We couldn’t have been more pleased with our time here. The size of the condo allowed our family some space to read, swim, or sit by the water. The outdoor space was well curated and comfy, and the 20 steps to the beach meant I got to watch the sunrise each day with a cup of coffee. The pool was great when we wanted a break from the beach, and it was pristinely clean. We loved the little market across the street from the condo for snacks and drinks, and there were plenty of amazing restaurants walking distance to the park as well as some great shops. The kitchen was beautiful, we didn’t cook as much because of all the great restaurant choices but it had everything you need. We would definitely come back again!

Just what we needed

The property was exactly as described. We really enjoyed the location, the pool, etc.. If you’re wanting to relax and enjoy a true beachside location, this is a great place to stay. Only downside to the unit itself is that the sofa is not comfortable. You have to constantly rearrange pillows to get comfortable. And that’s the only place to sit in the living area.

Everything we could ask for.

Beautiful Condo! Comfortable and clean with beautiful view. Well equipped kitchen. My kids loved the furniture! This condo is totally walkable and golf carts available for $45/24 hrs. There is a store is stone's throw across the street. New restaurant Jungla- right down the way toward the lagoon. Managment has excellent communication. Perfecto!

Excellent Location

The property was a very good size. It's beautiful and cleaners came daily. The pool right out the patio was an excellent amenity, my daughters love to swim. The ocean was so/so. The amount of seaweed I'd never seen before. The ocean was unaccessible due to the mounds of seaweed, which was cool due to the pool. It was the smell of the seaweed that was a little too strong for me. The covered patio was also beautiful. My daughters would love to go back, it bothered them none. I think I just may have been taken back by it being too much!

Ocean in the Backyard

The property was very well maintained and clean. We had a cleaning service that was included daily. The best part was that the ocean/bay was just steps away. I needed a bit of rest and relaxation and hearing the waves day and night was just what I needed. The bed and sofa was comfy. We also were able to rent a golf cart and hired a personal chef a couple of days which were all coordinated thru the management company with ease. There was a bit of a mix up with which apartment we specifically rented, we arrived after hours and had to contact the manager. He responded promptly and the mix up was resolved quickly. Overall the place was very quaint and comfy. I would definitely stay here again.

Exceeded Expectations! We will be back!

We will definitely return! The pictures didn’t do the location justice. From the time we walked up until the time we left we felt at home. The best part is the pool being steps away from the door. We loved the following about the stay. 1) warm pool 2) store being steps across and had everything needed 3) proximity to La Bueno Vida (the best!!) 4) comfy sofa 5) location was so cozy and away from the hustle. Things that could be improved on were only 2 and really nothing the home owner had control over. Bring bug spray bc the mosquitoes are the worst! They are like birds and at night and just terrible! Also, sea weed was bad. Overall 5 & we will be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time at NikteHa and it won't be our last. We couldn't have been more pleased with condo #1. (We just found out it has been sold and hope the new owners continue to rent it.) Loved to be able to walk out the door 5 steps to the pool and another 5 steps to the beach. Decorated beautifully. Very comfortable bed in the master bedroom and enjoyed coffee on the patio. We've been going to the Akumal area for many years and Akumal Direct was by far the best company we've ever dealt with.Positives: location, cleanliness, decor, high quality furniture both inside and out, nice to have purified water at the kitchen sink,(it would have been nice to have purified water in the bathroom sinks as well), outstanding maid service, very well equipped, very clean pool, clean and raked beach. Pictures on the internet are very accurate.Negatives: Pool was way too cold, hot water was sporadic and would turn on and off every couple of minutes, (they tried to fix it but never did.) the refrigerator motor was so loud that it was difficult to sleep, didn't enjoy waking up to loud talking at 7 in the morning when the maintenance people were cleaning the pool and raking, never could get anything but Netflix (you have to use your own account) on the TV. The beds in the second bedroom were so hard you might as well sleep on the floor. It would be nice if they left instructions on how to operate the air conditioning.

Definitely be back

Really enjoyed our 10 day stay. Only a few recommendations: The kitchen was quite dark...maybe more lighting or a lighter paint colour. The living room sofa seems to be sagging, wasn't comfortable to sit on. You will definitely need water shoes, once you are over approximately 5 to 6 feet of rocks, you are good to go and enjoy the beautiful ocean. The restaurants and shops are great. We managed to get around with a golf cart. Thank you and we will be back!

Has almost anything you might need.. condo was modern, comfortable and had everything we needed.. the cleaning woman was very good as well.. would come back here in a heartbeat 💓 actually I wish I was still there!!! Also want to give a shout out to Daniel,he works for akumal direct in there concierge service, he was a great help with everything from getting a golf cart to dinner reservations.. Are group will definitely be back!!!

Paradise in Half Moon Bay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Akumal for 12 years but this year was our first time at Nikte-Ha. The condo was perfect in every way, from interior space to outdoor patio, high end furnishings. The kitchen was also equipped with everything we needed when staying in for meals. Appreciated condiments, which made cooking easier. If we return again with another couple, we will definitely choose Nikte-Ha. Green Eyes manager Leti was very responsive & helpful, as was the rest of their staff. Only issue was time it took to get hot water for showering. Also would be helpful to have a book explaining how to operate all appliances such as washer & dryer.
