Wonderful stormy stay

This house was in a great location-walkable to everything. Beautiful views and unique/timeless home. We appreciated the views. The basement game room entertained nieces and nephews during stormy, windy weather. Cozy warm for an older home. Great kitchen, eating area and living area with great light and views. Hope to stay here again.

PERFECT!

We will definitely stay here the next time we are Yachats! It's the best...location, comfort, cleanliness, convenience...and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. Watching the tides, hikes, great food and beers, etc....the best!

I was not wrong -- perfect location with ocean views, short walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, and Yachats trails, open kitchen for cooking together, large comfy beds, and TWO decks (one with a hot tub). Doesn't get better!

Gem in Yachats

Fantastic spot. Great location, beautiful view. Walking distance to everything in town. Great amenities and extras that helped keep the whole gang entertained and relaxed. Family had a great time. Will definitely come back.

I stayed at the property with my two kids grown ups now and my 3 grandkids. It couldn't be more more beautiful!! The kids loved taking short walks and returning to the cabin was always special. Eating our meals while planning our next day was fantastic. We all loved the location,!

Great location

Walk to town. Walk to tide pools. Walk to grocery store. Tremendous views from both levels. The house is clean and nicely decorated. All the furnishings were comfortable. This is a well planned vacation rental. And the hot tub with fabulous view was clean and just the perfect temperature.

Needs some work

We’ve stayed here for several years & have loved it in the past. The property now needs some freshening up and definitely new beds! All three of the beds were uncomfortable, there are several area rugs that are curling and are definite safety hazards, piles of debris on deck etc.

Amazing views!

Love the location and how this house optimizes the amazing views. Well stocked kitchen. Enjoyed the hot tub after a cold plunge in the ocean. Only 1 shower, which I must have missed in the listing, but it worked. The bathroom is not well ventilated so it got musty quite quickly. No response from property management so something for them to explore for future renters.Overall would rent again!

Great location and view, bummer about the broken hot tub

Beautiful house right on the ocean in the heart of the village of Yachats. Clean, quiet, comfortable, well appointed. Hot tub was broken. We would have chosen another place to stay had we known sooner. No hood fan in the kitchen, so be very careful to open up all the doors and windows when cooking. Check in was easy and smooth, and the property managers were kind and helpful.

Perfect Set Up

PROS: Location! Walked to everything. Hot Tub was big, 6 adults. Wifi and cable to watch the games. Well stocked kitchen, multi-charger for all our devices. CONS: Could use more bath towels. With tubbing at night and showers in the morning, we had to wash towels every day. Bring your own shower soap.

Great location

The spa alone locked up our choice for this property. Very short walk to restaurants, grocery, and shops. Fully equipped kitchen. Roomy. Lots of TV's if you wish. Basement playroom for kids. Hiking right out the door. Fantastic view. Con: the grill is broken, dirty, with a grease trap laying on the propane tank. Unusable. Disappointing with 3 cooks in the house. Also, good paper products should automatically be supplied at these rates.

Reviewer Comments: The home is well appropriated with everything you need, great amenities, and obviously well taken care of by the owners and the rental company. The home was clean and comfortable and spacious enough for six adults. The hot tub was an excellent addition but I might suggest adding a couple chairs up there for those who just want to relax on the porch. The house is on the bay inlet road smack in the middle of town so it was a popular walking trail for visitors. We didn't mind at all but if you're looking for somewhere with more privacy, another place might be better suited. This place also only has one full bathroom with a half bath upstairs, again, this was not a problem for us, but it's good information to have if you're traveling with a group. We loved it here and looked into renting it during the summer, but it looks like it might already be booked up for most of the summer!
