Great Location

We had a great stay for our family of 4 to ski for New Years! Easy checkin and communication. Condo was great only complaint is the towels seemed very old and rough!

Nice and easy Sugar Mtn getaway

Cute condo with street level entry near beginner slopes in the quiet Bee Branch's. Nice view from balcony of Fall trees and small creek below. Gas fireplace was welcome with the cold snap to quickly heat up the room. All in all a good space for a quick trip. Unit above looks to have had some water issues requiring some of the ceiling to be replaced in several areas, but really was only cosmetic. I'd stay here again.

Amazing unit

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in several Branches and Bee Branches in the past and this is one of the nicest units. Owners renovated kitchen and removed the bar sink which made it much bigger and open space. Updated appliances and heaters were not loud as in other units. Appreciated having no carpet as it was easier keeping it clean and dry. Wish there were two twin beds instead of one queen in the second bedroom so kids can have separate beds.

Family vacation

We had initially requested another condo on Sugar mountain but asked if it had air conditioning and were told this one had air conditioning So we booked it, but no! It had fans, no air conditioning and was hot at times. It did have all the kitchen items you would need and a lovely balcony that overlooked a stream and the ski lifts. Beds were fairly comfortable but the pull out sofa was not! We ended up buying an air mattress. It was a great location, had a nice club house with TV, ping pong, and seating. Nice picnic area with Bar b que.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the place was decent. Lots of kitchen supplies didn’t have any problems needing something to cook with. Great views of easy street trail. The Furniture needs to be updated. Kitchen Chairs and bed frame in master bedroom very loose and rickety. Couch needs to be updated cushions very saggy and flat. Overall the place needs less knickknacks makes it hard for the cleaners to clean all the decorations. The rental company was great. We had an issue with the dryer not working and the shower head broken in one of the bathrooms. Someone came out within a 1/2 hr and fixed the shower head. Dryer couldn’t be fixed but we were given another condo to do laundry for the duration of our stay.

We have a young skier so being able to hop on an easy slope to the bunny slope was imperative. The unit was well care for, we had everything we needed and the view of the rushing river was lovely. The beds were comfortable and the living space worked for our group of 6. The master bad could use an upgrade but it worked fine.

Needs Some Attention

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we first arrived, all seemed well. It was late and the first impression was good. When we woke up the first morning and went to sit in the living room for the first time, there was a horrible smell coming from the main sofa. It was urine...and it smelled like human urine! We were able to bag the cushions so that we didn't have to deal with the smell. That left only a love seat for use. Saturday I began to notice my face swelling, and my daughters also. We are both allergic to pet dander. By Saturday night my eyes were so puffy it hurt to keep them open. We purchased some allergy medicine and by the end of our stay, we were beginning to get some relief. Unfortunately, this made for an unpleasant trip skiing and snowboarding. The ceiling is in desperate need of repair. There are multiple places throughout that have pieces falling off. At one point during my shower, I had part of the popcorn ceiling fall on me. Several barstools and chairs have broken legs. The pilot light was not lit therefore we were unable to enjoy the fireplace which would have been nice given the single digit temps. The kitchen was updated and generally speaking, the cleanliness( floors, countertops, bathrooms) was good.

For some reason they have up old pictures on the web site--the wet bar has been removed and the kitchen remodeled to create a nice open plan, also new light fixture over dining room table. Clean, everything you could need to cook, super cozy, fireplace worked, could truly walk right to the slopes and could watch people skiing from the cute balcony. Would totally stay here again.Very disappointed in the property management. At 11pm on our last night a man banged on our door (no mask!) and asked where our car was parked because a water main had burst. Failed to mention that we would be without water for the rest of our stay and also that the water that would be coming out of our pipes would be brown impotable sludge. So our nice leisurely morning turned into a no coffee, no breakfast, no shower morning. Nobody called, emailed, texted. Nobody brought potable water. Nobody offered any recompense for the fact that we had no running water for 25% of our stay. The property was nice enough I would have definitely expected better customer service. Great property--just hope you have water.

A Valentines Family Vacation

Cozy condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Branches 5 was a nice cozy condo. If you’re looking to be close to the slopes this place is for you. If you have your own equipment (or rent offsite) you never have to move your car. The kitchen is well equipped and the master bedroom and bathroom are great. One thing of note if you’re arriving in winter the heat will be set to 55 and with only baseboard heating available it’s cold for a bit but once it cranks up it works very well. Only negative is and this has nothing to do with the condo itself is, the steps down to the slopes are steep and in winter covered with snow/ice. The condo association itself should probably do a better job keeping those clear for its guest, especially given it’s arguably the top amenity offered. Overall excellent stay. Would come back.
