Unité 013 -Doit être gentil: vous voudrez rester ici encore et encore lorsque vous visiterez la paisible île de Dauphin pour votre escapade à la plage. Située sur le boulevard Bienville avec une vue magnifique sur le golfe et le son, cette nouvelle maison (termin������e en octobre 2018) du West End de Dauphin Island accepte les animaux domestiques et propose l'h��bergement idéal pour votre groupe. La grande cuisine est bien équipée avec une grande vaisselle et du matériel, avec des possibilités de restauration pour 8 + 2 tabourets au bar du petit-déjeuner. Must Be Nice dispose de trois chambres (deux roi et une reine). Des lits pliants supplémentaires sont disponibles (deux). Une buanderie est située dans le garde-manger, juste à côté de la cuisine. La maison est accessible aux personnes handicapées, avec des portes de 36 pouces, un ascenseur et un lit king-size dans la salle de bain principale. Chaque chambre est équipée d'une télévision à écran plat et le salon en a un aussi. Cette maison offre également Internet haut d��bit. Must Be Nice a deux grandes terrasses couvertes avec des chaises Adirondack et une vue magnifique. Un gril à charbon est également disponible.
Courte promenade à travers la rue vers les plages désertes du golfe du Mexique ou le détroit du Mississippi. Frais supplémentaires: Frais de nettoyage, taxe d'hébergement de 11%, frais de réservation non remboursable et exonération des dommages. Plenty of room for our family of 6. Short walking distance to the beach. It had beach chairs and toys so that was a plus.

Wonderful!

We had a fantastic time! The beach was close enough we could watch the waves on the deck and walk easily to enjoy the water. Everything was in working order and it was easy to settle in to our temporary home - so much so that our 4 year old cried when we left. Would definitely recommend!

Must Be Nice

The house was way more than we needed but we loved having so much room. The elevator for bags, cooler, groceries, etc…. Was a HUGE help! We will be back.

Great Front Porch

We really enjoyed our stay, the location to the beach was a very easy walk. The house was clean upon arrival and everything was as it was explained in the description. We will definitely be back to this property Just a FYI but not a deal breaker for staying here, the wiring or breaker for the back porch and kitchen area does need to be checked, I did read in previous reviews that this was an issue, but we adjusted to only using one light at a time. If you like a dark porch to sit on at night, the neighbors have very bright outdoor lights that stay on all night and they are permanent residents. Don't forget to ask for the elevator key when you check in, it is very very helpful on those rainy days.

Ok but a little disappointing

The house was well located near the beach, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was poorly equipped with lots of marginal knives, pots & pans, internet was non-existent until we were about to leave, the office staff was helpful given the circumstances and responded quickly to our maintenance requests. Additionally, the charges including taxes and fees were substantially more than the initial headline rate.

"Must Be Nice" was just that!

The location of the house couldn't have been better unless it was right on the beach, but the short walk wasn't really an inconvenience or far at all. The house was well equipped and clean, the elevator helped tremendously with getting everything up and down. The 2 decks made it great to look at the gulf or the Bay. There was 1 electrical issue we found with the spare bedroom outlet, if you plugged into the exterior wall outlet it would kick the breaker when you flipped on the bathroom light. The a/c was very cool and all appliances worked great. Had an amazing week and would stay there again.

This is listed as new construction does not look new we’ve stayed in others older that look much better. Kitchen is small, no trash bags provided not all kitchen supples in home, no cleaning supplies other than broom and vacuum. Very limited 2 loads each washer and dishwasher soap. Lift comes in handy WiFi is very iffy. We will be back to the island but not this property.

Mom’s 80th birthday trip

The house was perfect for our needs. Just wish Hurricane Ida hadn’t shortened out stay to less than 24 hours! The house had plenty of room and amenities and the staff made check-in a breeze. Hope we can go back to stay for several days in the future.

Won’t be staying again.

Unfortunately not all staff can be perfect. We’ve been staying in dolphin Island for roughly 6 years. It’s our favorite family place. We love the island and adore the people. We stayed in the must be nice unit. And unfortunately it was the worst experience we’ve had on the island. Poorly cleaned unit when we arrived. There is trash all over the yard. The dryer didn’t work. One of the bedroom light wouldn’t stay on because it’s got a poor fuse. The kitchen was very poorly stocked. The pans in the unit need to be replace the paint on them is coming off. And anytime we spoke with a CP when are they really cared or not they kind of acted like they did not. ACP was very wishy-washy he said they were going to replace the pan they said they were going to bring us another set they did not. They said they were going to send a repair man out for the dryer we stayed home that Monday because I being a traveler don’t want some stranger there with all my things. No one showed up all day. And no one communicated with us about the situation.

So much bang for your buck

This place is a gem. Well appointed household, breathtaking view, PLENTY of space for an extended family stay. The house is across the street from the beach, and it's such a quiet neighborhood that even in the summer, there's barely a car driving on the street; super safe for the kiddos to walk to the beach. Make sure to stop for groceries off island, as the nearest super market is 18 miles away and the local market is quite expensive. We baked breads and calzones and home cooked every meal, as the kitchen had all the essentials. The management company is extraordinarily helpful and accommodating. If I had one complaint it would be really reaching to find a flaw. I would recommend a more thorough cleaning after pet stays, as a fair bit of dog hair was evident on the furniture, floors, and comforters. Probably because it was a same day turnaround from the previous renters, so the cleaners may not have had as much time as they would have liked. Understanding that the house is listed as pet friendly, I expected some level of that to be reflected when we arrived. I'm certain they would have sent a cleaner in to remedy this had we complained but no worries, there are fully functional washer, dryer, and brooms provided so after a quick cleanup it was good as new. It didn't detract from our enjoyment one bit. I would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend the property to friends.

Great for family gathering

We very much enjoyed our stay. The property was as described with good views of the Gulf and the Bay. It was well equipped. While there were some negatives, they did not greatly impact our visit. The negatives were the steep, long stairs which are common on Dauphin Island, difficulty in operating the smart lock on the door and sand in one of the beds (which made us wonder if the sheets had been changed). The elevator mitigated the steep stairs, which were only a problem because my wife and I are in our late 70’s. Amy was extremely helpful with the lock and with getting a spare elevator remote to us as well as expediting the return of a couple of credit cards that my granddaughter had inadvertently left in the unit. Overall, we were very pleased.

LOCATION!

The location of this property is amazing! The beach is right across the street and isn't very crowded. The size was great for 3 adult couples and the beds were so comfy! Only complaint is both of the shower curtains in the bathrooms had a tiny bit of mold and they were broken. They just need to be replaced, which is an easy fix. The overall Island is nice, but there aren't a lot of food options, I am glad we brought food down with us to cook. We had a great time and we will be back!

One major thing to know

Everything was perfect but being a first timer to the island we learned the first day that the folks that rent the houses directly on beach try to bully you into not being any where near their rental on the beach. They will try to tell you that it is part of rental agreement but this is not true. We learned this from property manager so we were told when they say anything tell them to call someone this will usually deflate the situation if not be sure to report them because the beach front is open to all renters. Be respectful but do not be bullied.

It was nice

Enjoyed our stay. Got ran off a day early for the tropical storm but overall had a good week. Kitchen was a bit smaller than I'd like but knew this from the pictures. Beach access was good, right next to the St. Stephens access. Get up early and sit on the back deck, you might get to see a pod of dolphins swimming along the beach.

We had a wonderful time! Went to almost all of the restaurants. Would recommend getting groceries before coming to house, as there only so many places to eat at. Loved the realized atmosphere! Will be back!!

Great house and location

Perfect location for the house; easy beach access, not crowded, but still close to the town center. Covered decks provided shelter from the sun and view of gulf or bay. House was well equipped. Rental team was helpful. Would definitely rent again.

Relaxing Vacation

Great friendliness from company rhat manages this property. Good location and floor plan. Decks on both side very nice and short walk to beach Perks - Dog friendly, cornhole, and lift for moving gear. Could be better - deck chairs - two tall one give good view of beach. Lower ones are nice but lack view. Tall and short chairs make it difficult to talk to each other. I would still rent again with no second thoughts - just providing the good and atleast one not so good.
