The small “chateau” was as described and shown in pictures, with all the essentials, clean, quiet and well located within walking distance of many restaurants and sites around the city.

My sister and I stayed at the flat during our Paris vacation. Denis was so wonderful to work with. He answered all of our questions, made some good recommendations for places to eat nearby and suggested we purchase a transportation pass. The flat was comfortable and had basic staples, fruit, coffee and flowers waiting. There’s a market right next door which was very convenient. It’s perfectly located with easy access to the Metro, bus and walking around the district. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The location was the best thing for us about this rental. It was quiet, off the road, and close to shops and restaurants. The unit is somewhat worn and some appliances did not work. The unit is located in the outside courtyard of a larger apartment building where recycling etc is kept. We found it a little closed in. The bedroom and bathroom are on the top floor. The stairs to get there are narrow and there's very little space between the top of the stairs, the bedroom and the very small bathroom, so the unit doesn't seem like a good fit for people with mobility issues, children, and elderly people. The hosts were responsive and the person responsible for cleaning met us there and let us in. The hosts provided fresh fruit, water and juice, which was a bonus.

Very nice place to stay. Terrific location. The hosts were very responsive. I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone interested in staying in a wonderful Paris location.

Great location- close to the Metro, bakery and grocery store and convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. The apartment is not big but packed with personality and all the basics you’d need, clean, comfortable and well kept. Hosts Annegret and Denis are lovely and on-site manager Fee was terrific. I would definitely rebook here. But note, you do need to be able to get up and down a relatively narrow set of stairs. Loved this place.

Our stay for a week was wonderful. Denis and Annegretoffered us many good suggestions based on our interests, and the neighborhood was delightful, as was the terrace, where we had morning coffee. The two parks on our street were worth spending time in, and the restaurant Au Pied du Fouet was a real favorite of ours. The apartment was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. We also appreciated the flowers, the fresh fruit and the water that were there on our arrival. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Paris. Thank you to Fée, Denis and Annegret!

Would absolutely stay here again! It’s a little gem!

Stayed here for 4 days with family(3 of us) and it was perfect! Location is Amazing and we loved having the little table in the courtyard for breakfast and evening wine.

Great property and fantastic hosts! It was perfect for me and my sister. It was tucked away in the back so very quiet and comfortable. Nicely supplied and our hosts even provided water and juice! Bonus they had the apartment decorated for Christmas!l Be sure to ask for restaurant recommendations! They did not steer us wrong. can’t wait to go back!

"Le Chateau" was fabulous! We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a "home base" while in Paris. The host was so attentive and checked in with us several times during our stay. You will not go wrong if you book this petit gem!

I had a great stay and was well taken care of by Denis. The little house was very quiet and to my liking in every way. It was clean and comfortable, and everything worked well. Denis was very responsive to questions and the check-in was easy and smooth. The location is great, just a couple blocks from Rue du Bac, and I also shopped at the Marché Saxe-Breteuil nearby. I would definitely return here on my next trip to Paris!

Loved it!! It was just right for the two of us. Check in was a breeze. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything that we needed. The grocery store next door was great! Denis and Anegrete were wonderful hosts. I’m definitely coming back!

geat location for anything from the Eiffel Tower to the Latin Qurter to the d'Orsay museum to Bon Marche, which is like Bloomingdales on steroids. Recommended.

Return to “The Petite Chateau”

We return to this property a year and a half after our initial visit and found it just as welcoming and accommodating. Fabulous location, immaculately clean…so much to love! Look forward to a third visit!
