Préparez-vous à être charmé lors de votre séjour dans notre refuge artistique superbement aménagé, à seulement 10 minutes à pied du théâtre chinois Grauman, au cœur de Hollywood. Prenez plaisir à dormir dans un lit sur mesure du propriétaire et sculpteur / photographe / cinéaste franco-américain Pascal Giacomini, qui a construit à la main de nombreux meubles en bois et métal uniques et ravissants. Studio privé entièrement rénové avec accès à une cour luxuriante, un bain à remous et une cabane tropicale. Superbe nouvelle salle de bain avec murs en marbre et carrelage en pierre. Terrains et ateliers remplis de sculptures et d’art d’Haïti, de Papouasie-Nouvelle-Guinée, du Brésil, de Bali et de Thaïlande.

Ce n'est pas un espace partagé, c'est votre propre studio privé avec entrée séparée.

Situé dans le centre, avec de nombreux restaurants, un pub britannique, une galerie, une librairie et les meilleures margaritas de la ville, tous accessibles à pied. 10 minutes à pied de Runyon Canyon pour une randonnée spectaculaire. 5-10 minutes en voiture de Trader Joe, Whole Foods, Sprouts et plus de salles de cinéma.

We had a wonderful stay. Pascal and Carine were warm, thoughtful hosts, and the property was comfortable, welcoming, and full of character. One of the unexpected highlights was getting to know a little about their lives and work as artists and learning about Galerie Lakaye, their gallery devoted to Haitian and contemporary art. It gave the stay a sense of place and personality that you just don’t get from a typical rental.We really enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again. Highly recommended, especially for anyone who appreciates art, interesting people, and a place with a story behind it.

Location, location, location…. And a great host! Perfect accommodation for two in a very comfortable setting that’s Central to the Walk of Fame in Hollywood and so much more. Public transportation was very close by with ease to the train stations for the B and E lines. The pool and hot tub as well the surroundings were warm and welcoming too. Carine was very friendly and hospitable and had great suggestions for unique local sites and restaurants. She was very communicative and getting checked in was simple with great instructions and pictures of the key pad locations and codes. I highly recommend this space as a must visit and stay. Thank you Carine!

What a sweet place to stay! So many nice touches - bathrobes, friendly cat, bottle of wine upon our arrival, beautiful art throughout the property, friendly & welcoming hosts, a great DVR collection of films, relaxing cabana and gardens. So great! We look forward to a return visit!

Carine and Pascal are wonderful hosts. They are friendly, but give you all the privacy you want. Communication is easy. The cottage is equipped with everything you need in the kitchen, bath, living area and bedroom. Bonus if you want a soak in the hot tub. We loved the art surrounding us inside and out: A ton (literally?) of creative metal sculptures and joyful colors. This place is a quiet oasis in Hollywood.

Hôte : Carine Giacomini

Carine Fabius is a Haitian-American author, museum curator and art dealer. Pascal Giacomini is a French-American sculptor, photographer & filmmaker. We are a married couple who met in Los Angeles, started a Haitian art gallery in our home (Galerie Lakaye was written up in Vanity Fair Magazine!). We love to cook, entertain, hang out with our friends and we love the arts! In a former lifetime, Pascal used to be a tour guide, so he knows L.A. like the back of his hand, and can recommend the best places and sites for you to visit, if you want to see the REAL L.A.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

We looked for a long time before finding this house, which is a traditional Craftsman house built in 1913. Its charm captured our hearts the first time we saw the "for rent" sign and looked in through the living-room window! We lived in it for 10 years before buying it in 1999. We would never go anywhere else. We love this neighborhood and we have the best neighbors.

When you are on our property, you have the best that L.A. has to offer. You are right in the center of Hollywood, but you feel like you are in the countryside because of all the lush landscaping. It's beautiful and quiet here. And people always tell us that they feel a sense of peace when they enter the premises.
