Maui stay

We enjoyed staying at Kamaole Sands. Just a short walk to the beach and a quiet pleasant stay with several nice amenities such as the pool and hot tub to relax in after a day of hiking and site seeing.

Great location! This space is away from the road, which keeps it quiet, and has a view of the ocean and pool. It is walking distance to restaurants and shops, and Kamaoles 1, 2, and 3. The entire complex is well maintained and there is a concierge on-site to schedule any adventures and rentals of paddle boards, pickle ball or tennis equipment. Owner has all you need for a beach outing.

We had a wonderful stay a...

We had a wonderful stay at Kameole Sands unit 5-202. The condo was well taken care of and the whole complex itself was nice and quiet. I would definitely recommend anyone who's going to Maui to stay at this condo.

Great stay!

I had a great time in Kihei, the condo was great! The pictures are fully accurate, and the location is great. The condo is stocked with everything you’d need, including beach gear like chairs and umbrella. Check in and check out were easy, and communication with Jennifer was also super easy! Would totally stay here again, and would recommend!

Kihei Fun

The condo is in a lovely location just a short walk to the beach. Our place was fully equipped with everything to make it a home away from home and fun times at the beach. We even could watch the sunsets from the lanai.

We picked a great place!

This was our first time booking through vrbo.com! This place exceeded our expectations. We were especially pleased to find beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas for our use. The condo was clean, well decorated, quiet, and was just a perfect place for the two of us. The owners were very good to talk to over the phone as well.

Maui 2024

We had a fabulous 16 day stay here at Kamaole Sands. The condo was perfect. It is stocked with everything one would need from kitchen supplies, to extra towels to a very handy wagon. The condo is in a great location, and we recommend it to anyone looking for a fun place to stay

Perfect for an Anniversary getaway

We enjoyed our stay. It was close enough to walk to Kam III, which was the best place to watch the sunset. Great snorkeling as well. The pool/hut tubs got a little busy in the evenings, but it was Spring Break. There were plenty of towels, and beach gear. It was nice to have the A/C, but we really only used it for about an hour when we got back from the day's activities.

Very comfortable condo

The condo was clean and spacious. The cupboards were well stocked with dishes and utensils for preparing our own meals. Thanks for allowing us to use the beach towels and equipment! Jen was very responsive to questions prior to booking.

Best condo I’ve stayed in in my 17 years of going to Hawaii.

This place was amazing. Clean, and had more amenities than I’ve ever had at any other condo. In fact I was so happy this host was so patient with me. I had left my code several times in the condo and needed to reach her, and she was on it. I will definitely go there again, but I’ve noticed it’s very popular and hard to get in so plan way in advance.

Great place to stay!

The rental unit was perfect for our family. My kids (ages 14 and 12) absolutely loved the complext and the ease of being able to walk to the beach. I appreciated the upgraded kitchen that was well equipped with plenty of dishes, pots and pans and many utensils. We were able to eat 2 meals per day in the condo so we reduce our eating out expenses. The unit was also very quiet. I would highly recommend renting this unit.

We are happy to hear that the condo was perfect for your family. It is a great location - close to the beach and overlooking the pool. Families seem to enjoy the ability to eat meals in the condo and cook on the barbeque grills scattered throughout the complex.

Beautiful Stay in Kamaole Sands

We stayed at between May 6 -May 15. Beautiful stay. This resort is well equipped with Kitchen and laundry facilities. Ocean us right across the resort and you enjoyed watching sunset every day from Lanai. From the day we did reservations Jenifer was quite supportive and answered all our questions. Lots of beaches nearby. Wailea beach is the best which is just 7min drive from the resort. We would love to stay again. Thanks a lot Jennifer for all your help. Reshma Reddy & Kris Reddy

I was grateful for a late check out.However, the unit needs a very deep clean. There were items in the unit that were broken and the pillows were VERY uncomfortable. I mentioned this to the host but nothing was done. The shower door was broken, there were cupboard doors peeling and drawers falling apart in the kitchen. We caught a cockroach in the dining room. The beach chairs were broken and the beach towels were ripped. It wasn’t what I was expecting. It just left a bad impression on us.

I love the grounds here. Have stayed in building 10 before which is amazing. This time staying in building 5 which is closer to the pool. It was nice with the views over the gardens and the ocean in the background. The condo its self was decent! Our only complaint was the air conditioner in main bedroom was broken and it took 4 days out of our 8 days there to fix. The trade winds were minimal so it got warm in there without movement. And the condo could used a good deep cleaning in the corners. The property manager was responsive which was nice but unfortunate it sounded like they knew this was a possibility but didn’t fix prior to us getting there. Overall I would stay in Kamaole Sands every time in Maui!
