Laurie's Dream apartment is located in an absolutely perfect spot overlooking the promenade and the sea. The balcony was great for having breakfast and lunch. It is in the old town and very close to shops, bakeries and lovely restaurants.

We had a fantastic 28-day stay. Catherine and Philippe were exceptional hosts—warm, responsive, and incredibly helpful. Catherine’s binder of information and local tips were spot-on, and Philippe was of great help too. The apartment itself is beautiful, with a stunning ocean view framed by palm trees. Perfectly located near the market and in the heart of town. Menton is a gem, with amazing hikes, restaurants, and easy train access along the coast. Highly recommend.

Great holiday in Menton

A great base for a short holiday in Menton. Location is fantastic and we had a warm welcome by Catherine. We enjoyed overlooking the sea and beaches, and it was fun to watch the Lemon Festival floats pass by from the balcony.

A truly delightful apartment with a well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed and furniture and two magic balconies. So very close to the beach just across the road. Beach towels and chairs provided. Communication with Catherine and Philippe was very easy and in extremely good English. Bus stop to the free ‘La Navette’ electric town bus just across the road although just about everything in Menton is within walking distance. Catherine has great recommendations for restaurants, boulangeries and cheese shops. The market is a must! The only small negative is that we found the cleaning fee a bit high. Overall excellent 5 day stay. We will be back.

This centrally located and recently renovated apartment had everything we needed plus a stunning ocean and beach view. Unbelievable sunrises and -sets, day after day. Catherine’s reception and introduction to the apartment was very much appreciated. Everything was very easy for a great and relaxing stay!

Laurie's Dream had everything we could possibly have wished for. Location, proximity to shops, car parking, and ,for the adventurous cyclist, fabulous routes into the Alpes Maritimes.

Menton Magic

Great location to all facilities, beach, restaurants, train and buses. The property was excellent, however needed maintenance on the entry door (difficult to open) and the pillows needed updating. We would stay at this property again.

Wonderful Experience and a Great Location

Philippe and Catherine were always available and responded quickly on the few occasions I had a question. The apartment is well appointed and has remarkable views. The beach is right across the street and there are two balconies. I will be back!

Great location and beautiful appartement

We spent 2 weeks in Menton, enjoying the perfect location of the apartment. The view from the 2 balconies is absolutely amazing and the apartment is furnished with all we needed. We enjoyed the fact that we could walk to the narket, bakery und supermarket without using the car. We will come back again.

Loved staying at the property. The water view was phenomenal, as advertised. The location had proximity to everything I required on my ten day stay. The host Catherine could not have been more helpful. The cookies and wine on check in was a nice touch and she was able to accommodate my earlier check in, which was brilliant given the long flight from Australia. Would thoroughly recommend this property and Menton unreservedly.

Perfect spot!

Laurie's Dream was the perfect place for us to stay on our recent week in Menton. The apartment is beautiful with great sunlight, cute balconies, and an incredible view of the sea. It is SO convenient to cafes, the market, and the beach. It is decorated nicely, is very clean, and had everything we needed to live comfortably for the week-- even beach chairs, beach towels, and an umbrella in case it rained. The bedroom was quiet and dark. The kitchen had everything we needed. We would gladly return here any time-- many thanks!

View of palm trees & the blue sea

All clean & tidy & very comfortable. Bedroom pleasantly quiet. Sitting room is light & airy with wonderful view of palm trees & the sea which was just warm enough for swimming. Beach clean, dog free & not crowded. The check-in time advised by Abritel differed from the time we were allowed in.

Better than expected

We arrived at our destination and were warmly greeted by Catherine. She was so pleasant and personable. She took us to the apartment and showed us where things were and went over all kinds of helpful info- trains, bus schedules , walks, hikes. There were beach chairs and beach towels too, which was great. Lots of amenities in the apartment The two balconies are perfect for watching the world go by - lots to do in Menton and area or just relax at the beach We have stayed at a number of VRBO’s and Catherine was top notch - her husband Philip popped by at check out and he was also very personable and easy to chat with too Aces for sure Jan and Jim - Ontario Canada

Perfect break

Light and airey property with air conditioning. Lovely large lounge with a wonderful view onto the beach and great little balcony for people watching. Comfortable bed and plenty of wardrobe space and hangers plus another larger balcony. Kitchen very small but well equipped and perfectly adequate for a holiday. Enjoyed popping to the market most days for fresh produce . Catherine met us for a smooth check in and gave us lots of information , recommendations and helpful advice on the local area. Literally opposite the beach so great to have towels, beach mat, chairs and parasol for guests use.( Just remember to pack your beach shoes as enterering the sea from the rocky beach can be difficult). A wonderful apartment and would definitely use again.
