Vues fascinantes. Refroidissement, alizés confortables: Coconut Breeze est la villa que vous cherchiez: une vue imprenable sur Coral Bay, East End, Sir Francis Drake Channel, BVI et la mer au-delà. Le refroidissement des alizés vous gardera dans un confort parfait avec rarement le besoin de la climatisation installée dans toutes les chambres. Bien que vous ne souhaitiez jamais quitter le porche couvert relaxant et la vue sur la carte postale sur la piscine scintillante et la mer parsemée d'îles, vous n'êtes qu'à quelques minutes des belles plages de la côte nord.

La propriété se compose d'un total de 3 chambres à coucher, 3-1 / 2 salles de bains: une maison principale de 2 chambres et 2-1 / 2 salles de bain et une maison d'hôtes séparée pour 2 personnes supplémentaires si nécessaire. Chaque chambre a sa propre salle de bain. La chambre principale dans le salon supérieur a un lit king, vue sur l'île / la mer et bénéficie d'une grande salle de bain attenante à double lavabo avec grande douche. La chambre inférieure privée avec lit queen et salle de bain attenante se dirige directement vers la terrasse de la piscine et bénéficie d'une douche extérieure rafraîchissante surplombant les îles pittoresques au-delà. Pour plus de 4 personnes, la maison d'hôtes éloignée fournira une autre 3ème chambre très privée avec lit queen, salle de bain complète, kitchenette et véranda spacieuse donnant sur Coral Bay ci-dessous. Le canapé du salon de la maison principale se déplie en un lit queen comme espace pour les 7ème et 8ème personnes, si vous le souhaitez. Il y a un demi-bain pratique situé dans le salon principal.

La villa surplombe Coral Bay avec ses bars, restaurants et boutiques colorés. Alors que la musique live peut être trouvée la plupart des nuits à Coral Bay, la musique s'éteint avant trop tard et les sons du choeur de la grenouille arboricole de l'île fournissent votre symphonie naturelle pour le reste de votre soirée sur ce côté calme de l'île.

L'accès routier à Coconut Breeze est principalement pavé, mais il y a encore des sections de routes non pavées et en terre. Par conséquent, une Jeep ou un SUV à 4 roues motrices est requise. Certaines parties de la route en béton sont assez raides, donc si ce n'est pas l'aventure que vous recherchez, nous vous encourageons à chercher ailleurs pour votre location. Il y a un nouveau pavage en béton le long de la partie supérieure la plus raide juste avant l'allée. Pour ceux qui aiment le plaisir, Coconut Breeze ne vous décevra pas comme votre prix pour votre montée aventureuse de 3 minutes dans votre Jeep.

Coral Bay dreams!

Great place for large families or groups of friends traveling together. Amazing views from the deck and pool. Make sure you have an all wheel or 4x4 vehicle.

Fantastic Views

The house has views that are simply amazing. Looking out at the sunrise, Coral Bay, BVIs, the open ocean, clouds, rainbows was great all week long. The road up to the house is an adventure and the place is well set up for our group of four. Enough outdoor space to sit in sun by pool, but also plenty of shade when you need to get out of the sun. A lovely place for a vacation on St. John.

Awesome second visit

We love this home. The view is spectacular and the home is an oasis! We love the grill and sitting on the back porch to have our coffee and breakfast! The kitchen is very well equipped and great nightlife and restaurants within 10 mins! We’ll be back soon!

Paradise in Coral Bay

This VRBO is more than we ever could have hoped for. The view is spectacular and it is a private oasis second to none. Don’t miss out on this one. You definitely must have a jeep and it’s a little intimidating the first time you drive up the road but after that it’s totally fine. The greeter, Kelly, was so helpful to us and the hosts were very responsive.

Restful and relaxing

Great view of CoralBay. House has everything to enjoy the pool and beach including chairs, floats and sandless towels. The road to the house is steep but that is characteristic on the island. Rent a 4wheel drive jeep.

Beautiful views and a bumpy road

Very comfortable house in Coral bay. The road to get to it is partially paved and very steep- not unusual for St John. The owners make it clear you need a 4 wheel drive to get to it and they aren’t exaggerating. We had some water issues because of a running toilet and Fred and Kelly were on top of it. Beds are comfortable and air conditioning worked well. Best views in StJohn!

Thanks for your kind review. We do apologize for the running toilet and for any inconvenience it may have caused. It appears to be working correctly after the repair. As a benefit to our fellow Villa owners in Coral Bay and parts beyond, if you are renting a Villa with cistern rain water as its precious and sole source of water, if you notice a running toilet please try to remedy the problem or turn off the water valve at the wall. Something so benign as this back home in the states can be catastrophic on the far reaches of an island and quite expensive to remedy.

Big Reward

He road to the Villa was extremely steep and rugged. Great Jeep commercial highlighting the adventure and joy of needing one! Once we got there, the views were spectacular, more than big reward for the drive. The house was clean and well appointed for anything we wanted to do there or as we explored beaches and snorkeling. Wonderful visit!

We stayed at this property over Christmas break. The view is simply amazing!!! Owners and property manager are super helpful. House is very well equipped. Everything we needed was in the kitchen. Beds were comfy. AC worked excellent in the bedroom. The drive up is crazy! We absolutely loved it! A 4WD is a must, but totally worth it. We would definitely return.

Dreamy home with the Ultimate view!

This home is well maintained, beautifully furnished, and the perfect place to stay in Coral Bay! Everything you could ever want in a vacation home!! I would wake up each morning run to the window to make sure I was not dreaming. The bed in the master guest room was very comfortable my husband said I slept so soundly I forgot to snore.:) I will cherish the sweet memories my family made at Coconut breeze. Incredible!

Week in paradise

We had an excellent stay at Coconut Breeze Villa for a week. The owners were very prompt in answering questions, and on island greeter very helpful in leading us up to the house and getting us situated. This was our 3rd trip to Coral Bay, and we love this general location. It’s a “St John Style” driveway/road approach, but the location and views are SO worth it! This house is very close to the Dolphin Market, Johnny Lime, Surf Club Cantina, etc… It’s easy to get to either North Shore beaches, east end beaches, or Salt Pond. We were a multi generation group who enjoyed being all together yet having separate spaces this home offered. The bedrooms had cool AC, and comfy beds. The kitchen was well appointed. The pool was nice to take an evening dip, and to keep kids busy while dinner was cooked. Having laundry makes packing much lighter. There are coolers, beach chairs, snorkel equipment, beach towels, and floaties for use. We managed to pack in only “personal items” for this trip!

Coconut Breeze

Just returned from 6 day stay at Coconut Breeze. As many has stated the view cannot be beat and I miss having my coffee outside overlooking Coral Bay. The setup of the house worked beautifully for my family with a separate cottage for my son and his girlfriend and 2 bedrooms in the main house for me and my husband and my daughter. It was a perfectly well appointed house with pool, outdoor grill , air conditioning , washer/ dryer and all amenities you need. I had much communication with the owner Eileen prior to my visit. She was very responsive answering promptly and was helpful. The only negative I can say is the drive up a steep and sometimes unpaved road to the house. You absolutely need a 4 wheel drive. We did adapt to it after a few times however. We had a great time and loved this house!

best views just needs a bit of upkeep

We have stayed on St John 7 times and these were the best views yet! The house was as listed, though could have had a more thorough cleaning for the cleaning fee. There were plenty of towels but some of the beach towels could use replacing. The air conditioners were very quiet and more than enough on warm nights. Loved having the donkeys visit in the evening. There were plenty of kitchen supplies. My main issue was with the condition of the beach chairs , there were only 2 that were usable and those had broken straps . As a group of 6 we had to take turns sitting in the chairs at the beach. I was also surprised with covid around that the hand soaps has been watered down. Overall we had a great time just a bit of upkeep needed.

Amazing views

There were six of us there celebrating my birthday and it was roomy enough (with the cottage) to not get in each others way but to enjoy our company. House is terrific; kitchen fairly well equipped and master bedroom especially roomy. My only issues were that none of the TV's worked for the entire week and all of us would have like to have more than our phones to keep up with coronavirus news and to watch the Democratic debate. The owners tried to get them going but it wasn't possible (they use DISH satellite, not cable). The owners were also very on top of our request to address the mouse smell in the kitchen although they couldn't get anyone there to fix it. I've had a similar problem in my home last year so wasn't mistaken; also everyone there smelled it every time they opened the dishwasher or was at the sink. Needless to say, we didn't let it keep us from having a wonderful time. I would definitely recommend this house if you don't need a reliable tv.

We're happy to hear you had a wonderful time! Our apologies about the mouse - it did take a couple of trips from our villa caretaker to find the offensive smell, but finally took care of that. Also, the DISH repairmen would not service any house during the height of the Covid scare, so we had to wait that out. I'm happy to report all TVs (one in each bedroom and in the living area, as well) are all working properly again. We'd love to have you back!

Amazing views! Perfect for our family w kids 15, 12, and 8. Clean and plenty of room. Pool is nice. Amazing views. Road to house a little steep, but manageable in a Jeep. Great location and easy access to Salt pond cove, Rams Head, Mrs Lucy’s and a few other spots for lunch and dinner. Direct TV didn’t work for us during our stay, but Netflix’s and Hulu fine. Snorkeling gear worked great although a few need clips to hold snorkel to mask. Chairs worked fine. Amazing snorkeling on the island. 5 stars. We will stay here again.

Stay at Coconut Breeze Villas

Had a great family stay at Coconut Breeze Villas with adult family members. The property was as described and the vacation was very relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked with all the pots/pans, flatware, etc typically needed. There is also a large selection of seasonings and other items like olive oil and coffee. Every bedroom area has a deck facing Coral Bay so you can easily sit outside and enjoy the views without disturbing others in the party. The property was very quiet with many beautiful landscaping flowers. The pool was a nice added touch but the water was cool in March and the pool deck was shady in the afternoons. The drive up from Coral Bay is 1/2 mile long and very steep. Lots of places indicate a Jeep 4x4 is required for access to island villas, but we rented an AWD Rav4 and had no problems. All the roads on St John are narrow and steep so we appreciated our smaller rental cars. The two grocery stores in Coral Bay had plenty of food and drink options, but some of the Coral Bay restaurants closed due to Covid and haven't reopened. The four local restaurants open during our stay were Skinny Legs, Limeout, Wok on the Beach and a pizza bar. Lots of great snorkeling. Went to Cinnamon Bay (beautiful fine sand beach), Waterlemon Cay (one mile walk to snorkel put-in, saw lots of fish, coral, turtled, rays, and a small nurse shark), and Hansen Beach where double kayaks could be rented for $20 per day. The hike out to Rams Head was pretty and not too strenuous and Annaberg Sugar Plantation (right at the start of the trail to Watelemon Cay) was definitely worth visiting. Overall a really nice stay in a very beautiful villa.

The veiw can not be beat!!

We have been visiting St. John for 20+ years and this was our first time in staying in Coral Bay, I was not disappointed. The veiw from this villa is one that shouldn't be missed!! It's the perfect place to stay on the quiet side during busy season. The driveway was about what we expected for being in Coral Bay and no more adventurous than driving on St John anywhere else. I wouldn't plan on using the house beach chairs again as they where rusty and only half working I definitely would not call that a deal breaker. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would stay here again. Thank you for the chance to share your house in paradise.

“Adventurous, beautiful view”

I’ll start with the best parts….. the VIEW was GORGEOUS once we got to the house. The house was well stocked with any necessary kitchen dishes, pans, appliances, etc. Beds were comfortable. There were coolers and beach chairs (several old and a couple newer ones). Restaurant choices were minimal in Coral Bay, they were closed some days and closed early on the days open (by 8pm so go to dinner early). There is a nice grocery store very close by. Prices are high but as expected. We had 7 adults in our party (my parents in their late 70’s and our 3 grown daughters). The guest cottage was a great addition to the property, however was not cleaned and ready upon our arrival around 8pm. We had to sweep and put clean sheets on the bed. The owner had a hard time finding anyone to clean and it took 3 days for someone to come clean, however he did text us every day about the situation and felt bad. We managed but it was very disappointing to not have that space clean, especially during Covid. The 3 girls stayed in the guest cottage due to the walk up to the main cottage. It would have been a lot for my parents. I read all of the reviews about the driveway, but it was steeper and more rugged than I expected. With that said, the entire island is more mountainous that I knew, so be prepared. (We rented 2 four door jeeps and wouldn’t have it any other way). It was truly gorgeous though. The drive from the airport was a challenge in the dark. The manager did not meet us at the car rental so we were on our own for the 30 minute drive to Coral Bay. Every VRBO that I have rented in the USVI’s had scheduled the property manager to meet and lead us to our house. If you’ve been to St. John before it may not be a big deal, but if it’s your first time, I would be sure they meet you at the car rental and lead the way, especially in the dark. Do not take Highway 10, take Highway 20 on the north side. The view is much better and the roads are much smoother (it’s only about 5 extra minutes…… wish we had known that ahead of time). The pool was very pretty but only gets morning sun. Not a big deal for us since we went to beaches every day, but didn’t relax at the pool before dinner, like we usually do. Overall, house was as expected and beaches were beautiful. We loved St. John and hope to return again!

Thank you for your very thorough review! The view is as wonderful as you described. You are correct that we felt bad about the cottage that had not been cleaned. That’s totally unacceptable. Although our previous cleaner had always done a very good job we had to move on to a new, more reliable cleaning company. We certainly wouldn’t want a repeat of your unfortunate experience. Also, the bumpy part of the road has now been graded and filled in, so it’s a much nicer driving experience now. There is also a brand new whole house generator to protect our guests from island power outages. We do hope you’ll return and enjoy Coconut Breeze again soon.
