Family Christmas Retreat

Second year staying here and the weekend was wonderful! Spacious, comfortable and convient stores near by for wehen we had to run out for something. Highly recommended for large group gatherings.

Great Stay

We used the house for a work meeting. Since each bedroom has a bathroom, we were able to use it like a hotel. The kitchen was well equipped, the beach is super close. House was clean, communication was great. Highly recommend this property.

Great Family Reunion location

We had 42 family members from across the country meeting for a week long reunion. The house was a perfect place for the get together. The location is just a very short walk to the beach and everyone enjoyed the pool. Everything we needed was at the house.

Family Reunion 2024

56 family members shared the house—worked well. Great location. Plenty of different things to do in the area. We did a lot of cooking and found the kitchen had everything we needed except a pantry. Wish we would have rearranged where some things were kept to free up room to put things in the pantry closet that was being used for kitchen appliances.

What a gem!!!

Amazing property with all the essentials needed for a great stay. This house has a great kitchen and dining area, theater room, game room, pool area, parking, as well as comfy bedrooms. Access to Cherry Grove Beach is literally a 2 minute walk. Susan and Dina were very helpful with the booking process, and Carol, Mandy and Melisa were responsive and super helpful answering any questions we had regarding the house once we arrived. Put this one on your list as a must go to!

Family Reunion

Our stay at Cherry Grove was wonderful. We had over 50 people attend. There were plenty of bedrooms to accommodate everyone. The children loved the easy access to the beach. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. They answered my many questions with a smile. There were a few things in the house that didn’t work properly, but we worked around them and notified management at the end of our stay. They can get them fixed when the house is vacant. Everyone had a great time. I would definitely go back again.

Amazing beach house for a large group

We were a group of 20 college friends traveling with all our kids. This place was a rare find: everyone gets their own room (including the older kids), easy access to the beach, plenty of parking, and so many activities close by! We spent lots of time in the awesome pool on the property, too. The house was super clean and stocked with all the kitchen tools we needed when we arrived. Two stoves, three coffee makers, and three dishwashers meant that we never had issues cooking for the group or cleaning up after. Every time we had any questions, our contact for the rental was very quick to respond and resolve it. We’re already thinking about coming back for the next round of this trip!

Just a short walk across the street directly to public beach access made this great for beach goers. There was plenty of parking and was in a prime part of North Myrtle Beach. Would definitely book again!

This home worked well for our group of 15 people. Everyone had their own space and we got to enjoy the common area together. The game room was nice. Having a TV for presentations in the large kitchen worked really well. Multiple refrigerators and dishwashers was a huge plus. Some rooms were really small. All beds were hard as rocks. Pillows were super cheap. Overall, we would stay again.

Excellent location for a large group or family reunion. Plenty space with 20 bedrooms each with their own bathroom and a large kitchen/dinning area with long custom tables with seating fo 50 people. There are a ariety of sleeping room configurations from single queen beds, single king beds to rooms with double size bunkbeds and king or queen beds. A pooltable and foosball game are in the game room and there is a home theater that easily seated our group of 24 afults and 4 small children. We had a minor issue with the hot tub not heating one evening that was addressed within an hour of our contacting the property manager and a few issues with things like a faulty instant waterheater, a refrigerator that didn't cool properly and a clothes dryer that didn't work properly that were not addressed during our stay but did not detract from our stay, because of redundant appliances (3 instant waterheaters, 3 washer/dryer combinations, 3 refrigerators, 3 dishwashers) There were ample dushes, bowls, pots & pans, cookie sheets, etc. Starter supplies of dish soap, dishwasher soap and laundry soap, paper towels, liquid hand soap, etc. Would have been nice to have bath soap, shampoo and conditioner, but we also recognize personal preferences for those items. Towels, bedding, etc. were if good quality. Overall, we were very satisfied with this location and it's proximity to the beach. Yhe community offers concvenient beach chair & beach umbrella rentals.
