Thanks for the great review! The law regarding open flames in multi- family dwellings, restricts us from offering anything but electric grills and we are sorry if that limited your cooking! We love that you enjoyed your vacation at Family Tides and look forward to a return visit!

Thank you for your feedback! We strive to make each and every one of our guests feel at home! On occasion, especially when the responsible party or lease holder is not present at check-in, our directions are overlooked. We welcome the opportunity to impress you on your next vacation! This 4-level townhome, if you count the crow’s nest, has many stairs; 18 or less in each staircase to be exact, but it also has GREAT views!!!!! Guests unable to maneuver stairs usually ask for an elevator accommodation, but we appreciate the suggestion. Linen rental and bed making services are offered for an additional fee, but we never ask our guests to launder sheets or towels upon check-out, so we apologize for the misinterpretation. We provide a full exit cleaning, at no cost to our guests, but upon departure we ask that: ~All trash be placed in the appropriate trash cart ~Refrigerator/freezer and dishwasher be emptied Any remaining food products must be removed before our next check-in for health safety reasons. We make ourselves readily available and encourage our guests to reach out to us for ANYTHING. We are sorry that the electric grill was not working and if notified, we would have repaired or replaced it immediately! Damage issues are relayed to us immediately following our check outs as we have a small window of opportunity to make repairs. Travel insurance is also available to our guests for an additional fee. Wonderful. So glad you enjoyed our beautiful home. Family Tides is a great place to connect with family and friends and enjoy the beach life. Just park the car and walk to everything!

We are so happy that you thought the home was beautiful! We take pride in offering our guests clean and aesthetically pleasing vacation homes! One of the most impressive features that "Family Tides" offers is the private 3rd level master suite with the dual balcony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean! Most guests feel the stairs are worth the serenity that awaits at the top! Parking in our quaint beach town is limited and most attractions are only a short stroll away; but we are grateful you were able to park a 3rd vehicle in a public lot in a nearby location. Deposits are collected from all of our guests to cover any items that may be damaged; like the exterior rug. Accidents happen, and we were happy to have refunded the majority of your deposit after a replacement rug was purchased. While we are disappointed to receive a 1 star review, your commentary speaks highly of our home and we are happy that you enjoyed your vacation.
