Darling petite cabane juste sur la rivière Feather. La cour arrière est bordée par une large et profonde partie de la rivière. L'arrière de la cabine s'ouvre sur un pont avec une vue imprenable sur le fleuve et la forêt domaniale de l'autre côté. Réveillez-vous le matin et profitez de votre café tout en regardant les oies sur la rivière. Le pygargue à tête blanche local vole habituellement et parfois le héron fait une apparition. Incroyablement privé, pourtant juste en bas de la route du parcours de golf de Plumas et du restaurant Longboards, dans un petit quartier pittoresque de cabanes old-school. C'est une ancienne cabine familiale décorée avec soin avec les antiquités et les objets d'art personnels du propriétaire. Le salon et la salle à manger ouverts maximisent l'espace de vie, avec une porte-fenêtre coulissante et une fenêtre de 8 pieds donnant sur la rivière et la forêt. La cuisine spacieuse est ouverte sur le salon et a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour cuisiner. Vous y trouverez des casseroles et des poêles de haute qualité, ainsi que des articles essentiels comme le café, la farine, le sucre, les conserves, etc. La chambre principale dispose d'un lit king-size confortable, d'un coin salon et d'une salle de bains privative. La deuxième chambre a un lit queen. Il y a une salle de bain supplémentaire avec laveuse et sécheuse. La cour est clôturée et la propriété accepte les animaux domestiques. Le pont arrière sera meublé avec des chaises, un coin repas et un gril à gaz. Ceci est une propriété très spéciale et l'un des seuls chalets sur cette partie de la rivière qui est disponible en location de vacances.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The home owners equipped the house with lots of things one might need for activities, cooking/baking and emergencies. There was a weather warning during the course of our stay and the owner was understanding and flexible with our departure due to the conditions. A cozy place to stay in winter with a small group of friends, family, and kiddos.

Lovely cabin on the river

This is a lovely two bedroom house on the Feather River. It has a wonderful deck and large fenced yard overlooking the river. Very peaceful and a great neighborhood to walk.

Cozy Pet Friendly Holiday Getaway

Stayed 8 days with my pups for Christmas. Very quiet neighborhood with deer and turkey wandering through. Nice secure yard for small-medium dogs. We had a great time and would definitely recommend for a small group with or without pets.

Perfect tranquil weekend

This property is such a great little getaway spot. It’s right on the river and just beyond the 4th green of the adjacent golf course. The house had all the kitchen amenities we needed and was all in all the perfect cozy spot for our extended weekend getaway.

Lovely river house

Lovely house in the Feather River, very comfortable & well stocked. Fully fenced yard was perfect for the dogs. Safe forested neighborhood was excellent for walking. And big bonus were several wonderful restaurants close by.

Relaxing by the river

Beautiful and relaxing setting. The deck provides hours of viewing the wildlife along the river--beavers, otters, geese, ducks. Nice big kitchen with all the essentials and a great gas stove. We will return often.

Another wonderful stay in Graeagle!

Cheryl is a great host. She is very responsive and the house is extremely well stocked. Her property is ideally situated to enjoy the beauty of the area. It is centrally located on an idyllic spot along the Feather River where you can enjoy relaxing on the comfortably furnished deck watching the birds, otters, geese and whatever other wildlife come by.

Lovely little house on the Feather River

We just love this place - watching the birds on the river - so fun. We only over go in the winter since the place is so popular in the summer. I would be a little concerned going with small children, as you'd have to be an eagle with them because of the river's proximity.

This was our third visit to Cheryl’s house on the river. We had a wonderful time as always.We can’t get enough of the river view! The house is very well stocked. And cozy.And the Graeagle store is so close. Head there on Wednesday for fresh salmon and try their sausages. Also try Little Bite in Blairsden for lunch or dinner.So looking forwrd to our next visit.

Sierra Escape

We enjoyed everything! Comfortable beds, very well equipped kitchen, nice fireplace and great location. Watching the geese in front of a warm crackling fire with a cup of hot chocolate was just what we needed. Our dogs enjoyed the fully fenced yard and the view across the feather river is lovely. Many activities to enjoy in this area. We look forward forward to returning in the future.

I'm a retired Army officer now studying to be an artist. I spend my time indoors in the studio, at museums or cooking for friends. Otherwise, I like to be outdoors. I spend time traveling, hiking, golfing, skiing and just took up kayaking. Most recently I’ve walked the Camino de Santiago, visited the Christmas markets in Germany and Austria and hiked the Alps in Garmisch, Germany.

My family is originally from Nevada City, in the foothills. We spent our summers up in the mountains when I was growing up. Although I've travelled and lived all over the world, I still consider the Sierras some of the most beautiful country on the Earth. Plumes Pines, here at Graeagle, is the perfect place. The location is spectacular. I always dreamed of owning a cabin on the river and felt so blessed when this property came up for sale a few years ago. The views are to die for. I love sitting on the couch in the morning, drinking coffee and watching the river flow by. I can walk out to the river and watch the birds and wildlife from my own backyard.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The river views, with nothing but forest on the other side. The train track runs through the forest and you get peekaboo views of the trains going by, but it's quiet enough that you hardly hear anything. It's especially pretty at night, with the lights from the engine and caboose flashing through the trees and a faint rumble as the train passes.
