Charmante Carpinteria Beach House à distance de marche de la plage et du centre-ville. Cette maison de 2 étages avec 3 chambres et cuisine gastronomique est parfaite pour vos prochaines vacances en famille. La maison est parfaitement située, à un pâté de maisons de la plage, à un pâté de maisons du magnifique marais salant et des sentiers pédestres et à deux pâtés de maisons du centre-ville. Le centre-ville de Carpinteria compte de nombreux magasins, restaurants, cafés et brasseries. Les enfants adoreront la boutique Candy Shop & Rincon Design Surf Shop de Robitaille.

My family comes to Carpinteria almost every summer and we have stayed at many many vacation rentals in the area. This was by far our favorite. It is a gorgeous house with excellent proximity to downtown and the beach. Highly recommend!

Excellent stay! The home was very spacious, homey and comfortable, had everything you could need with regards to the kitchen, linens/towels, beach gear and entertainment. Photos don’t do the patio justice - great fireplace was a nice surprise! Outdoor shower and plenty of space to unpack and clean up from the beach was really convenient. Easily walkable to anywhere you need to go. Hosts very nice and accommodating and responded immediately when we had a minor issue. Our family has stayed at several homes in Carpinteria and this one was perfect for us. We’ll be looking to book again next year!

The house was very clean, had everything you needed. You are close to the beach and town which is so nice not to drive. When I asked questions they responded quickly. Enjoyable stay! My friend rented the house a few years ago so she also had a great experience and I visited the house then too. I would totally rent it again. Thank you !

This is our second year staying in this lovely home with our children and grandchildren. We loved being near the beach and within walking distance of town and the train. This year we took it to Santa Barbara and back. It’s lovely to be in a place where one can park one’s car and walk everywhere. The house is clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The hosts are accommodating and respond quickly to questions. We hope to return next year!

We recommend you exit the house and go right on 3rd street then left on Ash street and three short blocks to a lifeguard with restrooms for an easy day at the beach! We brought a wagon and our own beach items so it was an easy way to go!With windows opened the home is comfortable. We only closed the first floor windows at night. During the day we we were told it was okay to leave bottom floor windows open. We opted to close only the kitchen nook area windows when we were gone during the day. With the extra fan in the 2nd floor and another in the living room we got great cross ventilation. Was warm upon arrival but quickly changed.The family room was terrific especially with dutchdoor open top along with huge ceiling fan!Walkable to all!Wendi and Brent were easy and responsive. Thank you for sharing your vacation home with us. A memorable stay.2 trivets and 4 more beach towels would make this a PERFECT stay for two families with kids.

The house was a great base for a week in Carp. A few blocks from the beach and just a 10 min walk to DT Carp. Communication before arrival was great and check in and check out was easy. The home was clean upon arrival. The kitchen is a great size and the TV room was a great extra space for crashing after beach days. There was beach equipment on the side yard and an outdoor shower, which is a must in this area. The only issue we had was air flow. We were there during a hot spell and the second story was very stuffy. There were fans through out but in order to get proper air flow in any room you had to have multiple going at once (the bunk room esp as the shutters block the window and we didn't love that when kids were staying in there). Other then that it was a great stay.

We’re glad you had an enjoyable stay overall. We are sorry that the unusually warm weather during your visit made the upstairs less comfortable. As noted clearly in our VRBO listing, however, the home does not have air-conditioning. This is fairly typical of beach homes in Carpinteria, particularly those located close to the ocean, where temperatures are generally moderate and coastal breezes are common. We do provide floor fans throughout the home to help with airflow and comfort. We always encourage guests to carefully review the amenities and property details in our listing before booking, particularly if air-conditioning is an essential requirement. We appreciate your feedback and are pleased that, aside from this issue, you described the home as a great base for your week in Carpinteria. As a Premier Host, this is only the second time we have not received a 5 STAR rating in the past 8 years.

Beach Bungalow in Carpenteria

What a wonderful place to stay! We were here from Colorado for our niece’s destination wedding and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect home away from home! Clean, comfortable, and close to the beach! I would definitely recommend this VRBO if you’re visiting this part of California!

We absolutely loved this place! We stayed for 6 days on a family reunion and it was perfect for the 8 persons there. Walking distance to the beach and shops. Lots of room, great kitchen, spacious places to gather, laundry room, fireplace, outdoor shower for cleaning off sand- we couldn't have asked for more. And the hosts were in contact to give recommendations and helpful local info. Highly recommended.

Can't say enough good things

We loved our stay at Wendi's property. This is our third year in Carpinteria for vacation, our second at this same property. Each trip is better than the last, so many memories at the beach. This home is so great for a family, homey and comfortable vibe. My sisters family and my own stayed for a week. And the double bunk room was perfect for the 4 kids. It has everything you could want and so close to the beach. I would stay every year if we could!

Amazing rental property

We had a wonderful long weekend in Carpenteria, attending a family wedding. Plenty of room for 6 adults and two toddlers. There is plenty of space with two separate living rooms/den. Well appointed kitchen. Lots of towels. Best VRBO that we have rented yet.

Great Place for a Family

This property was as we hoped it would be. We enjoyed being within walking distance of the beach, the train, the downtown and a children’s playground. The only time we used a car was to get to the Santa Barbara Zoo. Wendi was quick to respond to our questions and very accommodating. We are hoping to return next year. Fantastic Carpinteria Beach Cottage!

We stayed with 7 adults and one infant and had plenty of room. Neat 3 level setup with open spaces to hang out but separate enclaves as well. Great proximity - with an easy walk to a great beach and similar walk to downtown Carpinteria for mix of shops and restaurants. Quick trip to Montecito and Santa Barbara. Super clean and well-organized communication. We'll be back! Highly recommended!!

Carpinteria

This was a great home in a super location. Our 1 1/2 block walk to the beach was short and sweet. We were right next to the salt marsh with trails and a small amphitheater that our little girls loved to perform on. The Carpinteria/Santa Barbara/Ojai/Ventura area is full of lots of exploring opportunities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Fantastic!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house for a week in May 2025. It is a 5 min walk from the beautiful Carpenteria beach. 15 min walk to many restaurants and shops. The host provided everything we could possibly want from dish soap and scrubbers, paper towels and kitchen towels, to plenty of clean bathroom towels for our large family. There are even boogie boards, sun hats, and beach towels on site. The property is spacious and updated throughout. Best showers we've encountered at a VRBO property in CA. Back patio has some seating and a propane fireplace. We look forward to another opportunity to stay here!
