Guest room is probably really only big enough for 1 person and it’s a little out dated but overall no complaints. My husband and I brought my parents on vacation and we had a wonderful trip. This was my husbands first time to Florida and I was focused on finding a condo reasonably priced with a spectacular view of the ocean for drinking coffee in the mornings. This condo did not disappoint on that.

Wonderful place to stay. We stayed with our 4 and 2 year old and the trundle bed was great for not having to worry about them falling off the bed. Beds were comfortable and the balcony was amazing. Would stay here again!

View of ocean is breathtaking, pool is very nice and warm along with hot tub. Unit could use some updating. Location of condo is very convenient.

Great accommodation and location

Very nice place to stay. It is clean, the ocean view is wonderful, and it’s very close to The Back Porch!

I contacted Southern about 2 weeks before my stay and they never got back to me. I received email about needed to buy wristbands so I could park, use facilities and go to beach after I paid for room. One email said 5 each and another said 15 each. I received email about not needing to check in, all information will be in the room. Days later received an email saying I needed to check in. So I went to office and they had nothing for me. Stood there while clerk filled everything out. Got to room and information was in room but I got the check in email last so I did that. The room was very large but so outdated and worn. Furniture all scratched up, walls looked to not have been painted for 20 years, tops of fixtures and light shades covered in dust, ceiling fan light shade about to fall off so I told wife not to turn on, popcorn ceiling in bathroom falling off, electrical plate in master bedroom was fallen off exposing the outlet and wires. The place was in a good location to everything.

Destin Paradise

Perfect location....white sand, clear green ocean, 5 star restaurants, the Snowbirds and vacationers were so friendly....heated pool for those cool days.....perfect setting for a vacation..

Anniversary Get Away

We were very pleased with the size of the unit as well as how stocked the kitchen was with dish ware and cooking utensils. The balcony had a beautiful view of the ocean. The pool and grounds were upkept very well!

Better than expected!!

We of course looked up reviews prior to booking… however we were more than impressed with the condo as well as the resort grounds and staff. Everything went so smooth and no hiccups to speak of. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation stay at sterling sands and will absolutely be returning very soon!!!

Family Getaway

Overall we loved our time in Destin. The listing shows there to be a second bedroom with two twin beds. Don’t be fooled like we were the bedroom is tiny and has one twin with a trundle bed underneath. Once you pool it out there is no where for suitcases or walking to the bathroom or opening doors. We made it work but it wasn’t what I thought. Location is awesome though!

The condo was nice. Location is good. Property management was very responsive. The twin bed room doesn’t have a closet. The icemaker didn’t work. The bathroom trash cans were broken. There were dirty washcloths in master shower when we arrived.
