Wonderful place to stay. We stayed with our 4 and 2 year old and the trundle bed was great for not having to worry about them falling off the bed. Beds were comfortable and the balcony was amazing. Would stay here again!

Perfect location....white sand, clear green ocean, 5 star restaurants, the Snowbirds and vacationers were so friendly....heated pool for those cool days.....perfect setting for a vacation..

Better than expected!!

We of course looked up reviews prior to booking… however we were more than impressed with the condo as well as the resort grounds and staff. Everything went so smooth and no hiccups to speak of. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation stay at sterling sands and will absolutely be returning very soon!!!

We were very pleased with the size of the unit as well as how stocked the kitchen was with dish ware and cooking utensils. The balcony had a beautiful view of the ocean. The pool and grounds were upkept very well!

Family Getaway

Overall we loved our time in Destin. The listing shows there to be a second bedroom with two twin beds. Don’t be fooled like we were the bedroom is tiny and has one twin with a trundle bed underneath. Once you pool it out there is no where for suitcases or walking to the bathroom or opening doors. We made it work but it wasn’t what I thought. Location is awesome though!

The condo was nice. Location is good. Property management was very responsive. The twin bed room doesn’t have a closet. The icemaker didn’t work. The bathroom trash cans were broken. There were dirty washcloths in master shower when we arrived.

Destin 2022

Great location and nice property. Downside is the beach is private and you must rent umbrellas for the beach service. Some owners include in the rental of the condo. Ours did not. The inside is dated and the mirrors needed to be cleaned. Our door code would not work so had to call the management company. They were able to change our code.

Old furniture, old fixtures and not as clean as I’d like

The furniture at this location was old and dusty. During my stay I received a text from guest services at 8am stating that a new couch was being delivered. 30 mins later someone came to take the old couch. I waited around for hours and at 1pm a new couch was delivered. I was asked to be there when it was delivered although I’d prefer not to have someone in my vacation place while I’m not there, I was given no notice that this was going to be happening during my stay. 30 mins is all the notification I received and then it tied up my whole day. It was good that the couch was replaced because it was really worn down. The furniture outside of the couch was really old and dusty. There was trash on top of things and the bed skirts were filthy. The bathrooms are old-old, like the main bath is peach colored old. The dinette set was fairly new. The location was perfect. View was amazing. We did have to pay 15 per person to get access to the beach and pool. Parking was free.

The location is perfect, but the condo itself is not

Very small condo. The second bedroom is smaller than my laundry room. There is no closet in the second bedroom. You will feel suffocated. Very old furniture. The mattress was HORRIBLE. Probably 15-20 years or more old. I had back pain from the first night of sleep. I had to sleep on the couch for the rest of the stay. The trundle bed was a pain. The room is soo sooo small that when you pull out the trundle bed you cant even open the bedroom door. Does not that violate a safety standard? It is my fault that I rented this condo. Will pay much more careful attention next time I rent anything. I am never coming back to this condo for sure.
