Vacation from HELL

Property was not clean, bedding was torn, wires were hanging all over. Rental car was towed due to property management error.

Read before booking. I’m a seasoned traveler and have used VRBO multiple times. This place is probably maintained by a single guy who has never been married and it shows. The pictures are not accurate, except for the front door and the washer/dryer. I have to keep it short because I ran out of room typing my review. Dirty and not user friendly. Wires hanging in the bedroom and nowhere to put your clothes. The dresser in the bedroom isn’t there any more. There were 7 pillows available but only 2 plates and zero drinking glasses. Bathroom door handle is about to fall off. The bidet toilet wasn’t fully bolted down.. The front door pin pad lock will lock its self automatically and you don’t have the combination. Thankfully I didn’t lock myself out. The bed was comfortable and the host did let me checkin an hour early. The water pressure and temperature were good. Other than that, don’t book here. Out of hosts control, the people that live upstairs are night owls. It doesn’t matter, 12am, 1am or 2:30am, they are walking around and talking. Woke me up at 5am during an argument. The only mixing bowl was a larger than average, flimsy plastic bowl. No welcome book suggesting local restaurants or places of interest. Thankfully I had my itinerary but this is the first place that didn’t have a welcome book. VRBO should have a verification process.
