The entire experience was more than we could have asked for. Every amenity you can think of is provided and the host has recommendations to visit along with a folder with restaurant menus and suggestions. The front patio with the bird feeders was my favorite, it’s so relaxing and serene. Will be back to visit again

Although the cabin was wonderful, very cozy comfortable, very accommodating. But, we could not shower the entire time we were there. The water in the bathroom never got hot in the shower only in the sink. We let it run for nearly 20 minutes and still no hot water. When spending over 900 for a three day stay you would expect to be able to take a shower. If it’s snowing. Be vary careful. The driveway is extremely tricky. We were glad there wasn’t snow.

We wish we had known during your visit so we could have tried to troubleshoot or assist right away. We will be checking the system to make sure everything is working properly for future guests. Thank you as well for mentioning the driveway. Mountain conditions can change quickly in winter, so we always encourage guests to use caution, especially if snow or ice is present. It’s clear the host really cares about the comfort of their guests. Apart from the good location and big fenced yard, there were lots of little niceties, like a coffee and tea station, stocked with loose tea from the local shop, hand and dish soap from another local shop, and a candle made by the owner to take as a gift. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and spices/condiments. The beds have heated blankets, and I enjoyed watching birds at the feeders right outside the bedroom window in the morning. Everything is clean and the furniture is nice and comfortable. The kitchen table expanded and there was a bench and two chairs to comfortable seat 4.I would definitely recommend this place, and I would stay there again.

What a wonderful little home away from home! We chose this house for the completely fenced-in yard. We were so pleasantly surprised by the little unexpected amenities like gourmet loose-leaf tea, welcome champagne and a homemade candle to take home. There are beautiful hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and bathroom; bedrooms both have comfortable carpeting. We stayed for 5 weeks... we have never stayed anywhere for that long and we would definitely stay here again. Margaret is an amazing communicator and we felt very comfortable.Perhaps our favorite little surprise was the adorbs dog next door, Bella, who daily tried to race our greyhound along the fence. :D10/10 recommend if you are looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful neighborhood with friendly neighbors.

First time ever In Idyllwild Day of arrival was amazing but really rainy pretty dark by the time I arrived, had acouple friends from down the mountain join us and host seemed pleasant at first then was threatened with sheriff and eviction by the time I wokeup, was informed the 4 cars we had was fine but not sure the change of heart by sun up. Had my pup with me because property said pet friendly but I guess having my 3yr old pup there was an issue, again this was my first time ever staying in a cabin. First night was great but wokeup to threats and eviction. Left the cabin better then I found it and peacefully.

This review is false in its entirety. The cabin was booked for 2 people, no pets with a max number of people and cars identified in the listing. You had more than 8 people, a dog, and 5 vehicles including 2 parked illegally on the street for more than 18 hours. You did not respond to me or VRBO to resolve immediately so you were evicted. We have to follow permit rules in order to operate lawfully. When a guest is non compliant we have 1 hour to address or risk our permit. Unfortunately you did not comply with the stated rules and did not answer calls from me or VRBO so I had to evict you.
