Absolutely loved our stay at La Petite. The house was perfect for us and our two small dogs and had all the amenities we needed. The host was responsive and we couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing stay. We would definitely stay here for our next visit to Idyllwild.

Perfect location - only a few short blocks to town. Very cute and clean with everything provided - even the Keurig coffee. Lots of windows, so the rooms are all very bright. Two decks for enjoying the surrounding forest, squirrels and Stellar's Jays. We definitely highly recommend the La Petite!

Adorable Cozy Cabin

Very well appointed! Every room is nicely decorated and the kitchen has everything you’ll need to cook a gourmet meal! Outdoor patios are perfect for enjoying your food and seeing nature at its finest!

Beautiful retreat!

This was a beautiful location! Well equipped, very comfortable and clean! The location is ideal - off the Main Street but within walking distance to the center of town. Communication with the host was great, very clear instructions and very responsive! We appreciated the opportunity to stay here and would love to go visit again!

Quiet and cozy

Peaceful, cozy and so close to the town center you can walk to everything you need. Great fireplace that warmed the whole ground floor up. Host went out of his way to contact by email when VRBO had issues in the app.

Nice getaway

Great little cabin for some rest and relaxation. Short walk to restaurants and shops. Clean and stocked with necessities. Spiral staircase was fun but may not be for everyone, additional stairs are located outside. Would return.

The Perfect Escape

My husband and I had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin! It was the perfect spot to unwind after the hustle and bustle of the holidays. The cabin was sparkling clean and the check-in process was super simple, which made everything feel stress-free from the moment we arrived. The location was ideal—just a short walk to town, so we had easy access to shops and cafes (highly recommend Raven Hill Bagels!).The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals and feel right at home. We especially appreciated the comfy bed, which made for restful nights after a busy day of exploring and hiking. Overall, this cabin was the perfect retreat to recharge, and we can't recommend it enough!

La Petite was simply exceptional. The house was immaculate and easy to enter and exit. Loved the outdoor stair/patio for easy use getting to second floor AND star gazing. Our pup Bo was right at home. Kitchen is well equipped, bed is super comfortable and the show was a welcome relief after our long drive from northern CA. We would highly recommend this place and only advise anyone who books it to STAY LONGER. We only had one night and couldn't take advantage of all it has to offer. Thanks to Mark our host as well. Easy to reach him for questions and his response time was great. Two thumbs up for sure!

Lovely Rental

This cabin is just darling. The kitchen is fabulous (and I'm a cook), the bed is so comfortable and the renovated bathroom gave me plenty of reasons to give myself an at-home spa treatment. The only thing I would note is that the internal spiral staircase is incredibly tricky (my dog couldn't get up there), but fortunately there is an outside stairwell that we used for him. Also, would be terrific is there were window coverings downstairs. Other than that, I can't wait to return.
