I loved this cottage! In a great location and just steps to the beach! It was so charming and clean. I loved that even though it was right by the beach, it wasn’t in a heavy traffic area, so getting around on a bike was easy. I had a question for Chris the day I got there and she was very quick to respond. Would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat!

I really like this place. Walked to the beach with my dog. Walked to restaurant across street. You can walk to the pier and other restaurants. The house is quite and I felt safe. The little porch out front is nice to sit with our dog. There is a shared space in back with grill, but I just used front porch. It was very relaxing. The picture with table top the stop sign is the beach access. This is very close and easy drive to get to MAYO clinic.

We loved this property! It was the perfect size for my husband and me. Offered everything we needed for a weekend get-away, and the proximity to the beach was great.Highly recommend The Refinery for a nice dinner out. It is 1/2 block from the house, so the perfect location.

Perfect in every way. The cottage felt like our own private retreat and our Westie/Poo appreciated having free range of the yard too. The Whale Beachside Cottage is about as close to the beach as you can get in Jax Beach. It is a very short one block walk and you are on the sand! Chris presents a lovely place to stay, very clean, well maintained, supplied with pretty much everything you need in the kitchen, bathroom, and supplies for the beach to make your stay comfortable and easy. This was our second stay in the cottage and we will return.

We enjoyed our time at the Whale House. It’s a small place as depicted in the photos but well appointed, comfortable and cozy. It’s very close to the beach and lots of restaurants. The fenced yard was great for our pup who was a welcomed guest as well.
