Everything was fantastic - the house had everything one would need for a short or a long-term stay. Rules/directions were clearly spelled out. We made good use of the adk chairs and the fireplace! Location was perfect, walkable to downtown LP.

It was a great stay - the house is perfectly situated at the end of Mirror Lake, well appointed and large enough to accommodate a multi-generational family. We enjoyed the history of the house and found it easy to walk to town and get to the various sites.

Perfect setting

We found this property to be everything we wanted in a pre-Christmas family gathering. Very comfortable, spacious, Adirondack style and also new amenities. Marcy was very attentive and helpful; the location was great and the view spectacular. We hope to return and enjoy this home during the summer months.

Best week on the lake!!

Beautiful quiet private comfortable setting. All expectations regarding advertised setting fully realized. Location made variety of activity easily accessible- day and nighttime forays into the town of Lake Placid, safe available access to walking trails, proximity to grocery stores and ice cream.

Quiet and private, easy walk into town. Great porch and views. In Lake Placid for ECAC hockey tournament and very happy with this choice.

Great house, well taken care of and appointed. Owners very accommodating. Very cozy bedrooms, cheerful eat-in kitchen for gathering, beautiful views of lake, comfortable living room for sitting in front of fire.

Location can’t be beat!!

Our stay at this property was perfect. We were looking for a house large enough to accommodate grandparents (celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary, their kids, and grandkids. Everything was comfortable and the front porch turned into early morning kids playroom and adults coffee spot. The yard was lovely and view of a few high peaks stunning! The kids actually loved the hill and we had enough room to play soccer, track ball, and ride bikes! The dock was perfect with a sandy area to walk in for a swim on Mirror Lake. The location in town was excellent. Close enough for any combination of us to walk in for a meal or drinks, or a stroller ride for some ice cream. It was far away enough from Main Street too that it felt private and quiet. Overall, it turned out to be exactly what we were looking for. Our family vacation was very special thanks to a great location and home. We even got a private chef a few nights which made it feel extra fancy and festive. Highly recommend this property and Marcy was great with the welcome information and departure checklist. Hope to stay here again sometime!

The view of mirror lake is amazing! The house was nice and cozy, with room for everyone. The half bath on the main floor was very useful. Marcy was great, instructuons were very clear and me and my family had a wonderful time!

Exceptional Property in an ideal neighborhood of Lake Placid. A truly charming house w/ views to last a lifetime. The hosts were extremely generous in their welcome package and supply of wood for the fireplace.

A great stay in lake placid!

Although the weather was bitter cold (-44 with the wind chill factor) we had a delightful weekend. The fireplace kept us cozy and warm, the house was very comfortable with gorgeous views of the lake. We did venture out for a few walks, snow shoeing, and delicious meals. Thank you Marcy for being such a great host!!

Perfect for large families

My wife and I, daughter, son in law, 3 grand kids and 2 sisters: All under one roof with room with room to spare. The location couldn’t be better. 10 min walk to the heart of downtown. A big plus for us was the private dock. The grandkids loved swimming in the shallows of the lake, and the grownups enjoyed our kayaks. This is our second year here ,and we’d love to stay again.

Lovely Stay!

It was idyllic in all ways. And we were lucky enough to experience Lake Placid at peak color weekend. Waking up to the view of Mirror Lake each morning was good for the soul!! And Marcy was terrific and made things super easy for us. The house is a classic Adirondacks old world lake house. Such a great vibe

Great time in Lake Placid.

What a great house, and what an amazing location! Just minutes walking distance from the village, yet completely removed from the hustle and bustle of people and shops, very secluded, with a beautiful lawn and direct access to the lake. The house has unique personality, tastefully decorated, spacious, and felt like home. This was a rare find, and we really enjoyed the time we spend there. The host is very welcoming and a pleasure to communicate with. Highly recommend! Andrey
