Welcome to Loon Landing, a family-friendly lakefront condo in Lake Placid where classic Adirondack surroundings meet a comfortable, well-appointed interior. This two-bedroom, two-bath condo is located directly on Lake Placid and within walking distance to town, making it easy to enjoy shops, dining, and local attractions while still feeling tucked away on the water.
The condo is accessed by steps down to the ground-floor entrance. Once inside, everything is on one level with an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area that opens directly to a covered patio and open patio with views of the lake and surrounding mountains.
Spend your winter days cozied up on the couch looking at the mountains and frozen lake after your day of skiing, snowshoeing or enjoying all that winter can provide. We had an absolutely incredible stay! From the moment we walked in, the home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and even more inviting than the photos show. The space was comfortable, well-stocked, and thoughtfully designed. It truly felt like a home away from home.The location was perfect. Close enough to enjoy everything Lake Placid has to offer, yet peaceful and quiet for relaxing mornings and cozy evenings. We especially loved being able to explore the area and then come back to such a warm, welcoming space.Communication with the host was outstanding responsive, kind, and proactive. Every detail was clearly explained, and check-in/check-out was seamless.We would absolutely stay here again and will be recommending it to friends and family. If you’re considering booking this property, don’t hesitate! It exceeded our expectations in every way.

1.It was a basement unit, not aware at time of booking. 2. Entrance door dirty, 3. Poor lighting going to basement from the stairs,4. Beds very high and uncomfortable, for second person not easy till cross over the first person. 5. Very poor beds physically limited person,6. Lots of dirt and trash, looked like not cleaned for long time when looked thru the windows in both bedrooms. 7. Screen door in living room jammed and difficult to operate.8. TV location not ideal. Kitchen utensils, cleanliness very good. Like to talk to the owner or pass on above concerns. Owners email listed did not work. ThanksParikhs.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that the condo did not fully meet your expectations during your stay.
As a newly listed rental in 2026, guest feedback is extremely valuable to us, and we take all comments seriously. We would like to provide some additional context for future guests:
* The condo is a walkout lower-level unit built into a hillside. This is described in the listing, and while the front entrance requires walking down stairs, the rear of the unit opens directly to the lawn and lakefront area.
* There is ample lighting in the exterior areas as this is compliant with the town lighting policies and restrictions . These are in place to reduce light pollution. We are adding additional compliant lighting to make this better.
* The beds and mattresses are new, and we recognize that mattress comfort and bed height can be subjective.
* We have addressed the screen door issue noted during the stay and confirmed it is operating properly.
* The areas visible through the bedroom windows are exterior egress spaces that can collect leaves and debris due to their open design. We have since completed additional cleanup and added this area to our regular maintenance checklist.
We are pleased that you found the kitchen, utensils, and overall interior cleanliness to be very good. We take great pride in maintaining a clean and comfortable condo for our guests.
