BIENVENUE DANS LE LODGE DEEP MOUNTAIN! Cette maison en rondins à la pointe de la technologie a été entiÚrement rénovée en 2019. Située sur un terrain boisé boisé de plus de 10 acres, cette maison dispose d'un grand jardin avec foyer idéal pour les repas en plein air et les rassemblements, d'un joli porche et d'un sentier de promenade privé menant à votre propre quai sur le lac Deering, l'un des plus propres du New Hampshire. des lacs.

Great getaway

Wonderful well kept home with a lovely screened in porch. Great for morning coffee and relaxing! Nice backyard with a fire pit, picnic table and games. A short walk to the water, which was awesome! The lake was clean and refreshing! We made use of the kayaks and saw many loons with their young! Definitely recommend this place!

Memorial weekend getaway

The property was great! Very clean and had everything we needed to cook meals and just relax. Lake was nice but it was a little chilly over the weekend. The hosts left some muffins, cookies, fruit and some beverages which was we though was a nice touch.

We thoroughly enjoyed our return trip to this Log Home in Deering! It proved to be another amazing week which started off with the goodies left in the fridge and on the counter by these most thoughtful owners! Breakfast would have been all set for us with their thoughtful purchases. With comfortable beds, incredible neighbors, amazing firepit, easy accessible waterfront, and all the amenities you could want, this home is perfect for getways with your family! We can't speak highly enough about our stay here! Thank you, and we cannot wait to come back!

We loved our stay at this property. Cabin was perfect for us. Kitchen was fabulous, air conditioning in each room, so comfortable. Outdoor area with fire pit and picnic tables was great. Host was super responsive to our needs.

Rejuvenating getaway

The lodge provided our family with a comfortable and relaxing long weekend away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The property manager was responsive to our questions before and during our stay. The furnishings in the lodge were comfortable, and all essentials were provided. We enjoyed playing cornhole and roasting marshmallows in the backyard, and on the one rainy day of our trip, we made good use of the board games provided. The short walk to the lake is a bit steep -- but worth it! We all enjoyed boating and fishing and sunning. The drive to grocery stores and restaurants is only 10-15 minutes.

Beautiful house with Lake access .

Wonderful 3 night stay in this beautiful log home. Access to the lake, dock and kayaks was a bonus. We had a blast on the lake and did a good amount of fishing. We will definitely be back!

Family get away

Lovely log cabin home in the woods, with a quick little walk to the lake to our own dock. We loved having use of kayaks and swimming out to the floating dock. Loved the loons.

Delightful Stay in Deering

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous and well equipped! My adult children loved playing in the lake, and I had a great time cooking for all. The goodies left in the fridge were a really nice touch. We’d love to come again, if our schedules all can accommodate another visit!

We enjoyed a quick summer getaway at this lake house. The home was clean and well-maintained, and the stocked fridge was a nice surprise. The house could use more lighting inside—it felt a bit dark at times.The property is right across the street from the path to the lake, which I hadn’t realized beforehand. The floating dock was a great feature, and the beach area felt private. The lake side was mostly shady during the day, but the dock stayed sunny through the afternoon.The family staying at the house next to the beach was friendly and helpful. The town itself is very small with limited activities, but we did find a charming ice cream shop that was worth the visit.

Great fishing!

My husband and boys absolutely loved the bass fishing on this lake. The neighbors were super friendly and let us plug in our boat for the week so we didn’t have to use portable power for the trolling motor.

Perfect for our short getaway!

Four adults all enjoyed the home! The kitchen had everything we needed. The Property Manager/Owner had thoughtful treats and any other items. We will return if vacation time allows us to visit New Hampshire again!

Great 4th of July getaway!

Our family had a great 6 day stay! Arrived to a surprise of some breakfast essentials, chocolate chip cookies, and beverages. House was immaculate and stocked with every essential we could have possibly needed. Our first night we noticed the grill wasn’t in good shape and we were apprehensive to use it. I contacted Tom, he answered immediately and within an hour he pulled up with a brand new grill for us. What a great host !We enjoyed days in the water, kayaking, fishing (caught and released a ton of fish) and swimming. Nights by the fire and the large screened in porch was bonus to hang and play games. Even caught 2 nights of fireworks displays from neighbors on the lake for 4th of July. Great place! Great host! Great vacation!

Meet Tom and Patty Byrne! Our family has been on Deering Lake since the 1950s. Tom runs an education company, while Patty works for a consulting firm. We have two adult daughters: Lindsay, who operates The Wet Nose Project—a dog walking and boarding company with the mission of saving shelter animals; and Jessica, a medical laboratory scientist. We also have two very friendly Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs, named Scout and Blue. We purchased the Deep Mountain property in 2018 and have fully renovated the log house, providing private lake access through our undeveloped lakefront lot just across the way.

This property abuts our family's land so, when we learned it was listed for sale in mid-2018, we made the decision to purchase the property to ensure it was not developed or subdivided. The property included a log home, which we gutted and fully renovated for use as a vacation rental. This project was completed in July 2019, and the house is now ready for guests! We've also added a wooded path that leads to your own private dock and the pristine 323-acre Deering Lake (also known as Deering Reservoir, or by its native American name of Lake Piscataquog—the headwaters of the Piscataquog River).

Deep Mountain Lodge delivers the best of both worlds—complete privacy on 10+ acres of forested woodland, and lakefront access featuring your own private dock on Deering Lake. Use our canoes, kayaks, and small runabout (boating license required), or bring your own boat! The home has been fully renovated inside and out. Enjoy our high-end kitchen, three bedrooms (all with air conditioning), lovely screened porch, large flat screen TVs with hundreds of FIOS channels and Netflix, a large yard with fire pit and a brand new Weber grill that is great for hosting cookouts or gatherings. On the lake, you'll find endless opportunities for fun and relaxation exploring miles of shorefront, or boating and swimming in the crystal-clear waters of Deering Lake. Or, bring your mountain bikes or hiking boots and hit our local trails or miles of quiet country roads.
