The cottage was very clean. It was exactly as described, rustic, small but very well kept and had all the supplies you needed. My husband and I enjoyed our stay.

Janet is a wonderful and communicative host! This property truly could not be in a better location. It’s walking distance from downtown and you can easily access beautiful trails nearby. I do feel the size of the place was a bit misleading- it’s quite a bit smaller than the photos make it look. Specially the bathroom is very small. The place overall was clean but the bathroom could use a good cleaning.

Cute little cabin. We spent most of the time hiking. So we simply slept there and washed some clothes. I would recommend it if you are spending most of your time in the park. It’s a little tight for more than two people. But it was perfect for me and my husband!

The tiny cabin was clean and well stocked with almost anything a traveler could need. The host was promptly with replies to our questions and helped us get settled in. Since there isn’t a lot of surface space you must be creative to free up space for all your stuff. We even brought the coffee table in from the porch for our needs. We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the town of Grand Lake with all of its community spirit.

Great location close to RMNP. Enjoyed the view from living room window. Nice deck with table/chairs. Washer/Dryer was helpful. Box fan & ceiling fans helped keep us comfortable. Quick response to questions. VRBO listing needs to be updated – full bed, not queen in bedroom; picture doesn’t show the new building right up next to the cabin.

Planning this trip with Janet was easy. Few things wrong with cabin. Living room fan had no cord to it, there is no air conditioner, tin roof makes inside very hot. The t. . In living room you can only use dvd’s. So if you want to relax for a while you have to go into the bedroom. Light fixtures really need attention, was dead bugs in globe. Dirty mop sitting out in kitchen. Bed was very comfortable.

Thank you for your feedback! The majority of the homes in Grand Lake do not have air conditioning. The warmest day gets about 78 with the evenings cooling down to the 40’s. This cabin has cottage windows with screens to leave open for great air flow. A recent guest did pull the chain out of the ceiling fan but there is a box fan in the living room as well. There is also a ceiling fan in the bedroom.The living room tv does have a dvd but the bedroom has a smart tv & we have free Starlink WiFi there as well. I will mention the globe and the mop to the cleaners. Thanks again!

Great little cottage for couples! It is a bit rustic but very clean, with all the supplies you need if you want to cook, and a place to store leftovers from some of the great places to eat in the area! The bed was very comfortable, and they had small TVs in the living area and the bedroom. The living room had a DVD player with several movies and shows, and the bedroom had Hulu, Netflix, etc. Wifi was good, and I was able to do a few quick work tasks while I was there. It is a short walk from downtown or the local grocery. Definitely recommend.

What a tremendous location, walking distance to everything in town, and right outside of the national park. Cabin had everything we needed. Would 100% recommend.

Very small cabin - nothing fancy but tucked in away from the main road with nice relaxing views. I will say it was a lot smaller than expected as the listing pictures made it look a lot bigger than it actually is. The bed is only a full size, not a queen, and the shower was unbelievably small. Also, the ceiling is very low and we kept hitting our heads on the ceiling fan. There is also another cabin butt up right against the cabin, so privacy isn't the greatest. However, it was very close to the town and lots of different things to do not far from the cabin. Again, nothing fancy, but it is a cute little cabin good for a little weekend getaway.

Perfect couples cottage

Had an awesome stay at this cute, little cottage. We spent most of our time in RMNP and this was a perfect home base. It's very close to the park so early starts before the 9 am when entry permits are required was easy. Close to the market and dining options in town.

Rustic cabin

This place is perfect if you are an outdoors lover. The cabin is great for overnights and the basics. Very close to Rocky Mountain National Park with access to many trails. Owner is very responsive.

Janet's property was clean, cozy, and incredibly located! We were a quick walk to downtown and a 5 minute drive to the North Inlet trailhead to Cascade Falls. We had everything we needed including extra games, books, and movies. Janet was so easy to communicate with, check-in and check-out was a breeze, and we could not have had a better stay!
