Situé sur une ferme de fruits exotiques de 8 hectares, le long de la côte de Hamakua, le Royal Palm Cottage vous procurera la sérénité de la vie à la campagne à Hawaii. Une vue du Mauna Kea vous accueille lorsque vous conduisez sur Chin Chuck Road, connu pour ses parcelles agricoles bien entretenues de 10 acres. Lorsque vous entrerez dans la propriété, vous serez émerveillés par les vues à couper le souffle sur des palmiers royaux matures, des bambous noirs de plus de 10 mètres, des vues sur l’océan et de nombreuses autres fleurs tropicales hawaïennes. Le célèbre parc national d'Akaka Falls est à seulement 10 km.

Une nouvelle construction privée 1 chambre, 1 salle de bain avec douche carrelée, kitchenette, salle à manger et salon vous accueillera à la maison après une journée de découverte. Les installations comprennent un sauna sec, du parquet Koa, un lit queen-size, la climatisation, un ventilateur de plafond, des lampes à intensité variable et une véranda privée. Les couleurs sont fraîches et relaxantes pour les amoureux de la nature. Parfait pour une belle retraite romantique, un anniversaire, une lune de miel ou tout simplement une visite du côté Hamakua de la Grande île. À seulement 15 miles de Hilo, 30 miles de la vallée Waipio, à 1 heure du parc national des volcans d'Hawaï. Plus de 200 arbres fruitiers matures sont sur la propriété. Le litchi saisonnier, l'empereur litchi, le rambouton, la mangue, le mangoustan, Atemoya et la papaye seront inclus dans la corbeille de fruits de bienvenue. Laurel was extremely gracious and so kind. The space was very welcoming and the perfect vacation getaway. Very clean and comfortable space as well. I can’t imagine a hawaii vacation anywhere else!

We enjoyed our stay! The hosts were fantastic and the amenities were as described. The area is very private and quiet, we didn’t mind the occasional barking from kennel when we walked by, or when the pigs tried to wander in. Morning sunrises on the property was a highlight of ours and we enjoyed meeting dog Elvis. Our stay was very comfortable, anything we needed the hosts were happy to provide. We’ll be back! Beautiful setting, very abundant plant life. We enjoyed the coqui frogs serenading us at night. The native fruit grown on the property was a treat along with the homemade banana bread. Only issue was musty when first opened, cleared fairly well when ac was turned on. Dogs barking at times at night woke us up. Beautiful place, comfortable with everything you need.

Glad you enjoyed the fruits from our farm and green surroundings. This side of the island has seen a large amount of rain before and during your stay. Glad you turned on the AC. We do provide ear plugs incase the frogs or dogs are much for our guests. It was nice to chat with you both.

This was the perfect place for my family and I to stay for a LAST minute booking on the east side of the island. Laurel was so friendly, communicative, and responsive- we had no issues! The apartment is so cute and warm, homey touches were found all throughout. I loved that the place was clean and tidy, the temperature was perfectly set (the AC in the living area is definitely a great feature), and all the furnishings plus bed were so comfortable, fresh and welcoming. My husband and I and our 2 kids thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We were also VERY thankful for the sweet touch of a fresh local fruit platter with homemade banana bread also!! That was a HUGE plus and definitely worth an extra STAR! The grounds and surroundings were lovely and even though we thought the sounds of the dogs might be heard, in all honesty, we hardly heard ANYTHING!! We would definitely stay again and recommend it to others!

We had an amazing time. This sweet place was perfect for us and Ms. Laurel was beyond amazing. The yard was so much fun for our girls to run around and play - they had a blast! The beds were comfy and the sleeper for the kids was perfect! My only regret was that we didn't have more down time to spend hanging and relaxing. Hope to be back so soon! 3 Mahalo

A little drive north out of Hilo Check in and communications with host was easy and helpful. Property was as advertised and very relaxing. Loved the location!Definitely would stay again!

7 days straight and absolutely 0 complaints. Well kept, clean, and quiet. Awesome neighborhood also surrounded by 10 acre farms. Can’t say enough….I didn’t know about a pool, but I am sure it’s as good as the everything g else so I gave it a 5 also.

If you are looking for a beautiful and quiet place to get away from it all this is it! As we opened the door of the cottage we were like wow this is beautiful and very clean! A tray filled with a variety of fruit and a loaf of banana bread (the banana bread was so yummy!) was waiting for us on the table as well as a welcome note from our hosts Laurel and Lani. The 8 acre site that the cottage is located on is a fruit orchard that is maintained by the hosts. A very unique cottage with a setting that is far different than you will likely experience. The cottage is conveniently located not too far from the cities of Hilo and Honokaa. Driving in either direction provided beautiful views of the island as well as the ocean. Laurel and Lani were very gracious hosts! During our stay there we sat at the fire pit outside and had a few cocktails with them. What a terrific and fun couple! Thank you Laurel and Lani! We will be back!

We planted every tree and built all of the structures on property. It is so nice that you all enjoyed the same peaceful surroundings that we do. The fire pit was perfect place to relax. We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Hilo property! The lush surroundings and well-maintained grounds made it a stunning retreat. We felt incredibly safe throughout our visit, which added to the overall comfort. The owner was responsive and approachable, making us feel we could reach out anytime with questions or needs. A delightful bonus was the fresh fruit provided, which was a perfect touch of local flavor. Highly recommend this gem for anyone visiting Hilo!
