Sol Mate Too est une maison de vacances complète qui descend seulement un court chemin vers la plage. Il se trouve à proximité de Sol Mate, et ensemble, ils forment un complexe de vacances merveilleux et inhabituellement privé pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 20 personnes au total. Deux séries d'escaliers mènent au parc paysager, avec des chemins de sable et de coquillages à travers les plantes et les fleurs tropicales. Une généreuse terrasse sur le côté ouest (généralement ombragée par le banian dans la partie la plus chaude de l'après-midi) est meublée et dispose d'un gril à gaz, ainsi que d'une douche chaude pour le rinçage après une baignade dans le golfe.

Cette demeure moderne est perchée dans les arbres du deuxième étage. L'intérieur propre et lumineux s'ouvre sur le porche qui s'étend sur toute la longueur du devant. Deux ensembles de portes coulissantes en verre à trois panneaux peuvent être rabattus pour donner l’impression d’une cabane dans les arbres ouverte faisant face à la plage (vue partielle).

L'intérieur est fraîchement peint, nouvelle moquette, nouvelle literie et traitements de fenêtre. C'est un endroit charmant pour se détendre et profiter du beau temps Captiva. Être si près de la plage est vraiment pratique - pas de longues promenades sur le trottoir chaud! Il y a des télévisions dans les deux chambres et dans le salon. Un parking couvert pour deux voitures est prévu sous le bâtiment.

La suite parentale occupe la partie nord-est de la maison. Il dispose d'une salle de bains privée avec baignoire et douche.

La suite d'invité est sur le sud-est et a deux lits jumeaux. La salle de bain comprend également une baignoire et une douche.

Pour les invités supplémentaires, il y a un canapé-lit queen-size dans le salon.

Soulmate too

We had a wonderful stay at this sweet cottage. New construction blocks the full view but there’s still enough view to see sunset from the lanai! Location is fabulous. The beds are queens and extremely firm but other than that, the cottage has everything you’d need. Albert at American Realty was absolutely wonderful. Excellent vacation!

There’s one property in front of this one so there’s just a partial ocean view but access to the beach is very easy and convenient with a pathway that gets you there in 30 seconds. We appreciated the beach chairs, towels, and umbrella. Overall it was an enjoyable stay for our family.

Reviewer Comments: There were problems with the dishwasher, the door will not shut properly and it was extremely difficult to get it to function properly. There is a problem with the TV in the living room. I called regarding its operation and some one from the office came over and HE also had problems with it. It appears that one of the electric receptacles may be faulty, but as it turns out I had to unplug the TV and replug it into another receptacle each time I wanted to turn it on. It worked then but the process was a nuisance.

This year our usual cottage still was not ready, so we took this larger house for a shorter period. It is very roomy and nice, with a great place to sit outside and a short walk to the beach. It is more than we need, so we are hoping to go back to the cottage next year, but this would be our second choice

It is a delightful space and although not ocean front we enjoyed a small, but lovely view of the beach between the trees and the sound of waves rolling in. The house was so comfortable and the lanai a pleasure to sit on anytime of the day. Clean, nicely equipped, conveniently located and tastefully decorated, it made for an especially enjoyable and relaxing getaway. (PS - Management great to work with!)

There’s a nice partial ocean view from the lanai, which was great for sitting and eating outside. The location to the beach was fantastic. Only a 30 second walk. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The photographs of this property show it at its prime, which is not the way it feels now. The rusting/mildewing front door of the refrgerator sums up the current status of the place. There are numerous ways that it is in need of TLC. If it received that, it could be a very comfortable place. There is the exterior problem of the septic area (the leach field that was very smelly at times) that you have to walk by on your way to the beach. The smells also deflect from the pleasure of sitting on the lanai at times. Not sure how that one gets solved. I hope Captiva joins Sanibel in its waste water management and gets away from all its septic systems.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House is in a great location with gorgeous tropical landscaping only steps from the beach and just a few blocks from town. It looks out at a large house that blocks the ocean view, but those guests were usually on the opposite side of their house other than when parking, so noise was never an issue.The interior of the house is small but sufficient for 2-4 people. The furnishings are worn, dated and minimal. For example, 4 basic wicker chairs at the dining table that no longer have cushions. Huge sliding doors almost the length of the house, but no curtains or blinds for privacy. The metal frame in the upholstered chair in the living area has torn through the fabric and is a health hazard.The kitchen was well stocked, although the refrigerator door has rust and the dishwasher cleans but doesn't dry. Other appliances are newer. There were plenty of bath and beach towels and bed linens.It was great to be able to open the sliding doors onto the screened porch for fresh air and more space, but the porch frame and railings are peeling, rusted, moldy and very unattractive. The cranks are missing from some of the bedroom and bath windows which prevents them from opening.Master bath pocket door wouldn't close, but American Realty did have it repaired while we were there. Overall they were good to work with and were very receptive to our requests.House was fairly clean except for the stains in the bedrooms' carpet and living area throw rugs. The house has the makings to be very attractive and comfortable with some repairs and upgrades.
