Propriété riveraine sur la rivière Chauga "Boarhogs Place"

Notre chalet est situé sur la rivière Chauga et est très privé. Nous venons d'acheter cette cabine et aimerions faire quelques mises à jour de la salle de bain et de la cuisine / salle à manger dans un proche avenir, mais nous voulions mettre en ligne pour la saison de football de Clemson. Clemson est à seulement 40 km. C'est 2 chambres 1 salle de bain mais il y a de la place pour faire sauter un matelas au sous-sol si nécessaire. Le sous-sol est une grande pièce (ajoutant une autre chambre et salle de bain à l'avenir). Je sais que vous l'aimerez autant que nous. Au plaisir de vous accueillir bientôt !!

We had a wonderful weekend at Boarhogs Place. Kay was very quick to communicate and very accommodating. The house was perfect and had everything we needed. I especially appreciated all the extra toiletries and coffee provided. The host was very thoughtful. My husband loved fishing in the river and we got to make the memory of our daughter catching her first fish. We will definitely stay again!

Wonderful Retreat

This property had a great fishing spot, relaxing stream, and porch to nap on. Had a great time getting away from real life for a few days.

River Getaway Stay

Beautiful cabin on the river, beautiful area! Relaxing in and around the river was simply fantastic. The area offers amazing waterfalls and hiking. The owners were so warm and friendly, such a pleasure to meet! My husband and I will certainly be visiting again.

Fall getaway

Absolutely loved this property! The host, Kay was wonderful and so nice and really went out of her way to make sure we had a great trip!!The house was very well stocked with everything you need and decorated so cute! Loved the back porch and swing and the outside little free library.. so cute!!Enjoyed the fishing and caught the biggest trout I will probably ever catch in my life.. really enjoyed this!!!Just an overall relaxing and great experience! Great little cabin

Nice little cabin, very clean, located centrally so there’s a lot of places around & within an hour or so drive. Kay was so nice to work with again. We have stayed in 2 of her places & both did not disappoint. She even stocked with groceries for a small fee.

A Lovely Mountain Stream Stay

This mountain stream cabin surpassed expectations! It's in a wonderful location with a nice variety of activities in the nearby area, and lots of games and equipment for use on the property. It is very nicely furnished and immaculate. We enjoyed sitting on the outdoor porch listening to the water passing by every night!

Mountain Getaway

This is an awesome mountain getaway. Perfect for unplugging and relaxing. It was right on the river with great access for swimming or sitting with a drink. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely keep it in mind next time we head to the mountains.

Mountain retreat

The property was amazing! The picture does not do it justice. The outdoor space was so inviting and relaxing and romantic for couples. The wifi signal was strong and allowed you to use your modern conveniences. Cant wait to get back there!

Amazing!

Perfect tucked-away cabin on the river. We spent a lot of time on the back porch swing, listening to the river and watching the rain. It was so relaxing! The owners are the nicest people on the planet and go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to be back soon!

Perfect anniversary getaway

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend to celebrate our 10th anniversary. It was very relaxing and peaceful. The property is beautiful and the house was very clean. Kay was helpful and easy to get in touch with. The back porch is so nice with the river view - perfect for a cup of coffee. We’d love to go back again!

Perfect in every way...

Adorable little cottage, nice and cozy inside. Very well equipped with all of your needs and then some. The owner was so very super sweet and a pleasure to meet! The only issue... our trip was too short. Will have to book more days next time. Was absolutely perfect for a little weekend getaway.

Perfect Getaway

The cabin was easy to locate with host directions and upon arrival, we were thrilled! On the river, immaculate, beautifully decorated and stocked better than any home I’ve previously rented. We love to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed. The porch overlooking river was peaceful and relaxing. Our gracious Host was thoughtful in every aspect. We stayed 5 days and no doubt, , we want to visit this cabin again.

Great getaway

Really enjoyed the house. Love the river that runs right to the backyard. Easy access to get in and splash around, lots of fun. House was clean, kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of room for 2 adults. Comfy beds. Loved the back porch. We sat out there and played cards and listened to the river. Highly recommend.

Wonderful get away

If you are wanting a mountain trip but don’t want the touristy mountain towns in NC, this is the place. Mountain Rest is a quiet little town with beautiful scenery, waterfalls, hiking trails, and scenic rivers. Boar Hogs place was just what we wanted. A little privacy and a beautiful river to play in. Stepping out on the frack Deck and overlooking the river was my favorite. Host was the best. Even invited us over for homemade ice cream.

Enjoying Boarhog's Place

We enjoyed our two night stay. Highlights were fishing in the river with very good success around 8pm, grilling burgers, and sitting by the fire pit. We also enjoyed playing Jumangi on the back porch while hearing the river. We drove down to Wahalla and enjoyed coffee and local made chocolate chip banana bread pudding at Gather Uptown. We also visited the Chattooga River Fly Shop and picked up a few Father's day gifts and had great conversation. A trip to this area is not complete until you go to Fraisers General Store for fishing stories and tales about Boarhog and Slick.
