Great Place in Gulf Shores

Perfect spot for a family vacation. The condo has great views. The complex has a fabulous pool and the walk to the beach is a quick one.

The views of the ocean and lagoon were beautiful. There were some cleanliness issues, mold in master shower that took my husband an hour to clean. The management company responded immediately for the drain cover repair.The unit needs some repairs and updates to justify the price. The master bathroom had evidence of previous mold around the ceiling that needed to be sealed and painted. The grout in the master bathroom shower needed treated for mold and sealed. The body jets were clogged with lime buildup. The balcony needed pressure washed as it had black stains in multiple places. The cookware was scratched and wasn't safe to use due to the nonstick coating peeling.Most everything could easily be fixed and hopefully will be addressed.

Beach get-a-way

This is a very nice unit. The property was clean and everything except the elevator to the 8th floor worked. They did compensate for the inconvenience by giving us a free night. We love the lagoon behind the property. My grandkids were able to catch crabs and fish. We all had a great time. I highly recommend.

First time vacation renters

This was our first time using a vacation rental so I was very nervous going into it. I was pleasantly surprised. The check in and check out process was very easy. The building is a little outdated and smells musty (but I guess that is to be expected being so close to the beach). The condo itself did not have the musty/damp smell and was just like the pictures except the living room furniture was newer. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The bedrooms were great for our family of five. The master bathroom shower needs a deep clean and the shower door needs to be fixed as it didn’t stay closed. Huge washer and dryer which made laundry very easy. It was very quiet on this floor as there is only one other condo on the floor. Very easy access to the beach (it’s just across the street). Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect!!

The condo was very spacious, very clean, nicely updated and perfect in every way. Easy access to beach. Pool and hot tub area so pretty and awesome. Grilled steaks on the grills one night. Will plan to stay here from now on…our new favorite place in gulf shores for sure.

Best Vacation Stay Ever!!

801-A was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed the spacious property where everyone was able to be together or have some quiet time alone. The view from the balcony and from the dining room was awesome! I was concerned about the lack of the elevators in Building A but the few steps up to the property was only slightly inconvenient when moving in and out. We met the Owner of the other Penthouse, a very nice man, who said we were so quiet he didn’t even know we were there. I told my children and they said “Great! Maybe they’ll let us come back!” We are all in love with the place!! The kids enjoyed the pool and I enjoyed the balcony!!

Taken advantage of for 4th of July

I understand that prices are higher for 4th of July but to double your rates and not have everything clean and working is not okay. It looks like the cleaning crew left halfway in the middle of cleaning and never went back. It looked like they were going to change the batteries in the remote and didn’t so they just left them with the battery cover off and no batteries. We put our own batteries and it still didn’t work. The shower had a very slow drain and the toilet paper holder fell off the wall. I messaged the property owner and they informed me to call Brett/Robertson the property manager. I called them and they said they would try and get the on call people out there. No one ever showed up and we had no TV in the living room for our stay and a really slow drain. I called after we checked out to talk to them about our stay and they said a supervisor would call me back and never did. I feel like we were taken advantage of for 4th of July weekend.

Wonderful place to stay!

My sister and I, our two teen girls and our mom all loved this place! The condo was in excellent condition and the living room furniture and decor has been updated. It looks nicer than what is pictured and is very comfy. Owners were thoughtful enough to leave clear directions and a channel list for the smart TV so watching movies at night was easy. The beds were great and views were amazing. We spent a lot of time on the massive patio watching sunsets over the lagoon and were glad to be able to keep tabs of our teens in the pool below. We were high up enough to not hear pool noise. The showers are amazing! Appliances worked perfectly and kitchen is well stocked with utensils, dishes, etc. The swimming pool and public areas were always clean. Landscaping around the pool is beautiful and feels like a tropical resort. The only minor cons were that there were not enough blankets (we bought some at Dollar General) and we were given the wrong Wifi password by Brett Robinson. (wound up using our hot spot) but these did not take away from our positive experience. As a previous GSSR owner who used to use Brett Robinson, I just wanted to let the owners know. Also GSSR needs to get those new elevators installed ASAP. We had to take the stairs a couple of times due to all 4 elevators not working, which wasn't easy on our elderly mom/grandma, though the rest of us didn't mind too much. The office staff at GSSR were nice and helpful. Other guests all seemed very happy, despite the elevator problems. Five stars for this one and we will rent this condo again in the future!
